I have gone here for my second vehicle many years ago. The service then was great. The service now is phenomenal still. I worked with Dave and every time I came here, he was able to meet my needs and get me into a vehicle I loved each time. I’m going to continue to come here for vehicles! There’s no other places like Kocourek I would shop at!
On July 27, My wife brought my Ford F150 in for an oil change, tire rotation and to have them look at a tire that had been leaking. An hour later, the work was completed. My wife paid the bill and then headed home. The next morning, I got into the truck, and the low tire pressure light was on again. I called, and let them know. I mentioned that the valve steam looked like it was cracked, We drove down to the dealership again. The put the spare on, and then worked on the tire. I also noticed that they did not complete the tire rotation, as the bad tire was still in the same spot. They once again said the tire was fixed. The next morning, once again the low tire pressure light was on. I called, but got the service voice mail. I left a message saying that I was bringing the truck down the next morning. Once I got there, I was told that I did not have an appointment, and would have to leave the truck all day. I agreed to bring the truck back in a few days. That next day, It rained, I had to use the truck, when I got home I parked the truck in a puddle. When I got out, I could see air bubbles in the water. I moved the truck forward a little. and found the problem. There was a nail in the tire. The first thing service departments do with a leaking tire is put it in water and look for the air bubbles. A couple days later, I had lost so much air, that the tire was completely flat. I called my insurance company, and they sent out someone to put the spare on the truck, so I could drive it. The guy that came, looked at it, and asked me if I wanted him to put a plug in the tire, I said sure. He did it, we filled it up with air, and the light has not come back on since. The said thing is, my wife recommended I take the truck to Kocourek, because she had bought a Subaru and has had service and has been very happy. I will not be returning for service because if they can not do a simple job, how am I to trust them if there is a bigger problem. After making three trips from Tomahawk to Wausau, to be charged $30.00 to fix a tire that was never fixed, I will go elsewhere.

Ive been to other dealerships where the salesmen didnt really listen to my vehicle needs. Not here. All of the staff were amazing and friendly from the moment I walked in the door. Check any prejudicial conceptions of car salesmen at the door. I had the pleasure of working with Kim Haase at Kocourek of Wausau, who comported himself professionally and amicably. Kim secured the highest value out of my trade, and offered a candid elucidation of used-car market conditions and was able to have me driving away in my new Wrangler Unlimited the same day. Kocourek offers unparalleled service and support. I will surely be seeing Kim Haase down the road.
Purchased a truck from them. It took them 10 weeks to follow through with the promises my salesman made to me. Dave told me it was not possible to come down pick up my truck and leave me a loaner. I had to bring the truck up on my own time to get the repairs made and detailing done. He went on to tell me if I didn’t want to do that he will send me the part and I can fix it myself or take it to another Ford dealer. Talked to Tim the next day and he agreed to follow through with what my salesman had promised me. Granted they finally followed through it was extremely frustrating and disappointing for my first purchase from them. And more than likely it will be my last purchase from them.

Waste of time and crazy lowballed us on trade for our truck $23000, when at another dealership they told us 29-30,000. We went to them because they had a couple vehicles we were interested in looking at and potentially buy. Then, after we were lowballed I asked for my keys and he didnt have them, he went to where they were and sat down so I went and to go ask for them and get them. Also idk of they even detail their vehicles before putting them on the lot the seats were dirty and they didnt smell great. left us to sit for over 30 minutes while they did the trade value and he even late for our appointment while I get multiple text messages saying if youre going to be late let us know or we can schedule a different time. Ill take my money elsewhere, where our time and business would be appreciated.

Mike Bartels. Mike makes Kocourek a 5 rather than a 3-4. The price was above average(maybe average for Wausau market). Mike was willing to ask to increase trade in value, and was able to increase it to Green Bay level($500). Online description mentioned roof rack($635) which was missing. Mike replaced it. Finally, when I got home, I noticed significant damage to rear door frames (rear edge down to bare metal). Mike sent me enough touch up paint to cover. Damage should have been noticed(by Kocourek and myself) but Mike did what he could to fix. Thanks Mike!

I would recommend that nobody should ever have any service done at Kocourek Ford. My truck was in and they damaged the rear bumper. They obviously denied doing the damage. I walked around truck when I dropped it off. No damage!I can go on and on. I would never deal with them if I were you. They are full of lies as I asked to see cameras and they said they had none. Bunch of lies.Bottom line, never deal with Kocourek ever!!!!I have 100% proof of them doing the damage, and they denied it. So so sad that they give ford a bad name.Also have Ben buying trucks for 35 years and have never Ben dealt this poorly in all that time. Came from twin cities and moved to Wausau and realized why ford is not number one here. Because of dealers like Kocourek who do things wrong. I buy many trucks, but I buy ensnare as Wausau has no good ford dealership.
Last year your service department told an elderly relative that her hybrid Escape needed more than $4,000 in transmission work. I had it towed home from your dealership, ran some basic diagnostic tests on it and discovered all it needed was the 12v battery replaced. The Escape has been fine ever since without the thousands of unnecessary repairs your service department tried to swindle her out of.
I purchased two trucks from Kocourek and my second one I had to get gap insurance. When I sold the vehicle outright to another dealer I got a letter from my bank saying to cancel the gap insurance with kocourek. Kocourek said it was the banks responsibility when it was in turn theirs. I kept reaching out but they just blew me off. I never got what I was owed by this dealership. I will never buy another vehicle or service my vehicles at any kocourek from here on out.

Always a bit of arrogance from these guysPurchased 2 vehicles from Koucerek over the last 15 years - 2012 Edge was regularly maintained with expectation they would stay ahead on maintenance issues. They failed - left brakes go way past the point of saving the rotors - also neglected to warranty a tie rod end which ruined a tire and end result all the tires needed replacing because of this error-2017 F350 - 7000 miles pinion seal replaced under warranty - 60000 miles same issue - they told me they would go to bat for me even though it was 300 miles past warranty - a previous problem and they said tough luck on that - I don’t believe anyone went to bat for me-

A really fantastic experience. I brought my grandpa in with me to check out a nice little suv and Zach was our salesperson. We paid a really great price for the car, and Zach was courteous and talked to us both equally, not leaving me out and only talking to my grandfather which was the experience we’d had at several other dealers. I know it’s pretty common practice but a couple salespeople even offered employee discounts on anything I might want, an extra key fob, weathertech mats, things along those lines. We got insurance taken care of on the spot. Zach even took my new beautiful car down the street to get a carwash. Seriously an awesome experience for it being my very first thing buying my own car.

Not a terrible place to buy a car however it took them quiet a while to process our paperwork. I believe they had only 1 person doing everything loan wise. For a big company such as this Im very shocked and surprised that they dont have more people getting the mayjor paperwork done instead of all those dealers. I guess with monopolizing the area the quality in customer service fell. Decent cars though...

Went in and discussed trading in my vehicle on a new one. Dave Olson came up with a price for my trade. When it came down to making the purchase of the new one, the trade in price I was quoted was, in his words, nowhere near that number we had discussed earlier. Ill go elsewhere for my new vehicle purchases.Update:Shawn Keepers and Ray Carver have been in consistent contact trying to make things right. I have since purchased a new vehicle through them with good results. They handled the situation professionally.
Not very happy with service! Bought a brand new truck and was promised 4 free oil changes! Have had to pay for them, they blame Ford pass, which they installed! ( Twice! )
I went to have my oil changed and tires rotated, they told me that it would take 1 1/2 - 2 hours. That is ridiculous, I have never had it take that long. My wife gets hers changed at a competitor in 20 - 25 minutes with a tire rotation. Needless to say I will not be going back for anything but warranty issues. Next time I buy a vehicle it won’t be at Kocourek.

My experience was at Kocourek Chevrolet. I bought a 2017 Ford Fusion I always deal with Marc Levy who is the most amazing person. He is honest and cares about his customers and I always have a great experience. Then there is Charlie Cornele who is so amazing he listens to what your looking for and really goes the extra mile for you. Just love these two guys. Marc and Charlie are the best.
Done Newton was our salesman. Did an excellent job! Was very fast and prompt. I walked in at 9:15 a.m. and was driving off with the vehicle i wanted by 11:30 a.m.Sales and financing was very quick with how busy they were.Accessories for the truck was also presented to us, but we denied any of those. With us denying them, they did not push them onto us.Thanks again for the great fast experience.
The sales crew is friendly and helpful, but I’ve had multiple bad experiences with the service dept. They never call you back when parts are in to schedule your appt, they don’t order the parts they need to, and one time they never even put me on books for an appt! I’m not writing this on one bad experience. I’ve contacted the management before as well. Pretty much any time my truck had issues I’m worried about what will go wrong this time. All I was asking for was better communication which is not much. I’ve had family and friends with the same struggles. I strongly believe they are understaffed for the volume going in or there is a leadership issue. Now I’m stuck with an extended warranty that ties me here.

I bought a new $60,000 truck and 5,000 miles later had to have timing chain changed and the transmission makes a big clunk when you shift to drive or reverse. The navigation screen freezes all the time so I took it in to get fixed and 2 weeks later it does it again, so I drive up there right away so they can see. They say I can get it fixed or trade it in, I don’t think I should have to trade in a truck that they will only give me $30,000 for, then buy a new truck for $60,000 so it would be like paying $90,000 that’s only worth $60,000. I have medical issues and need a reliable vehicle and they really tried to get me to trade it and I am still not happy. We have all fords in our family and this is the only one that has issues and it cost the most

I would not take any diesel trucks kocourek ford. They do not know anything about diesel when they told me that was my tuner in my truck that created everything going on they lied that they fixed it but they never fixed it they left my wires hanging around they unplugged some of my computer stuff that I told them not to if there was a way to I give them a negative 10 I wasnt too happy about it
Terrible service....arrived for scheduled appointment for minor tire inspection. Told appt would be significantly delayed and asked if I could leave vehicle due to technical difficulties on their end.

I found a nice truck there. Theyre asking 24 thousand. I asked them to lower their price $2,000 and they wont budge at all. This is the second time I tried in the last 3 years to work with them. This is the last time Ill try working with them. They dont move on their prices at all and I was told that by other people. I should have listened. Good luck with them. But if I were you go find another truck somewhere else.

My vehicle failed on the way home from an away basketball game. Unfortunately, we were almost 2 hours away from home. Had it towed to a local dealership. (Luckily, it was Kocourek Ford!) Received a call the next morning from Sean. Great customer service, very personable and very professional. They were able to diagnose the problem, keep me informed and also investigated if any warranty information was present, as we did not when we purchased the vehicle. To make a long story short, when we are in the market for another vehicle, we will make the trip to Kocourek because of this experience. Thank you for such a great one.

This was my first time buying from anyone other than my regular dealer 10 years. Kocourek was friendly and very upfront about the vehicle I purchased. The sales person was honest and gave me quite a bit of additional information that I requested that is not normally provided. I took the vehicle for a test drive in a snow storm and there wasnt even an eyelash batted. The sales person pulled the car into two different locations in the building for me to be able to look it over. In the end, it took a long time for the paperwork. I am more used to the paperwork being completed and I come back for the car. It took more than two hours. Maybe Kocourek could work on that a bit. However, Kocourek delivered the car to my house saving me two hours of time. I would definitely deal with Kocourek again.
Mike was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was very nice and helpful. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is although we talked about a part being on order for the vehicle I choose I walked out of there not knowing if/when it would be replaced. Other than that I feel the service was exemplary. I would be happy as a return customer and recommend you to friends.

I have used Kocourek exclusively for all my service needs on my 2013 F-250 Lariat truck and have been very satisfied by the quality and craftsmanship. Shawn Howard has been excellent in his care and attention to my vehicle.So when I purchased a 2009 Audi Q5 of course I thought that Kocourek would be a good choice for service. I was wrong. As with any used vehicle there can be issues, this vehicle no different. Kocourek Audi had my vehicle in their shop to identify why a secondary air error code kept surfacing. After seven days of sitting there with no attention or no work done on it the vehicle is now on the way to Bergstroms in the Fox River Valley. I think having the vehicle for a solid week should be ample time to at least tell me what the issue is and what the cost for the fix would be! My disappointment is that Kocourek did nothing in a week. Well, you absolutely will not have my Audi business but you also have lost my Ford business from now on. I’ll take it to Stumpf Ford in Appleton. Just a little attention would have kept me as your customer.
Most of my deal was done via email and 2 phone calls. I live 2 hours away so I couldnt make it up during the week. Matt was great to work with and when I got there on the 31st, everyone was very friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another truck from them, and knowing me it wont be too long!!

Drove more than 2 hours to come look at a truck that i was scheduled to look at 2 days in advance. Pictures looked good, but got to see this 30,000 used truck and it wasnt taken to a wash, and wasnt cleaned out for the test drive. You would think that a little effort in order to sell a car. On top of that the car had scuffs and scratches everywhere. The car smelled of smoke and had burn holes in the seat. I was so discussed by the car that when we came back after test drive, we waited 5 minutes for dealer to come back out but left instead because we had nothing nice to say about the vehicle. the guy then insisted that he text us back and tell us our indecency of just leaving. NEXT TIME YOU SCHEDULE AND APPOINTMENT TO LOOK AT A 30000 TRUCK. HAVE THE DECENCY FOR AT LEAST A 7 DOLLAR CAR WASH. AND MANNERS.

We bought a used Saturn Outlook earlier this month. It seemed like a great vehicle for our special needs son and the rest of our family. Our salesperson, Billy was very nice. A week after we bought the car, the alternator went out and I called the dealership while on the side of the road. I talked to Billy about getting it towed and looked at. After wanting them to cover towing I was put on the phone with a man who literally verbally assaulted me. I was speechless. I covered towing and they were going to get back to me the next morning. 4 days passed and I wasnt even sure if the car made it there. Finally they got back to me and quoted me $790.00 for parts and labor. They did take care of most of it for me and I paid 200. Now 2 weeks later, the check engine light is on and it seems like the catalytic converter is the problem. We are devastated because the car is a struggle for us to afford to begin with. The day we purchased the car, they didnt have the buyers guide and we never got it. Also, when I spoke to them about the alternator, they said they didnt have the capability to test the alternator in house during the inspection, which is a lie because all you need is a voltage meter. They also refused to give me the results of the diagnostic they did after I brought it in. Our family feels violated and we dont know what to do. We havent even made the first payment and we have major problems with the vehicle.Edit: to respond to the owner, we were never offered an exchange. This is another lie. Also, after taking the vehicle in to be serviced again and also get an oil change that it was overdue for yesterday at a trusted garage, we feel a little bit better about keeping the car. Mostly because we do not ever want to be in contact with Kocourek ford Lincoln ever again.

Salesman asked too many questions before allowing a test drive. Personal questions. Financial questions. If Im going to buy something its because I want it and can afford it. Its not your place to ask how much I owe or what my payments are. These are unnecessary steps to go through. We just wanted to test drive a car. Other dealerships didnt run us through the ringer like this.
Called Mike ahead of time about a civic that I saw on the website and he had it all ready to go for me when I got there. Great customer service! Even followed up with me a couple days after the sale to make sure everything was going just how I wanted with the vehicle. I know if I ever look for a vehicle in the future I will be returning!

Dave Olson was a great help and stayed late to help reach a deal on my new truck. If there was one thing I would recommend it would be when selling a extended bumper to bumper warranty it would be nice to have info on everything it covers or does not cover to help make it easier for the customer. I bought a used gmc truck from Kocourek ford. It was a very pleasant experience with the salesperson I was working with he was awesome!! After that I was asked if I wanted to add any accessories to the truck and the only thing I was interested in was the undercoating because I lost my last truck to a rotted frame. I also payed a little extra to get the truck cleaned. Upon picking up my truck a few days later I took it home all excited just to look around when I got home to find the truck was not detailed/cleaned very well there was dirt and sand in the door pockets and cup holders and under the seats. They later took truck back to reclean and do the undercoating. I left the truck there because the undercoating was falling off and there was spots on the frame where it was not applied. When I came back the next day the undercoating still was falling off even though I was told it was resprayed. When I opened the door I found a shoe print on my door sill made from undercoating. The cleaning looked ok until I got home and I spent the next hour cleaning under the seats and scrubbing stains on the seats. I called them about the undercoating and was told they were closing due to COVID-19 and they would call me when they reopened. I never received a call I had to contact them. I took my truck in for the third time to get the undercoating repaired and the seats shampooed. I was also told there would be a person from perma plate there to over see the repair. When I went to get the truck this time the under coating looked a little better except the frame had spots were it was bare metal where the lift was in contact with the truck and my new shocks I just installed were covered in undercoating and there is over spray on the sides and rear of my white truck. When I told the guy that sold me the undercoating job my concerns he told me that I was to picky and there was nothing he could do for me and told me to have a nice day and left. I feel this could have been resolved a lot better. I guess if you want to buy a vehicle go see Matt in sales he’s awesome but take it elsewhere to have anything done or worked on.
Advisor Shawn attended to my request for service promptly. All requests were taken care of as promised in an efficient manner. Loaner car provided matched the quality of my vehicle which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Kocourek Ford.

Ive had my new F150 for a week and the truck is great. The buying experience at Kocourek Ford was Great. The sales staff was knowledgeable and spent a great deal of effort with us. The Aftermarket Manager was helpful in setting up the truck to our liking and he put forth an extra effort to make sure we were satisfied. The entire staff followed through with everything they promised. I would recommend Kocourek Ford to anyone interested in a car or truck.
Beat service department around! Never felt more welcome anywhere. Shawn and Damian are pleasant to be around. They know how to joke and be professional at the same time!
Do not even bother with this place. I test drove 2 NEW cars here and will never go back. I encourage everyone to do the same. Sales people are good are alright and all. Management from the top of the food chain down, not so good. From Ray all the way down to Matt. They enjoy using strong arm tactics, high pressure sales, and will lie right to your face. Something a SHADY USED car lot would do. Keep your money or take it across the street. Ive purchased from the Kocourek family several times over the years, sent countless people to their door step, and always gave strong positive reviews. Not anymore. They must be stretched to thin, based on the quality of care/ respect their Ford dealership brings to the table. Or lack there of...
I had a problem with my car for a few months and called and talked to Sean. He was super friendly and helpful and helped me as much as he could to get my car in around my work schedule! Also fixed my car super fast!! I’ve told family and friends that if something happens to their car to come here!
Justin in service and Scott in parts have done a great job every time I bring my truck in for service. Scott has been great getting parts that are in short supply or out of stock with Fords distribution system. Justin is always helpful, getting me in for service with little notice.

Went in with the intent of determining the size/type of car I was looking for. Ended up buying a car at the same stop. Our sales rep Dave O. let us take our time to rule out cars that didnt fit our needs. He listened to every bit of feedback, and suggested a vehicle that I hadnt even been considering when I arrived. I test drove it, and it checked almost every box I had. I did go over my original budget, but I am quite happy with the deal I received.
The guy in parts was very rude and treated me like I was a waste of his time. I understand my part was hard to find but I tried to say tell him something he cut me off saying Im working on it on a rude tone.
Was so pleased with how we were treated when we stopped in. We had first stopped at Kocurek Chevrolet and left feeling defeated and made to feel like we would never get a new vehicle, we decided we would try Kocurek Ford and when we pulled into the lot we were sure we would leave feeling like we had previously so we were not expecting much to come from our visit,boy were we wrong!! We were walking the lot when we were introduced to Nick de Long and right away he asked all the right questions like our budget and what we were wanting from a vehicle and he did not disappoint at all :) We test drove a Ford and not only did he explain everything he was understanding that a car purchase is a huge investment for people on a budget and took the time to thoroughly go through all the bells and whistles this vehicle had which impressed both of us. The process of getting approved was not even painful and we were in and on our way home in just under 3 hrs and it was so busy while we were there but he made sure that we had his utmost importance which felt great Thank you Nick for being so kind and making the car buying process easy for us we will definitely be back :) And thank you also to Shawn Keepers for helping us you all are amazing :) thank you again and you have earned a customer for life :)
Best dealership I have ever worked with. They sat with me and found a car with the exact options I wanted and were patient while I took about a week to settle things from the accident with my previous vehicle, insurance, and financing. I made a down payment to hold the car while I settled the other stuff. They werent pushy at all and worked well with me and with each other through the entire process. I dont know if I would go through any other dealership after working with them.
