Let me start by saying that I have always gone to local hardware stores for all my needs and have never had a problem, besides in this location. My father came here to get a couple cans of paint and when he got home, he saw one of the cans was not sealed which ended up in us losing a can of paint. I went back to the store for him to let them know what happened and asked if I could have another can. He said yes and mixed it. He said nothing to me about paying for another one until he followed me to the front and told me i had to pay as i was walking out. He stated that the mixing machine is so air tight that there is no way the can opened unless my dad threw the box of cans in the car and it popped open. He also stated he walked my dad to the car but did not put the box in his car for him (guy in the paint section) I asked to talk to management and he proceeded to tell me the same thing and they would not give me a new can due to my father possibly throwing the cans in the car. My father then told me that the cashier in the front brought the box out for him and put it in the trunk. I went back in, verified with the cashier (who stated he nicely put it in the trunk and my father said the same) and I got a new can of paint. I am not one to write bad reviews but this rubbed me the wrong way and they were so dishonest it came off shady. Instead of asking the cashier if he assisted my father, and saving me over 30 minutes of my time, he decided to lie just to save the company a couple bucks and not possibly get in trouble. Not only did I have to basically beg for them to right their wrong but my father has paint all over his car and we have to pay for it to be cleaned and have mats replaced. I will never visit this dishonest location again.

I love Old Time family hardware and this was a good bet to have a good experience, but it wasnt to be. When I arrived there was already a customer waiting to make a key at the paint counter so, after looking to see if there was someone else in the aisles, I joined the line. 10 minutes later one of the people behind the paint counter said we could get our keys made by the girl out front. What girl I asked? The cashier he said. So the person in front of me in line got his key made and I left.

Probably one of the last full service mom and pops store they always have the hardware home Depot does not

Friendly, knowledgeable staff those are happy to answer questions and find someone who can if they dont know the answer. I did have a couple of keys made there that didnt work, but they re-cut them for free with no questions. Good customer service and very helpful people

Great Place! I bought paint from here and had a great experience HC-3 is a beautiful color, great suggestion by their staff. Friendly people and helpful, nice to see companies still employ people with experience in their fields. I went in and have asked not only paint questions, but I have asked about how or where to get hardware items. These guys always point me in the right direction. Need color samples not found in the sample pots? Go to Coolidge Hardware.

Ive been going to Coolidge for 20 years and there isnt a Hardware store Id rather go to. The employees and Manny the owner are great. Very knowledgeable and always friendly and helpful.

I had a problem with a lawn sprinkler today that I had no idea at all how to fix. So I took it and the hose to Coolidge Hardware asking for help. I assumed Id need to buy a new sprinkler, but they fixed the one I had -- figuring out a spring that had gotten unsprung -- and now it works perfectly. This is a wonderful and very helpful place.
