Came here to write about my sweet experience - I am not local to the area, so I was walking around and stumbled in to see if I could purchase some gifts. I had a super sweet and bubbly employee helping me. She ended up helping me pick out some best sellers, and some chocolate covered cherries for myself. I super recommend Kacy to anyone who needs some guidance !!

I go there to get the Best Pistachios in all New England! They also have a good selection of other bus and chocolates.

Absolutely the best place for delicious roasted nuts of all kinds, my husband especially likes the imported pistachios in the shell. My mom and grandson love the red skinned peanuts and the rest of the family love whatever I bring home. They make their own chocolates also, yum! Wonderful place for gift baskets, the place is hopping around the holidays, so definitely go there!

Just Marvelous Place to Be

Fastachi is now the Boston areas best source for craft chocolate. They have finely made bars from across the US, Canada, Europe, and South America that cant be found elsewhere in Boston (except, perhaps Formaggio Kitchen, which focuses more on European chocolate).Dont expect to buy things on the cheap here. The products use real ingredients and arent diluted with vegetable oils or fillers that bring down costs. Instead, what you get are expensive, but truly delicious, finely crafted, well-curated chocolate bars. Enjoy!

Okay, so you need a host gift for the awesome dinner party you are about to go to. What do you do? Head over to Fastachi, pick up some mixed nuts, dried fruit, or one of those fabulous Mast chocolate bars from Brooklyn, or Happy Goat Caramels from the Bay Area. Grab a couple of their truffles to eat on the way in the car (nobody will know).

I cannot seem to go into Watertown, for whatever reason, and not find an excuse to stop at Fastachi. My only complaint is that the nuts are so good and so fresh, I cannot get my husband to stop eating them.....I have taken to buying myself a separate half-pound bag of extra nutty mix to hide in my desk! I too purchase gift boxes for clients at the holidays and they are always appreciated.

We had a box of chocolates, chocolate bark and gourmet nut mix. All were delicious - especially the toffee. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is fascinating. What makes the greatest the experience is the owner Souren. What a great guy he is; very friendly and passionate. He loves what he does, and thats what makes the place and food great.

This is one of my favorite places to get holiday house warming gifts, the nuts and fruits are some of the best Ive ever tasted. They also carry a lot of different types of tasty chocolates.

The staff are completely knowledgeable about every item they sell. All items are very tasty, and always fresh. Visit here and you will not be disappointed.

I may be a trifle biased, I know and love the owners here, but Ive always had great service and perfect nibbles from fastachi. Gracious counter staff and delicious nuts make me come back to indulge at least once a month.

Not only do we visit the store frquently but we also do mail order. Everything is always fresh. The pistachio spread is out of this world and the nut mixes are awesome.

Unbelievably delicious roasted nuts. Fastachi has become my new go-to for business gifts. The store itself is also a gem... beautiful displays and selection. That little neighborhood has become quite the little foodie experience. (Fastachi is right down the road from Sofra, which is another must-visit in Watertown/Belmont.)

Heres an interesting story. Obviously the product is excellent. When I went inside to make a big order, everyone was polite, accommodating, professional. It was a large order -- a basketful of nuts and chocolate costing $167. I asked them to deliver it to a nursing home in Needham that cared for my wife for two years before her recent death. That was Wednesday. They said it would arrive the next day. It did not. BUT HERES THE WORST PART. I was very worried about a perishable product arriving late, so I CALLED FASTACHI yesterday, pressed the key to get to CUSTOMER SERVICE, and they said to leave a message and they would get back ASAP. I did leave a message and got no response. I called again yesterday (FRIDAY) and got to make another voice message to which I have yet (SATURDAY) gotten response. All I wanted was to track the package. I called again today. Same thing. Spending that kind of money to deliver to a nursing home and then getting NO RESPONSE from Fastachi was immensely frustrating, as Im sure you can imagine. Apparently the package was delivered a day late, but the Home says they dont know where it is. So while it seems it made it to the Home, its lingering in some wrong office there, rotting. All of which Im sure you find fascinating. The biggest beef I have with this small store is that THEY DO NOT RETURN CUSTOMERS PHONE CALLS, NO MATTER HOW IMPORTANT. I WOULD NEVER TRUST THEMT TO DELIVER AGAIN, AND NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WONT PATRONIZE SUCH AN INCOMPETENT STORE.

My first experience with Fastachis pistachios was incredible. They were huge, sweet and fresh. The best pistachios Id ever eaten. Worth their high price (get what you pay for?). Though my most recent experience was much different. Those pistachios were just average in size and taste. If my first experience was a 5+, my second was a 3 at best. Why the difference? Well, my first purchase was in March of 2017 and my last order was in December of 2017. A quick internet search showed pistachio harvesting generally takes place in February. If that is indeed the reason for the drop in quality, then my future Fastachis pistachios will be purchased in March. Well see what March of 2018 brings : )

Lived in Jerusalem for three years and the fresh roasted nuts are among the things I have missed most about the place. Fastachi is the sterile, American-health-board ruled version of what I miss.... no more sampling nuts myself out of a big pile of nuts still warm from the ovens in Machane Yehuda market or the nut roasters of Ramallah... but delicious nuts, corn nuts and nut mixes --at a very decent price and of very high quality to be found here from the Armenian owners.
