Metropolitan did an excellent job on our fence. Tim (the sales rep) was easy to work with, up front, and responsive to my communications. Francisco and his crew worked hard to get the job done, kept me updated on their progress, and in the end, installed a beautiful fence. I couldn’t ask for much more. Thanks Metropolitan! We are so pleased with our black chain link fence. Mike and his crew at Metropolitan Fence are fantastic. Were a church preschool in Brookfield and Mike took the time to listen to our needs for a fence for an Outdoor Learning Center, suggesting what we needed based on his experience with other churches and play areas. Mike and his crew installed our fence in one day and right on time as promised. Mike was in communication from my first inquiry call until after the fence was installed. Nothing but amazing things to say about this company. The owner was an expert on fence codes in the Milwaukee area and gave me great recommendations on fence layout for our not so standard backyard. The crew that came out to install were all very professional, friendly and did an incredible job. I’ve already had multiple neighbors come over to comment on the great fence quality. I had spoken to multiple fence companies prior to booking, and I am extremely happy with my decision to book with Metropolitan fence.

Mike is absolutely outstanding. We were in a bind in getting a chain link fence raised up to code and he was there to help at every turn. Final product looks 100% better than it did and we are good to go with the State!!! Would not hesitate to use him!!!

With respect, these other reviews don’t share the experience I had. The owner personally came to my new house and sized it up- provided my wife and I an ornamental fencing options and pricing. My experience from start to finish was best in class. Plus the finished work was premium and completed immaculately. Without the crazy pricing I saw with many other fence companies. This would be the absolute best place to go to in order to understand your fencing needs- and match it up with budget/style - there no way you won’t be impressed with Metro fence here.Thank you!!

Tim was very helpful throughout the whole process and was always willing to answer the many questions I had. I am so happy that I chose Metropolitan Fence to put in a chain link fence in my backyard. They were very professional and my fence looks great. The crew that came out to install the fence was very nice and they made sure everything looked perfect even with a hill in my backyard. I highly recommend them to anyone else that needs a small or large fence installed.

I just had my black vinyl chain link fence installed and could not be happier with the outcome. The onsite crew was amazing and on their 2nd day, they worked hard all day in the rain. Every interaction I had with them they were pleasant and professional. They worked hard all day and cleaned everything up when they left. I had gotten quotes from 5 different companies. They came in right in the middle with a good price. Our fence looks fantastic and Im so glad I went with Metropolitan Fence!

Metropolitan Fence is hands-down the best. They installed 2 beautiful decorative aluminum pool fences for some friends of ours and now it was our time for an aluminum pool fence! Mike was terrific to work with- very responsive and went beyond the call of duty (way beyond) to expedite our great looking bronze aluminum fence. Frisco, one of the installers was excellent to work with as well and paid attention to every detail (we are on the picky side). We couldnt be happier with our new Pool fence from Metropolitan!

Mike and his team were great. They fenced in our new in-ground pool and it turned out better than we even hoped. When we originally met with Mike we wanted a certain style of fence design but after reviewing our pool plans, property, etc. Mike suggested another style fence because he thought it would be safer, more secure and look better with the rest of our landscaping, house and pool design (and it was about the same price as the one we were thinking about) and he was absolutely correct. Plus, our pool installation was moved up in the builders schedule by several weeks at the last second but Mike adjusted his schedule as best as he could to accommodate our needs. We couldnt be happier and recommend him to anyone needing a fence.

Metropolitan was absolutely great to work with! They got to our property earlier then expected, set the posts, then completed nailing the fence 3 days after. It look amazing and the cost was cheaper then other estimates we received! The guys on tbe crew were great too. Super hard workers that were accommodating and polite!

I would not recommend this company. Tim G. is rude, unprofessional and incompetent. I received two other fence quotes. Metropolitan Fence had the best price. The price was only good because he measured my yard wrong. I didn’t realize something was wrong until they came to install the fence and they were cutting across and through the garden and trees and half way through the yard. They showed me the measurements. Told them to call Tim because it was all wrong. He came over and we went over it again and he realized he grossly measured the yard wrong. It was bad. They got the measurements corrected and proceeded. He text me at almost midnight advising it was our fault. Also that the price would be about $1,000 more. He would not admit he made a mistake. Blamed us as if we stretched the yard out after he left. Very rude about it. We ended up paying slightly more for his mistake. Extremely disgusted with them and would never do business with them. I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

Mike, TIm and Crew are AMAZING! I have never had such a easy breezy experience in my life. These guys were incredible. When I wasnt sure about what fence to go with and where exactly to put it, they gave suggestions and were very patient with me and helped guide me and gave me reasons why they had the thought they did. The crew who installed the fence were remarkable. They were kind, patient explained everything they were doing from putting in the post to putting in the fence. I have to tell you that I was NOT home when all this was done. It was via phone and I only met Tim twice and the crew once. They did above and beyound my thoughts. Thank you Mike Tim and Crew for an OUTSTANDING job. I am highly recommending you to everyone I know.

It was the week before Christmas, and our neighbors, and friends of 23 years, had the police tell us that if our dogs went up to their fence (on our side of the fence) they would shoot them. It was an emergency situation requiring a fence, but it was Saturday, and all the fence companies were closed. It was also the beginning of winter, another reason they were closed. We left a message for Metropolitan, but did not expect a response. First thing Monday morning, Mike was on the phone to see what we needed. The next day he was in our back yard, and two days later, the poles for more than 200 feet of fencing went in. Then the temps fell. For more than two weeks the temps were deeply below zero. We did not expect the fence to go in until March at the earliest. Yesterday, the first day of temperate weather, the crew pulled in the driveway at 9 am. They are such wonderful guys. They worked diligently as a team, and in less than four hours we had a fence and gate completed. Knowing our dogs are safe, and the project completed in record time means the world to us. Who knew a simple chain link fence could bring comfort and joy. Thank you. Thank you.

Met with Mike about installing my fence. He was timely, extremely friendly and I look forward to working with them on my installation. Came highly recommended by my neighbor who after 10 years loves their fence and felt their product and workmanship were the best !Update - Fence installed, couldnt be happier. Did above and beyond their job by trimming some trees that were in the way of the fence. Couldnt be happier with the job done. My husband and I have been extremely pleased with Metropolitan Fence. We have worked with them for many years and have always had their complete word. They installed an ornamental gate with power operator for us at our house in Mequon to make our front entrance look outstanding. The guys were always on time and their workmanship was simply excellent. Metropolitan Fence also went the extra mile to help us find a contractor to put in our beautiful brick columns. Met with owner and discussed options of materials to do a small fence job. Compared vinyl material, composite fence materials, and cedar materials. Ordered steel posts and cedar boards, for easy pickup in Waukesha, WI. All materials were A1. Saved a ton of time from picking through boards at Menards or Home Depot. Upon completion, owner took back extra post and boards without question or hassle. Will use them again if I ever need to do another fence project, I will use Metropolitan Fence as my supplier.

Had a scheduled appointment with them and they showed up 30min late with attitude. I explained that I need to do this quick becosue I had appointments and he did not acknowledge me. I asked him if he was upset that he was late and he said he did not need this and left. Extremely rude. Sure they do great work and I feel bad this went down this way but a sorry and yes lets get this done quick for you would have fixed all this!

Put up fence with posts about 2” too far apart so vinyl fence did not fit properly leaving gaps that you can peep threw. After fence was up asked them to come back and adjust gates that were misaligned and would not do even when I agreed to their $300 trip charge. If I had a do over I would choose someone else.

Grate guys

We were in a situation where we had to fire our prior contractor and urgently needed a fence put up to protect our kids from the new pool that was put in the month prior. After calling 19 fence companies, I finally spoke to Mike at Metropolitan and he was very friendly and informative on the phone. He said he was booked through most of the summer, just like the other companies I called, but he could possibly squeeze us in. Not sure if he felt sorry for me or if he’s just that genuine of a good day (probably both) but he actually came out to look at our yard that evening. We signed the contract a few days later and not even two weeks had passed before he had his crew out to our house putting up the fence. WOW! The crew was professional, easy to communicate with and took the extra time to measure everything out so there were no mistakes. After the fence was up, we had a concern over how low the safety latches were and Mike sent the guys back to our house the very next day to raise the latches. In the end, we LOVE our new fence and are so grateful that we stumbled upon Mike over at Metropolitan Fence.
