The staff were knowledgeable about product placement and sales. Customer service counter associate was pleasant, professional, & took care of my needs promptly, despite being be quite busy. Checkout associate was polite. I found a decent deal on a Rigid Shopvac.
Today was a two star day. I was at the Home Depot in Waukesha and had a cart full of moving boxes. I went into appliances because I wanted to purchase a refrigerator and microwave, a new washer and dryer and freezer.And because I wasn’t a couple, I was ignored. I chuckled. Because the last time this happened to me they lost out on a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher. Colders got my business. I guess they will again.
I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS! I used to work for a Home Depot and I have high expectations, but this particular Home Depot has some of the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I had my boyfriend call to order new doors for our house and he called 4 different times and was hung up on every single time. On the 5th call he asked to speak to a manager and even the manager did not help us. Instead said that his employee would get back to us. Its been 3 days and not a peep. We tried to call back and again it happened. I highly suggest to not use this Home Depot. AGAIN ZERO STARS! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wish we would have asked for the employees names. Totally unacceptable. I will not be shopping with Home Depot again after this. Menards here i come with my order. If you are looking into this Home Depot please also read some of the other reviews, as lately they have been lower in their ratings. Our experience doesnt seem to be a one time accident.
Went to this particular Home Depot to pick up an order. While going through the store to the Customer Service desk I noticed a vendor from Kettle Moraine Heating and Cooling. Prior to making it past his display table, he was stopping customers to inquire their heating and air conditioning needs, if they had any. Now mind you, all the customers he stopped were white. It just so happens that I am doing major renovations to my residence and was looking at getting a new heating system. As I waited for my order at the Customer Service desk, I continued to observe him at the display table. When I received my order, I walked passed the Kettle Moraine vending table. He did not ask me if I were looking to purchase an air conditioner or heater. I stopped, turned around, and engaged him in conversation. I asked him if it was because I was black that he did not engage me in a conversation? I informed him that a heating system is one of my many projects before the fall. I will seek another heating company.
Got a lawn mower blade. Had no clue about what I had to get.the guy there was super knowledgeable. Walked me thru what I needed to know and get.
Bought a refrigerator 3 weeks ago. They kept postponing the delivery date even though this product is in store. They kept lying about it and what the problem was. Yesterday I was told I would get it, I kept calling for updates cause I wasnt getting any. Finally at 6pm, I called and I was told delivery truck broke down. I needed a fridge so bad, I went to Menards and got one and it only took 8 minutes for the whole process. I will get my new fridge on Tuesday. The lies and deceit was just too much bu Home Depot..

I was a huge fan of Home Depot.. I repeat was,, Home Depot had professionals that actually gave you professional advise... Now most people at home depot just point and say.. Ya its in Aisle 13.. Somewhere on the right... Or left.. Or aisle 18.. On the left.... Basically.. No help... Oh and dont go on the weekend with nice weather.. Youll be there for 2 hours plus...
Mostly clean. Well marked aisles.Lighting is a bit dim in spots due to high shelving.As with most warehouse style stores, difficult to find assistance when needed.
Directions given to find the item that I was searching for was three aisles off. That was a lot closer than I couldve gotten. All good. Store clean, organized, well stocked, as always.

Went to home depots today for a length of cut and threaded black pipe. At the first two the pipe threading machine was broken. I called ahead to the 3rd one and they said the machine was fine. When I got there I was told there was no one who was certified to do the cutting and threading. Nice.

Garden center is well stocked and at fair prices. Plenty of staff to help answer questions. Plantings all looked healthy and watered.
So much better then the green competition building. Lots of help and friendly employees always around. Tool rental is easy. You have the freedom to choose if you want a mask or not.
I could not use my phone to pay here, I was just lucky I had some cash on me. Thats why from now on Ill go right across the street to Menards, I can use my phone to pay there. Why would they disable that option for customers? Also I can NEVER find anyone for assistance.

Always a great hardware store & one can usually & easily find any tool, part, material needed for a particular job. Home Depot also rents a good variety of large/specialty tools & machinery, as well as pickup trucks with large holding capacity in back.

They had more employees than Lowes. Their self-pay scanners work less often than they do work. Lowes has a middle door ao you dont have to walk clear over to the other side of the lot to get your car. HD does this so that you stay in the store longer and buy more stuff. They care more about selling things than convenience.
Had an excellent experience with Tom in the carpet department. They also rented us a van for $20 to transport the carpet home. The rental department had great help too!
This is, without a doubt, the most helpful bunch of people at a store that you’ll find, I’ve never had a negative experience their customer service is unbeatable And not only is everyone extremely helpful but also sweet as can be!
Great place friendly helpful staff that walk you over to the store area you werent able to locate. However I love there number and letter grid system it makes it easier for me to locate what I am looking to purchase. They are very covid-19 efficient in maintaining cleanliness.

This is kind of biased since I work here but we have great customer service and a pretty good inventory.
Normally my husband & I always had favorable thing to say about Home Depot. Not anymore, I dont know what has changed at Home Depot on Bluemound but their customer service is terrible. I went into get carpet and my first choice was a $2.37 per SQ ft carpet. I asked the guy at the carpet counter and said I needed that carpet put within the 10 days the side said. The guy said, I cannot do that carpet in the 10 days, those are ONLY for these carpet over on the other side. Of course the carpets on the other side were 2 x more expensive. So I ordered the more expensive carpet as I needed the carpet installed before my husband got out of the hospital. Well the 10 day install never happened & I went either over to the store or called several times. I spoke to the manager and all they gave was a $35 discount on the cost. Paying double for a higher priced carpet, all the inconvenience and headaches & only $35, is just not right.
One of the better Home Depots around. Expectations are low but in a pinch this is fine!
If you need a tool then get those sweet cheeks over to the Depot!

My wife and I came into their store this morning to look at cabinets and countertops and found it to be the worst customer service experience. We were in the cabinet and countertop department for 30 minutes and no one would help us. There was an older woman who stayed at her desk. First, on her computer and then on the phone. My wife finally asked her for help and she said she knew nothing about the cabinets. There was a man who entered the department. He never asked if we needed any help and just proceeded to talk on his phone. My wife tried to gain his attention to no avail . We left frustrated and disappointed especially, after making a complaint at the customer service desk and they were too, busy to care and laughed as we walked out.
I absolutely love Home Depot! They are very knowledgeable and dont mind taking the time to help those, like myself, that arent too savvy with DIY projects and tools. Great prices also!
This is my favorite HD location in the area. The store is clean and well-stocked, the employees are usually very helpful if you ask, and they never charge me when I need to get sheets of plywood cut down so they fit in my car. Much more logical layout and much more helpful staff than the Menards across the street.
I shop at Home Depot at least once a week and often twice a week. I own several rental properties in West Allis. They are awesome at Home Depot. The employees are super helpful and knowledgeable. I use their app on my phone to locate products quickly and easily. I also order products through their app and pick them up at the customer service desk. Its super convenient and their return policy is also very generous. I highly recommend Home Depot!
This review is for the manager Jacob. I had come in to the store regarding a warranty issue I was having with a ceiling fan I bought back in September online. We had it installed in our baby’s nursery in January and after three months it started rattling. I went through all the steps with homedepot.com, getting shuffled around to different people/departments, going through their 3rd party service line, had the electrician come back and try to make the adjustments they recommended (after a long covid related delay, all the time barely being able to use it for its intended purpose bc it would intermittently start that loud rattle and wake her during the night), and when that didn’t work, they told me my only other option was to mail it at my expense to California to see if it was the motor.At this point I decided to go into the store and talk to someone face-to-face about it. Jacob was the manager on duty at the time. He listened to my whole story, explained to me the difference between Home Depot.com and the actual Home Depot stores, looked up my order number and the warranty associated with the ceiling fan, and was able to on the spot find a solution to my issue. He sent me out with a replacement ceiling fan in less than 15 min. After I had literally been getting the runaround from Home Depot.com for months! I was so grateful. I have not gotten such good customer service from any place in a long time. I will 100% be purchasing things in store versus online whenever possible, and specifically will be coming to this store.
I go there pretty frequently, I like the options and choices for what I want to buy. All the staff maintains the COVID protection with face masks and surface cleaning.

There are really helpful employees in each department, and they’ll even cut piping or wood for you at the store to help transporting it home. Curbside pickup is quick and efficient and great for when you can’t go in the store.
So much for Home Depot matching competitions prices!!We were in there this evening and they wouldnt match Menards or Amazons price on identical product, even same model # Last year we spent well over six figures there, I guess time to reconsider and buy elsewhere!!

Stocked pretty well; toliet paper but no paper towels. . Cleaning spray but no cleaning wipes.. Big, clean store, but no great deals anywhere. Didnt see any clearance items, coupons, or rebates. Nothing negative about this store; I just wouldnt go out of my way to shop here.
Home Depots are great. You can check their website and see if your local has what you need and where to find it in the store. They open early and close late. Other big boxes should take their cues and follow suit.
I went for help in cutting a piece of wood for under my counter. Cullen was so helpful and patient with me. He cut it to the size I needed. As a senior citizen I truly appreciate the extra help, smile and kindness. We need more of this in the world. Thank you!

Ive had two major appliances purchased and delivered through Home Depot - and the employees, delivery men, and online customer support have been WONDERFUL. This last time, I ordered the wrong appliance (totally my fault) and yet everyone I worked with to fix it was so accommodating. Based on my experience, when it comes to all the other major home improvement stores, Home Depot will be the only one I shop.

Ive had a few bad experiences here but with how often I go its not suprising. my last bad experience is as follows: Well... I would say I had a miserable trip to Home Depot. The employees were unhelpful and wasted significant time being stubborn refusing to comprehend the current sale that was going on. I showed them the different prices when I created a duplicate order. I got so frustrating with their inability to comprehend the current special and give me a refund on the price difference. I ended up just canceling my order and replacing it. I lost about two weeks on the delivery date of the appliances which is annoying, its like getting penalized for wanting to get price matched.Id you are considering buying appliances from home depot please please please consider other options.

In some of their product categories they have great selections and other product categories such as shelving they dont have as good of a selection.
2 guys in flooring were more interested in sitting down and talking to eachother than helping customers. Gave very vague answers to push people away so they could keep talking

I used to shop at menards... until today. Today I was required at the door put on a mask, and if I didnt have one they would sell 1 to me for a dollar! I said if you are going to require me to wear a mask, you should supply one! I said Ill go and shop at home depot instead. Home depot is now my new store!

Home Depot had the flowers my wife wanted to plant, and they did control the flow of people...mostly. We did see a number of people push their carts of flowers right past the Do Not Enter sign, and past the employee standing guard, just so they didnt have to push their carts around to the store entrance. Also, not all employees wear masks either, just so you know before you go. But it seemed better at social distancing than some other places in Brookfield....
Decent home depot. Staff was a little better at answering questions. Usually I can never find anyone to help and when i do, they dont seem attentive and would rather be doing something else.

Terrible was told I would get a 10 %military discount based on a customer satisfaction since the john deere tractor and attachments I wanted to buy would not allow a military discount.Then when the clerk rang everything up the discount was not applied.I was told the manager had a change of heart.I cancelled the order and left.will probably shop else and close out my account.Will also let all my military friends know what happened(some are contractors).Thanks Home Depot.
