It can be a bit pricey. Theyre a specialty store for arts, crafts and sewing, so I guess I understand. I prefer to go here for my sewing and arts needs better selection than other locations close to me.

Not to be a Karen but dont buy anything from this store if you are a mother with young children. I just left a cart full of material due to the incredible rude staff. My child (2 years old) is having a rough day. He has not been out in public much as COVID has taken that away from most of his life. Anyway, the reason I left is due to an employee, 10 feet away from where my child was crying, stated to another employee J****, that child needs to go take a nap. The other employee looked me dead in the eyes and said nothing. I do not appreciate you making any comment about my child. I am aware of his behavior and was correcting it. Maybe he does need a nap but that is none of you business. Keep your opinions to your self. If you feel the need to say something negative wait until I leave the store at least or say it quietly enough so that I can not hear you. While you are at your place of employment I believe it is your job to be courteous and respectful to the customers. If one of my customers where to overhear me say something negative about their childs behavior I would lose my job. Also, do not use the lords name in this fashion, especially while on the clock. I am extremely disappointed in this store. Not a place for children.

I stopped after work, 2:30 today,Wednesday. Walked in and the Blond employee was just a complaining about another employee that left for the day. The thing that really did me in and made me leave was I ask if they had more flannel and she goes we have lots of it. Over there and over there and there.. Not very nice at all. I am use to going in a fabric shop and get some help with what I want. Sorry for all the complaining but I still havent gotten over the service I got. It will be a while before I come back!

You’d think that with the inflated prices you’d actually get some service. Service is VERY slow at this store. 2 people on the clock and BOTH were outside on break at the same time?!Then still have to wait for any service because one who is supposed to be helping you, ditches you for a customer at the register.And Emily wasn’t even polite to tell me what my total amount to pay is?!I’ve never spent my hard earned money this badly before. I’ve never had as bad of customer service as Emily and Christina.I will not return. Plenty of other craft stores in a reasonable driving distance that actually care about customer service.

Most of the time I find everything I want but the staff is always helpful and nice.

I love this store. Typically my crafting can get me into plenty of financial troubles if Im not careful but with the weekly deals its almost a steal shopping here

Amazing Coupons and Discounts! Got my muslin fabric for .89 a yard! Better than your standard 5 dollars per yard! Also love when all simplicity patterns go on sale for 1.99 instead of the up to 20 dollars for some extensive patterns!

Stock was low in alot of areas

I was iso something I couldn’t find anywhere else. The nice lady working near the fabric lended me a helping hand. She knew exactly where to look as she also taught me a few things about sewing. I have enjoyed coming to Joann Fabrics since I was a little girl. They have a plethora of beads. I would have given 5 stars if the prices weren’t so high on some of the items. I do enjoy their sale items after certain holidays though.

The best, most reasonable crafting store in the area. One thing Ive recently discovered, if they have something at the warehouse you want/need talk one of their kind ladies and they will be sure to order it and it will come directly to the store at NO EXTRA CHARGE to you!! There sales are outstanding, make sure you get on the mailing list for special coupons.

The Watertown, WI store really sucks. They repeatedly decline coupons that I get in emails for being a past customer. I wont shop here again - not worth the hassle. Scammers...

This store is the best, they always have new and exciting fabrics for me to use. The staff is is amazing at making my visits fast and they are very friendly. To anyone how has a negative thing to say, read your coupons carefully and be polite to these hard working employees. Im sure they would love a friendly customer for once. There have been many times where I am waiting in line and the customer in front of me is so rude about a coupon not being accepted or mad at the sales lady for not having something in stock. It is very sickening to see, happy holidays.

I came here on Black Friday and spent a bundle, but I definitely got a lot for my buck. They had Simplicity patterns for only $1! The staff was friendly and they had an adequate number of workers to cut fabric.

I went into this location looking for flowers to use for my wedding centerpieces. I asked one of the workers if she had any tips because Im not a crafty person. She then tells me I need to look on YouTube or go to Ben Franklen. I didnt purchase any because I was shocked she didnt at least try to help. I then found something in clearance Id like to purchase. I went by the registers but no one was around. The two employees were by the fabric cutting station and they both saw me so I walked back by the register. Stood there for a few minutes then another couple got in line as well. Still no one around so I put my item down and left. Im pretty sure the couple behind me did as well because we both went into another store right behind each other. I was planning on purchasing flowers for 25 tables, but Im taking my business elsewhere.

Joann sure went down hill. One would expect to find items that arent available at walmart. It is all available cheaper at walmart. And one of the clerks was shouting across the store that the electricity was going off in 30 minutes for non-payment of bill. Nice. All i wanted was a zipper repair kit. When i went to ask where they were, all of a sudden i could not find either of the 2 women shouting back and forth about the electricity being shut off. They should have had a zipper repair kit.

Did not have items.ither stores had. Also, quite possibly the slowest cashier ever. We opted to not.nuy a product as opposed to standing in line for.so long. Would not go back nor recommend.

The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. As with all of the locations in the entire state of Wisconsin, they are always understaffed. I wish corporate would get their act together and permit more staff at their stores.

I generally love Joanns, but this location really needs to work on their customer service. Not only are the employees very unfriendly, but they have a very minimal selection.Last week when I was there I waited for over 5 minutes trying to find someone to check out my items. I could hear people talking in the back room; I guess I should have checked there first. I stuck my head into the back room and asked if there was anyone working out in the store so I could pay for my items.I have gone to the Watertown location several times, each time thinking I should give them another chance. Each time, I come out of the store irritated by their lack of customer service.

I love wandering the aisles, they have good coupons and deals after major holidays. One time I was building a green screen for video production, and the staff had no idea what I was doing but figured out a great solution for me.

The Watertown, Wi store is a joke! Supposed to be a craft store but they don’t carry most of the stuff to do any crafts. I’ve been in there 3 times and each time left with nothing because they don’t carry anything! And they would t let me use a 20%off coupon. JOKE!!!
