I recently sold two of my daughters prom dresses through this store. The owner sold each one of them within a week and I was paid right away! Very pleased. Highly recommend as a consignor.

Small but quaint boutique with great customer service. Tucked away from the main Bluemound shopping offerings. Consignment or sell your things as well. Had a great selection of prom dresses. Prices range to around $100 up to $500. Had no idea this is what proms become lol. Had a lovely assistant that kept taking dresses off our hands to place in our dressing room for when we were ready. They made it a fun experience!

Super cute hidden gem!! Had soooo many dresses to choose from in a variety of price ranges. Owner was so very sweet and helpful when I was there. Her employee Emma was so helpful and so sweet as well. The two of them made it a great experience. I will definitely go back for my senior prom dress next year!!

Dresses were nice but over priced and the owner was very rude. I asked about a shorter dress because I saw it on the website and she said dont you see its prom season. I understand if shes busy but it wouldve been nice if she gave me an alternative or asked me to come another day. Over all rude and wont be coming again.

At first I liked this place and was happy to drop off my prom dresses. It went wrong when I missed the pick up date by five days, which will be explained in the pictures. I called a couple days after the pickup up date due to extreme circumstances and when the owner answered she took my name and said she would call back. She never ended up calling, which i understand because i’m sure she was busy. After she didn’t call back I sent an email to the email on her bussiness card, no answer. I called multiple times and still received no answer, and even left a voicemail. I will attach the email and calls below. today when she informed me that she donated my $300 dress. When I gave her my name she said my dress was probably donated but never went somewhere to look, and online it says it was sold.update: i can’t upload pictudes but this was the email “ Hello this is Halle Peterson emailing you about my dress, my code is PE23. My pick up date was 5/10-5/15. I was been out of town in Minnesota the past 2-3 weeks taking care of my grandma. She was in the hospital having surgery to remove and tumor off her liver. I should have emailed or called you sooner saying I wouldn’t be able to make it, but things were crazy at the time. I just got home yesterday and was wondering if the dress sold or what the best time would be to come get it? Sorry for the inconvenience.”I had proof of the calls but can’t upload them, but i called 7 times and left a voicemail.

I dont think I ever bought anything here, but when I was in high school I worked here for one day. The owner literally left me by myself from open to close and I was in *high school*. I was literally crying the entire day because I was so overwhelmed. And I never returned because I was traumatized and she never contacted me to see if I could get paid without coming back. So yeah, I didnt even get paid. But by the looks of some of the comments here, others have had issues with the owner as well. Unfortunate, since the store itself isnt bad.

Awesome selection and prices if looking for something for a special occasion or just for fun.

I bought my prom dress from here a while ago and I gave it back to be resold and it never sold and if you dont pick it up the owner says it will get donated but it doesnt. My sister visited recently and sent me a picture of my dress that is still there and has been since I turned it in. Its not a common dress ans not a name brand and if I would have known this is I would have kept my dress and donated it myself.

Beautiful store tucked away in a Gorgeous setting. The boutique is adorable with plenty to choose from. I was looking for a long formal dress and found one with a Adorable little clutch purse to match. Price was extremely reasonable. The owner and staff were top notch and extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to help me look so elegant ! Cute little setting for this store. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The prices on the dresses were a bit too high for a consignment store. If you are an average or smaller size young lady, you will have a much better selection of dresses and a wider range of prices.

Way to expensive for being a thrift store, I walked in then left within 2 minutes. Not impressed.

I am giving this review in hopes to save someone the headache I experienced with this crooked “business owner”. Would NOT recommend going here to anyone. I took several dresses here and She completely ripped me off. When I started to get the feeling that something wasn’t ethical about the “business” she was running I called to get my dresses back and she refused to give them to me and then proceeded to say “they didn’t sell” (without giving me any proof of this being true) so she went ahead and “donated them”. During this phone call she hung up on me at least three times in her anger. We reported her to the better business bureau and am extremely disappointed to see that she is still in business. Do NOT trust this business.

If I could rate this a zero I would. My daughter and I stopped in this weekend looking for a prom dress. She had found a beautiful gown at another store, but wanted to look some more. On our way in we heard a girl outside the store saying how ridiculous the prices were. We decided to see for ourselves. That girl was right! The prices were insane for second hand dresses, a large number of which had missing beads. My daughter overheard the staff making snippy coments to another customer, but kept it to herself. At this point I was losing interest in this store, but if my little girl wanted a dress I was going to make sure she got it, even if I had to repair it myself. When my daughter was asked if she could be helped with anything, she sadly replied no thank you everything is too expensive.( She told me later that she didnt want to buy anything from such rude people) As we were leaving the woman said goodbye and laughed at us. We gladly returned to the first store and purchased a gorgeous ball gown with twice the beading, no hanging strings, and for half the price. Next time try being a little more polite.

Can l rate this place a minus zero. Very rude and very snobby . The (owner?? ) working with us made my daughter and l feel very uncomfortable. And my daughter overheard her make an inappropriate comment to one of the girls in the fitting room. So not right, and would never go back.

I dropped off a prom dress for resale. The process from start to finish was unprofessional. I was made to wait and treated as though I was inconveniencing the store owner when dropping off the dress. The only paperwork given was a business card with my dress id and a date noting how long the dress would remain for sale. It was my responsibility to call to see if the dress had sold, which I did on a regular basis. When calling the day after the date on my business card, I was told the dress was given to a charity the day before. Although this was never mentioned to me and my daughter, who was with me at the time of drop off, the store owner insisted she had told me. I was simply told by the business owner that she tells everyone and she is sure she must have told me too. As noted earlier, it was busy in the shop the day we dropped off the dress, I had to wait a long time to speak with the owner and there were others waiting as well. Neither my daughter or I have any recollection of being told the dress would be given to charity on the date noted on the business card. I believe this to be a detail we would have remembered. In response to my aggravation, the business owner told me you should be happy, it went to a good cause. This is true, however, I feel I believe it is the responsibility of the business owner to disclose this to her clients at the time of drop off so the client can decide if they would like to keep the dress or give it to charity. As a business owner myself, I believe this type of information should be given to a customer in writing at the time the resale contract is established.

One of the best consignment shops! The owner is so kind and willing to help anyone find their perfect outfit or accessories. The shop specializes in womans clothing, prom dresses, homecoming dresses, ball dresses, shoes, purses, and accessories. The shop is so clean, tidy, and has very welcoming environment.

Thanks to Savvy Seconds, I will be able to enjoy my first fancy dance feeling like a princess! I could not have any more appreciation for the amazing service I received. I will definitely be returning for any needs I have, and will recommend it with enthusiasm.

Honestly the girls there are SO COOL and they helped quite a bit when I needed to have my dress sleeves better fitted. A great place not only to get a great dress but also to have a fun time while doing it!

I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. Even had to ask for an exception to the return policy due to extenuating circumstances, and was granted that request. She held a dress that we wanted for us so that we could get it later that evening, even though I know she could have said good luck.

Customer service is very good Savvy Seconds - called before I went in to make sure they are open for consignment hours, the sales person on the phone was very helpful and gave me all the details. When I went in the store I was greeted and helped right away, the only issue was that I needed help selling some dresses and the policy is if the clothes don’t sell they are donated to charity instead of returned to customer the only items returned are for value over $100. I decided to consign couple of my dresses but not all as some were expensive. Again the service was friendly and information provided upfront. Will consign with this store again for sure.

If I could give 0 stars I would! very unprofessional place to go! She doesnt make any calls, you have to constantly call to see if your items have sold. I had a prom dress there, I came in on my day of pick up and she had taken it to her house a week earlier, forgetting I had a later pick up normally she donates stuff that doesnt sell and isnt picked up, I was lucky she didnt donate my prom dress that is worth $300! (or should I say, SHES lucky?!) When I went in to get it and she said it was at her house, I left and later called and said I would like to pick it up instead of having her keep it and putting it out in January (this happened in May) she told me that she didnt have time to look through 30 dresses to find it and then got an attitude when I basically told her oh well, I want my dress she told me she was the one trying to do me a favor and she didnt want to keep my dress anyways. She told me shed call me when she found it. Week went by and I still hadnt heard anything so I left a message asking if she could have it there for me to pick up. Still no call, I had to call AGAIN and she luckily had it. When I walked in to the store she didnt say a word to me, made some rude comments to someone working there, asked me to sign something and that was that. I will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend her shop to anyone. Unorganized, unprofessional, and childish are words I would use to describe this establishment.

Traveled an hour n 30 mins to check this place out! Had a great experience today, probably tried on 25 dresses and had to pick out of 9 good ones!! So much selection, so many choices, Just simply amazing & oh... Lynn is fantastic!

Do not go here!!! They have beautiful name brand dresses and huge selection but extremely over priced! You could buy the same dress new for a few dollars more. I brought in dresses to be consigned, they didn’t sell . Owner gave me less than 24 hours to pick up dresses or she was going to donate them. Extremely RUDE, I would never solicit this business ever again. The owner is a rude crook. I did not have sufficient time to pick up my dresses so I lost a lot of money to this lady.

DO NOT BUY HERE IF YOU ARE FOR GENDER EQUALITY! The owner of the store, whispered to one of the customers, “Why is there a guy looking at dresses here”. I spoke up and said, “that is my boyfriend who is just helping me find a dress I liked”. A couple minutes later the Women who owned the store told me that a guy was trying on dresses the other day and she told him he could try dresses on here but only after hours. This was very wrong for the store owner to do and say not to mention how unprofessional that was to do so! Someone needs a news flash its 2018!!!!!!

They have tons of dresses. If you are a size 2,3, or4 they selection is largest for you. Check it out for sure. Owner was very helpful!

I, too, had an experience like several other reviews. Brought some very nice professional clothes in, left them there, but I did not hear back about them for weeks. When I called, they had been donated. I had given the option to donate, but the lady said NONE had been accepted and were donated from the get-go. Huh? Ineffective communication. Nice clothing displays, but the owner might be overwhelmed.

A cool way to shop for a prom dress, but it will still cost you. As long as you are a small size, youll have lots of options - including poofy dresses. It seems the owner tries to keep up with styles but still have some different items in stock as well.

I bought my prom dress there a week or so ago and had such a great experience! Although the owner was super busy, she still gave me personal assitance. In addition, I went dress shopping very late in the season and she still had a very wide selection which was awesome! I was able to get everything I needed; the perfect dress, shoes, and a free pair of earrings! It was a very nice and welcoming effort because of the owners hardwork!

Very organized, excellent selection and very personal service a home run

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a second hand shop. I brought in 5 of my prom and homecoming dresses which were brand name including Sheri hill, jovani or la femme. The owner of the shop took them all and was very excited because she told me that they would all sell right away. She said that a few of them did and I got the money for them, but she said 3 of them did not and instead of giving them back to us (like she said she would) or giving me the money for them, she took my 3 brand name dresses that she said did not sell, but were not in the shop and never gave them back, and I never saw a single cent from any of them. I have tried to call, but when someone does answer, they say that they have no documentation of the transaction. DO NOT give this place your dresses to sell. They are VERY unorganized and you could end up losing hundreds of dollars like I did.

Personally, Ive always had great experiences at Savvy Seconds. I found the perfect prom dress within only a couple weeks before prom, the selection is unlimited and includes super cute styles; prom dresses and womans clothing too! The owner will put all personal tasks aside to help anyone who walks through the door and always does her best to make sure every last customer leaves satisfied! Its sad to think there are people who dont acknowledge these great, professional traits she owns and only want to write a review about the bad experience some people unbelievably have that the customers will bring upon themselves. The consignment rules are simple to follow, yet some people are too incompetent to understand and abide by said rules. But besides the obvious, Savvy Seconds is a great store run by a wonderful owner! :)

If possible, I would give no stars. This woman is beyond rude, unprofessional, and COMPLETELY disorganized. She has had our dress for MONTHS and simply every time we call, she cant seem to find it. Always asks for extra time to go through her mountain of paperwork, and TWO MONTHS AFTER CONTRACT ended, STILL is not able to find this dress. Do NOT bother doing business with this ill-mannered person, you will find yourself totally dissatisfied with her so called business.

Savvy Seconds Consignment shop in Brookfield has the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. What small business owner hangs up on a customer 3 times!?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING ANYTHING TO THEM EVER!!! OFFERED NO HELP IN TELLING ME IF THE PROM DRESSES THEY HAVE HAD SINCE MAY HAVE SOLD! And after reading other reviews they just donate them if you dont pick them up. They also dont call you to tell you if they sold. Rudely and unprofessionally tells me shes busy, doesnt even offer to call me back, just hangs up on me. Tells me to call during the week even though they havent answered their phone in months!! AWFUL REPRESENTATION OF CONSIGNMENT SHOPS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS!!!

I also had a not so savvy experience with this store and its owner. You are made to be responsible for contacting the store to see if the items have sold in order to be paid for, or choose to pick up if they are not selling, the items you have left. The store however did not return multiple messages left with my name, customer number and phone number requesting a status update and as a result I was told the items must have been donated when I finally went to the store, after being unable to reach them, just after the 90 days cutoff. (I had to pull my phone out and review the call history to confirm that I had in fact called the store as I claimed when the store owner said she simply had not received any of the messages Id left on the stores voicemail.) I would not recommend and will not return.Update: The owner called after I left, apologized and said she thought she still had my items, and would check and get back to me that Saturday and let me know. She called on Tuesday instead but did say she had the items and even offered to meet somewhere closer to where I live if it would be more convenient. Not a great overall experience but I very much appreciate that she called to apologize and got them back me.

DO NOT SEND YOUR DRESS TO THIS STORE! Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS if you plan on consigning your dress! I, like several others, have had a HORRIBLE experience with the owner. She is a crook, extremely unprofessional, and most importantly, very very rude.I came in to the store to pick up two dresses that were on consignment. I entered the store and from the get go she was nothing but rude. I told her the account number, showed her my ID and described the dresses I was there to pick up. After several rude remarks and a couple times of her rolling her eyes at me, I became irritated with her behavior towards me as a customer. She then proceeded to tell me that I couldnt pick up the dresses because it was my mother that had originally dropped them off despite me being able to give her my mothers correct name, phone number, and account number and it was clear that the addresses and phone numbers were the same. She did inform me that, last year I sent someone home with someone elses dress. As if it was my fault that she is so unorganized that she cant keep her merchandise straight. Clearly I was not attempting to take someone elses dress.I then asked if she could call my mother to get consent for pickup, to which she replied I cant call her, I have no idea who is on the other end of that phone. I then told her that my mother DID indeed call her yesterday and left a message, and nobody ever called her back regarding the dresses. At this point she began to get very irate with me and her poor attitude got even worse. She then said, FINE, whats her phone number?! and I told her. She called my mother and was also VERY rude to her. In short, she first told my mom she had no record of her ever calling and that she never got a voicemail, then she checked her records and did indeed receive that call with no return message. To this, she snapped, well we were busy yesterday, its just one day, its not that big of a deal! Is this how you handle customers when they call about THEIR items? Its not a big deal to call them back?! You dont owe them that respect?! It was hilarious to watch her pathetic attempt to convince my mother and I that her store was so busy that nobody could return a phone call that day. She then hung up on my mother. I have never seen an owner act so unprofessional and disrespectful to a customer in my entire life. From the moment I walked in to the store, she had an attitude with me. Even as I left the store, the last thing she yelled at me as I was walking out of the store was dont let the door hit you on your way out!BOTTOMLINE: If I could take stars away, I would, but please, if you are thinking of bringing your dress to this store, reconsider. Its not worth the headache to try get your dress back. At least we got both of them back but the drama to get them is not worth it!Shes super willing to take your money if youre looking for a prom dress, but has a really hard time giving you your money/merchandise back! THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE...I took several things here for consignments and agreed to pickup whatever did not sell after time given and when it came time I called and the woman in charge said she donated remaining stuff and I didnt have a check because in terms weeks aloud to sell it havent sold anything. .. I was confused because I took alot of stuff and for not one thing to sell and for her to tell everyone she donated my stuff before the proper time allowed to pick up, I thought something wasnt right so I drove there only to walk in and all her again in person with my printed ite.list in hand... She continued to tell .even llol you stuff was gone so I started to look around and sure enough found almost everything on my list ( like 10 items) high end dresses, shirts and a few handbags... And when I showed her my stuff and that it was on my list she blamed it on her staff sayin they were young and stupid and didnt do anything right..... I was completely in shock by tissue as Ive been doing consignment for years at various places and since I worked near by tissue place I thought I would give it a try.. Never again!! This woman is a crook and she not honest. . I normally dont leave reviews especially a negative one but I would hate for someone else to get stolen from like me.... Good luck!

Its a cute store. Thats about it. Ive shopped a gazillion consignment shops and also know people personally that own one. Consignment is meant to be discounted.... not practically paying almost the same price as you would in the store. Especially if the items have been worn several times!A few days before, I had stopped at 1 consignment shop and bought brands of Loft, Michael Kors, The Limited, Splendid, Seven For All Mankind.The 7s were brand new and I had only paid $25 for them. I own over 15 pairs of 7s and they are my fav brand. I noticed 7s here and price was over $60!! Joes Jeans I noticed as well, priced over $60 too. Miss Me over $70 & up.The other items I bought previously were in style, almost brand new and my total for 1 pair of jeans and 5 tops was under $75!!If your looking for some good deals on designer clothing, this is not the place to go. While the interior and exterior are very cute, the prices are wayyyyyy to high.Customer service isnt great either. The lady was on the phone talking extremely loud about serious health conditions in great detail that should never be discussed or announced publicly for the whole store to hear. I work in healthcare. Private issues of that natureshould be blatantly simple.... Private!Very, very unprofessional!!Again if your looking for designer clothing at amazing prices, you will definitely NOT find it here! Way overpriced!!

Pros: cute shop, seemed like lots of nice dressesCons: the owner was extremely unprofessional when we came in to drop off gowns (taking personal calls while we were at the counter, etc.) as well as on the phone when I called about pick up. The pick up date is NOT flexible. (Heads up: I was told my gowns would be donated on that day if I was unable to come...I ended up having the work late.) While I understand the policy, being rude to customers is never appropriate. I also had trouble once when I called to check if any of my dresses had been sold (an employee telling me she didnt think they did but she wasnt sure?)Overall, if youre looking to buy, give it a try.If youre looking to sell, avoid the headache. This place only managed to sell one of my dresses during peak prom season anyways (and I made next to nothing for it.) Sell on facebook or craigslist!
