My wife drove the 50 miles to the store today. The attitude of the staff was to sell her the most expensive smart phone possible. She was looking for HELP. Her old flip phone died and she wanted to CONSIDER a very SIMPLE smart phone. With a professional geek son she only knew she wanted Android like the other two phones on her plan. Two of the staff was less than helpful sending her on a wild-goose chase to a defunct repair shop. We may well consider a different carrier.

The young lady who helped me was very helpful but I have inc on my phone they told if anything would happen to my phone its will be covered will thats not the case today I was told there is a fee to get my phone fixed i was never told that thats y got the inc so if anything happens it would get fix i have been with them for almost 20 years I always got the inc now they want to change me to fix my phone its called a Deduction and I never heard of a deduction when I pay every month for the insurance from my phone they have never told me nothing about a deduction intl my. Phone doesnt work right 😒

Would highly not recommend going through them I turned my auto pay off over 3 months ago they still tried to take money from my bank account 2 charges of almost 80 bucks and then I had to pay almost 80 bucks in over draft fees! Talked to a girl about it when I called she lied and told me she didn’t see any of the charges on her end so then I called back after speaking to my bank and talked to a different girl in the same night and some how she could see them. Very unprofessional.

I am seeing a lot of people who are unhappy with the service at this location. I would recommend that you go to the other location across town. Pine Tree Cellular is across from Goodwill and the people that work there are super helpful! The wait time is usually very minimal and they actually care about helping their customers!!!!

Careful. Apparently workers do not know how to put screen protectors on. Bought two XR and an IPad with taxes from two separate employees. Two of the three screen protectors are faulty. One has a hair stuck under it creating a permanent bubble. The other, a liquid screen protector apparently was never even put on as we’re getting scratches on our f’ing screen. Very annoyed. Not forthcoming about their professional experience or what they’re doing with your devices when you’re not physically supervising them.

Hit or miss on the quality and wait time. Press for time? Be assertive. I prefer Pinetree US Celluar for quality of visit, genuine regard for those they serve, working together to help you. They seem to enjoy what they do and help you solve even if it doesnt result in a sale for them. Wish I could say that for US Celluar on the Waterville Commons.

I cant believe anyone would be raving about the service they received from this location since they made all the big changes about a year ago. I have been in several times for upgrades, repairs and other service and have always had to put my name on the list and only once have I gotten to the top of that list in under 30 minutes. Knowing this, I needed to have a simple phone activation done so I called ahead and scheduled an appointment for 3:45 because I had to get back to school for my students promotion ceremony. I arrived on time, checked in and was told it would only be a minute but no one was available. A few minutes later another lady came in with no appointment and some other issue with her phone and was promptly serviced. She left, came back with a new complaint and was served again. Several people also paid some bills and other minor services. Finally, at 4:15, an elderly couple came in paid their bill and decided they needed an upgrade. The fella who took their payment quickly came from behind the counter to help them(commission?). At this point I spoke up and even the couple agreed he should take care of me first. Instead, he ran out back to try and get some girl on lunch break to give up the last 5 minutes of her lunch but she couldnt be bothered. So he told ME that I had to wait while he assisted the couple. I had made it clear when I called that I only had a few minutes and all I wanted was to have my phone activated, which he could have done while multi-tasking and accepting other peoples payments. I asked if there was another US Cellular store in town and at least he had the courtesy to give me directions to the other one. At 4:25 I left that corporate store and hit the independently owned store next to Goodwill. 10 minutes later I left with my phone activated and was able to make it back to the school for my students promotion ceremony. You would think a corporate location would be able to look at the data and see that the average customer wait time is far to long and adjust their staffing accordingly but I guess as long as people keep going there, theres no reason to change. Personally, there is no chance Ill be going back.

An hour and ten minute wait just to be helped. They sign you in, however they dont tell you an estimated wait time. Not want I wanted after a 12 hour work day myself. I will never go back.
