The whole staff that came that morning to review my condo for a rebate was very professional and pleasant.Will was thorough in every step of the way. Ive had nothing but great experience with this company. After a hurricane they showed up the next day to repair my downed electrical wire. Their electrical supervisor Chris was incredibly responsive and communicative. I could believe the level of service I was getting.We hired them to install a gas fireplace and when we had a follow up.question about a propane smell they showed up the same day after hours to address our concern.Its so refreshing to know there are companies that do such excellent work!

From the sales team (Chris Borucki and Chris Stilwell) to the team who handled removal of our old oil furnace and tank and installation of the new propane furnace (Joe Lanesey, Luis Nevarez) everything was done perfectly and with attention to detail. Joe was thoughtful with the placement of new ductwork and treated our home as though it was his own. Everyone we interacted with from those who were in our home to those in the office coordinating things was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend Bantam Wesson, especially the individuals mentioned here - a fantastic team to work with on a pretty complicated oil to propane conversion. They made the process smooth and seamless, answered all of our questions, were respectful of our home and our needs, took the time to make sure everything was perfect and that we agreed with their proposals.

We had a fireplace insert installed in 2014. The propane fireplace worked fine for about one year . At that point the remote stopped working. Not a problem as I could still use the device by kneeling and using the igniter button. It Wasn’t that easy, but it still worked. This past winter, my wife decided to call and have it professionally fixed so the remote would work properly. The main reason was the pilot no longer stay lit. The technician came as scheduled but left without indicating additional work was needed. We thought the device was fixed since the pilot light was not working. That was in February and we heard nothing from the company from that point on. We did notice we were not able to start the device despite the fact that the pilot was now lit. When we called it was difficult to find anyone who could call us back and give us additional information. When we finally did get in touch with someone they told us that the fireplace insert needed a part so we waited. We were led to believe the part has been ordered. when I called back to ask what was taking so long, They asked me to look for a model number on the mechanism in my fireplace so that they could be sure to order the right part. This is now three months after the initial visit and the device still doesn’t work. Yesterday I finally received a quote for the part that would fix our insert. The quote is for $600 for this repair. I can tell you that I feel the company should comp these parts as we waited three months for any action toward a repair.I rate this company as providing poor service to its customers. They don’t communicate well, they don’t return phone calls, and they don’t take responsibility for their poor service.Very frustrated customer.

They had lots of good recommendations for our home and were super respectful of us and our space. Got a very competitive quote from BW on an airhandler & a/c compressor. They came the day they were scheduled and did a nice job. Had to come back to add a water overflow kill switch. I was concerned they might not come back without me calling but I got a call in a couple of days and the tech came back as promised and Im good to go.

Your Technician Bobby was excellent this am for my yearlymaintenance tune-up of my boiler and water heater. Hewas concerned about my oil tank and gave me a recommendationsince its located too close to my sump pump. Nice to seethat you have good people working for you.

Im not normally a person who reviews businesses often. I felt compelled to say how amazing Bantam Wesson is. They are professional, courteous and they go the extra mile to follow up. Just recently I had an issue at our house. The technician, Matt, was there within 30 minutes. Fixed the problem and couldnt have been nicer. The office called me today just to check to make sure everything was working properly. Its the little things that matter! Ive had multiple issues over the years with plumbing, heating and cooling systems and Bantam Wesson has been a constant presence, there to help quickly. This is a company that others should compare themselves to, they set the bar quite high!

BantamWesson just completed the installation of two heating/cooling systems in our old farmhouse in Colebrook, Connecticut. The system included heat pumps and air handling systems and all the attic duct work and register venting throughout the large house. Given the large footprint of the old house, it was a very complex job. Lead technician Joe and his installation team did a sensational job. They worked tirelessly over the course of nearly two weeks, paying exceptional attention to detail. They were nearly inconspicuous in their presence while in the house. They left the property without nearly a trace of having been here, only leaving behind a wonderful heating/cooling system which will make our house very comfortable in both extremely cold Colebrook Winters and hot Summers. Mention should also be made of the BantamWesson HQ support team, especially Patricia and Anthony, who organized and scheduled the project. I highly recommend BantamWesson to anyone thinking about installing a heating/cooling system in their home. You wont find anyone better!

We just moved into a house that had the original mechanicals and thus were in fire need of an update. We called a few companies but ended up with BantamWesson as Mark and Joe from BW were so personable and knowledgeable. We actually enjoy working with salespeople that are knowledgeable about their product but applies no pressure to close the sale. Mark fit the bill to a T. Very relatable and patient during the entire process and even post-sales, taking the time to explain his thought process.Joe and Luis were our techs and unfortunately I dont think the word awesome is appropriate enough, especially with Joe. Just like any old house, you wont know what you get until you start opening things. Joe was able to identify how inefficient the old system was and how to improve on it.Instead of going with the original quote of a split unit system and having piping on the outside of a beautiful house, Joe was able to make and improve on the original heating design. He took his time to make sure we understood his thought process and walk us through exactly what work would be done. Joe even sold us on a Buderus boiler which were super excited about for our next project. Imagine that, excited about a boiler.

Bantam Wesson ads sound very professional and stress customer satisfaction and service but in reality they’re just a small town unprofessional organization. I was sold a central air system for my two story home built in 1942 but unfortunately the duct work was insufficient to cool the second story. This should have been looked into before selling me the system. After three years of repeated attempts to rectify this matter, I got no service nor satisfaction. I expected more.

We are so grateful for BantamWesson!! We got our whole house insulated for only $150 - a job that shouldve cost about $5,000!!! They are great to work with because they submit the rebate to Eversource so we dont have to come up with the money up front. We just bought a house at the end of August and realized there was no insulation in it basically at all! The initial audit performed by Will and Jason was so easy and they were so helpful (it was also free). They changed any lightbulbs to LED, did some ductwork in the basement, and filled in some holes they found. Their recommendations were clear and they even helped fill out the rebate paperwork for me so there was so confusion. Then a few short weeks later John, Matt, and Joel came out and spent the day filling the whole house with insulation and we could already tell the difference that night!! They did such a great job, were respectful and aware that I had a 7 month old in the house, and cleaned up everything after themselves when they left. My house looked like they hadnt ever been there - besides the fact that it felt warmer! Not only did we save a ton getting this done we are going to save so much on our electric/gas in the years to come. We would truly recommend them to everyone!! Thank you BantamWesson!

We had Bobby, Josh and Paul come to our house a half hour after the initial arrival time (very impressive) and gave my boyfriend and I a detailed review of what they were going to do, why, and what we could be potentially saving. They worked quick, but very efficiently. Once they were done they sat down with my boyfriend (owner of home) and gave him details of what we would be saving and their recommendations. Bobby and Josh completed a Home Energy Solutions audit and were great. They called to say they were running early and showed up an hour prior to my scheduled appointment time. I recently moved into my home that came with an old all year window air conditioning unit that I absolutely did not want to touch. They removed the old air conditioner and hauled it away for me. I would not hesitate to recommend Bantam Wesson 100% without reservation for any HVAC work, their technicians are top notch! My very old central air system died a couple weeks ago and needed a complete overhaul. While they were here, I had them install dampers in my ductwork to fix my broken zones and replace my old thermostats with smart devices and install a new panel to control the zones using nest thermostats.. Joe and Luis did the work well beyond my satisfaction. The entire system works great now, the dampers were installed perfectly and air tight which made a huge difference when cooling my 2nd floor. Joe and Luis were on-time every day, courteous, answered all my questions, did not leave any mess, and the actual installation was of top quality. If I need any HVAC work in the future I will certainly ask for these two guys!

Leaving this review for my family. Don’t let this company anywhere NEAR your property. They’re very unreliable and will let your tanks run dry. They’ve left my 90+ year old grandparents with no heat for days. The trucks are complete junk, will leak GALLONS of oil on your driveway. That’s if the driver even manages to stay on your driveway!! The last 3 times they left huge ruts in my GRASS. Decided to abandon this disorganized company. Been with them years. The only way they stay in business is buying other companies to make up for the customers that constantly leave. This is also why they’re so disorganized. Stay away!!! they also PAY FOR POSITIVE REVIEWS.

BantamWesson has the absolute worst customer service imaginable. Last winter I had no heat and it took 3 visits for them to resolve the problem. They kept saying it was fixed and then a couple days later I would have no heat again. Gotta love waking up to a 50° house, and having to miss work repeatedly to sit around and wait for them to fix something that shouldve been fixed the first time.Now to this year: they came out for no heat, told me to buy a new thermostat when that turned out to be unnecessary (I found out one of the pins was just bent, heat was fixed immediately upon my bending it back into place with pliers, total outlay $0)Now today: they were scheduled to clean my furnace and gave me a time window of 10am-12pm. As of 12pm they had not shown up. I called and was told they sent the tech to the wrong house (a couple doors down). They said he had just arrived there and would leave there immediately to come to my house. He did not show up for another 45 minutes. Unbelievable waste of my very limited time off. This place is THE WORST!

Have used them several times for different reasons over the last few months...Every employee has been polite and gotten the job done.... very happy with them.

Beware. I have a water leak in a line going to my furnace. Called them at noon, told them the problem and they sent a furnace repair guy. He looks at it and tells me I need a plumber ( really?) and one will be there in the morning!!!. After 24 hours I still have a leak and no plumber. Service tells me he will be there sometime today. Is this 24 hour service? False advertising- Terrible. Also I noticed the furnace repair guy was a subcontractor. I can call contractors myself if they cant do things. Im canceling my account with them.

Jason came to do an energy audit as part of EnergizeCt. He was great to work with and very communicative. He found that we needed lots of insulation in our 1960’s house. John, Paul, Cedrik and Juan were here two days to complete the insulation upgrade. They were knowledgable, professional, and even went the extra mile opening a couple of clogged gutters on our porch. I currently use another oil company but after speaking with Joshua for a couple of minutes I will definitely be making the conversion to Bantam Wesson for my next oil fill. Im always searching for ways to save money and come to find out, I can get oil from Bantam Wesson a whole $0.33 cheaper per gallon than my current distributor. These savings will quickly add up!

Joe and Marcus did a great job today installing a new boiler with an indirect water heater. They were on time, very knowledgeable, explained the workings of the boiler when they were wrapping up and left the area spotless!! I would definitely recommend this team from Bantam Wesson.

They/He asked me if I buy oil from them, I said no and that I called because of their positive reviews. He then told me abruptly that they wouldnt help me till after the New Year.

My husband and I were customers for ten years. When he died, Wesson still gave me excellent service for five more years. I had to move and depended on their expertise. They helped me after a break in where all the copper piping was stolen in my house. Came to my home once at two in the morning. Made sure my home was always taken care of in the winter through excellent monitoring. Being a home owner from thousands of miles away would not have been possible without their help. I was grateful for their excellent customer service. My thanks to Wesson.

Jim, an employee of Wesson Energy, stopped by the house today to help with a central heating issue. He was helpful and explained the choices our family had for updating/installing our thermostat, even if it came at the cost of a personal sale. He made sure to do the job right and came off as polite and knowledgeable. Overall a great and trustworthy employee!

We had an exhaust odor when the furnace came on. Al came right on time, was polite and friendly. He showed me the problem and fixed it right away. He even did a test on it to be extra sure it was safe. Also gave me a copy of everything he did. Thanks AL!! :). Gizzy liked him too!

We Had bantam wesson come out and do a energy efficiency audit on are home. The guys showed up on time, and where super nice and respectful. Along with being extremely meticulous with how clean they tried to be. Bobby and Josh both spent hrs here making sure they could get every little thing out the audit from caulking around the windows spray foaming cracks and crevices and much more im sure I missed. After the guys left my fiance and I looked at one another in disbelief how thorough they where, and the amount of time they spent. We actually felt a difference the same night. Are rather drafty older house felt warmer to the point we actually had to lower the heat from are normal setting of 73* to 70*. We just wanted to say thank you guys so much and we highly recommend this company and especially these two guys as well.
