I have recently relocated from Dayton, Ohio and today had the joy of experiencing this TREASURE of a candy shoppe in downtown Waukesha! My best friend and I stopped in on a whim and we are beyond thrilled that we did! We each purchased a variety of hand made chocolates and treats! These indulgent delights are something you NEED to experience! The shop was warm and welcoming and Mary was so helpful and patient as we took our time picking out our chocolates! Can’t wait to send some back home for the holidays! Can’t wait to come!

Nice Small Chocolate shop in downtown Waukesha. The store is always clean and employees are always welcome and friendly. The chocolates and ice cream is delicious recommend coming here if you haven’t.

My son got me dark chocolate turtles in the regular and sea salt . He’s been getting turtles at Sees and Ultimate Confections. And of course I get them from wherever whenever. These were by far the best. No skimping on the amount of caramel and the layer of dark chocolate. The pecans were perfect. More please!

We love this store, and come every few weeks. I love the employees and the atmosphere. Will keep coming back!

I won’t lie, I was overwhelmed by these prices of candies at this store. Having said that, I came in 3 weeks before Valentine’s Day to buy truffles, I didn’t know if they were gonna be worth $35 for a box of 10-12. Man, I was wrong. That was so worth it!!! Since then, my fiancé who I bought the truffles for will only eat truffles from this place. Also they last a long time, the employee I worked with said to store them in a cold dark place and I did. I will definitely come back here!!

Allo! Chocolate makes some of the best chocolate products Ive ever had. Ive been coming here for multiple years and have never had a bad experience with their store or their products.

If you love chocolate this is heaven! So much to choose from! I went to buy a couple of chocolate covered strawberries but they were out. The woman behind the counter made me two of them on the spot. Theres also a variety of old time candy. Lovely place.

Prices can seem a little high, but the selection is unique. If you are looking for an assortment that you cannot get from chain stores, this is definitely the place!

So many delicious chocolate options. If our kid gets a big treat, its here.We moved to waukesha and met some neighbors who had lived here for a whole but never spent time downtown - this was the first place we took them and now they are hooked too!

Friendly and helpful staff! They helped my put together a wonderful custom Valentines Day basket. There was great care when making the basket-they really care about their customers. The chocolate and candy selection is high quality and delicious!

Used to be a great and friendly environment when the old owners had it. Now the new owners messed up the shop. The store is always a mess, things are never stocked. The outfits the girls wear now dont look appealing.They used to always dress up but not anymore. Someone was in sweat pants. The store used to have a warm welcoming feel with such great and warm faces. Under new owners they dont care about customers. Seem as if they only care about receiving money. Its really sad the downtown is going down. I dont recommend going here unless you want a bad experience.

This place is SIMPLY Delirious

This is one of my favorite shops! It is completely charming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The selection is amazing (confections and old fashioned candy). The chocolate is DELICIOUS! My personal favorites are the chocolate covered graham crackers. Mmmm!

A bit pricey, but worth it. Great variety of chocolates and sweets. Definitely worth a visit or two! I went with my mom (as im only a teen) and she clicked with the cashier and managed a long conversation. Boring for me, having to stand through my moms conversation, but good to know the staff is easy to talk to and very friendly!

New ownership and cases were kinda on the empty side. I used to drive an hour for this place, but unless I have another reason to be in the area Im not sure it is still worth the drive. I will definitely give it another shot before the end of the summer, but wont be making any special trips just for this place.

Delicious chocolatiers! Weve gotten an assortment box a few times now...tiramisu chocolate, irish coffee, dark chocolate with nuts, little kitty shaped chocolates, chocolate covered orange...can u tell we like chocolate? They have great gifts too for teachers, police, hairdressers etc. Really nice shop.

Wonderful! Arranged a girl scout program here with our 2nd and 3rd grade Brownie troop. There is a variety of scout programs to choose from- we chose the one that earns the girls their official Senses badge. All of the Allo Chocolat staff I talked to was friendly and helpful. They have 3 program teachers with different hours, so it was fairly easy to coordinate a time to meet. Since our drive there was 30-40 minutes (depending on traffic), our teacher (Susan) said she would be flexible in our start time. Since we had never been there before, she emailed us directions and detailed information on where to park and where the classroom was (its around the corner from their storefront). Thanks to that information, we found it easily.Susan was a fantastic teacher and the chocolate was wonderful. (She let us leaders sample it too). After the girls compared and contrasted the different kinds of chocolate, the girls hand-dipped a variety of sweet and salty foods in 3 different kinds of chocolate, choosing which items they wanted to dip in each kind of chocolate. The girls were thrilled. In addition to what the girls sampled there, each girl came home with a sealed bag of the treats that they had made.I would definitely recommend the programs here. They are not only for scouting troops. You can pull together 10 people (the minimum) or more and have a unique birthday party, girls night, after-work social event, etc. Or you can just buy something in their store- even though I have my favorite kids, everything looks great.

Discovered them after purchasing a Groupon, absolutely terrific. After having their truffles, sorry Godiva, but theyve got you beat hands down! Their chocolate covered strawberries...HUGE, and the raspberries, yum. It is a gem in the heart of Waukesha.
