Plenty of knick-knacks and trinkets, as well as several watches if youre into that sort of thing. Plenty of leather jackets as well. Unfortunately, as it is with most stores of this variety, they did not carry all sizes for items, although by no fault of their own. Still, a decently sized selection of items.

I traveled all the way around the United States and this is one of my favorite favorite 2nd hand stores. The 1st one is in San Francisco.

Good prices but not many stylish options in womens plus section. That section is very over-crowded with outdated styles and fabric materials.

Not overly impressed. It felt like a goodwill, and with a name like Nice as New, I expected more.

This used to be a nice store, both in Stevens Point and in Wausau. However it is so overcrowded that you can hardly move through the clothing items to see what they have available, especially the store in Wausau. They always have piles of clothing stacked on top of the display cases by the registers so you can have no visibility to what is on display in the case. It just has an overall rummage/junkie appeal.

Pretty nice and clean. Prices are pretty good. New sales almost weekly.

Today is July 10th 2021. My daughter went in today to the Nice As New in Rib MTN area & shopped spending close to $30.00. She was checked out by a further along pregnant young lady, with blonde short hair. Might I say HOW RUDE!!! No customer service skills at all! Checked my daughter out, not a word spoken except to give the amount owed for her purchase. Then she turned and swiftly walked away not even handing the bag of items to which my kid had just purchased. So another employee who had been standing by watchimg, walked over and kindly handed the bag to my kid. My daughter being the young lady she is simply said to the employee that handed her her bag, to relay the message of, nice customer service to the pregnant young woman who had walked away from her.. Being sarcastic. About am hour later my daughter returned to the store to return an item, this time a male employee helped her. He was nice. The pregnant clerk was also present. Staring at my daughter. After completing the transaction, and thanking the the young man.. the pregnant female then glared at my daughter but was speaking to the man and said rather loudly, Smile, nice customer service. Again, turning her back & walking away. I get women can be hormonal during pregnancy, but this interaction seemed to be more personal. As if the female possibly knew my 21yr old daughter. But my kid had no clue who she was. Point in this review, is maybe a manager or someone should have a word with this particular employee on how to treat their customers.. Especially a customer who frequents this store often and has spent a lot of her hard earned money there. Not what my kid expected and for what reason. Will be contacting the store!! Did I mention my kid is Hispanic..I left that out intentionally. The pregnant girl was Caucasian. Perhaps she just doesnt like Hispanic people. Or at least thats the vibe we got. If that is the case, she should find another job.. Not one where customer service and customer satisfaction is key to keep customers returning.

Another must stop at. I have found so many wonderful treasures here. It is such an exciting time to browse and discover things you didnt know you wanted but must have.

You can always find something here! Only issue is the racks are packed so tight, its hard to put up with, and possibly a disservice to consignees.

LOTS of quality clothing. Plus a nice little section of home goods. Great store to get lost in.

Could spend hours in there. Tons of clothing for any age, size, even name brands. Shoes boots, purses, packers clothes and items. They are super kind as well.

The lady at intake counter was rude!She took a lot of my items for3/4 of the items still had tags on them.The racks are so full cant look at the clothing...I found a giant claim shell,Has to weight 15lbs.

Some intake workers are nice and some are not so nice. I don’t like the new design of the website. It tells you to hover over the item for more details, but doesn’t give you any details so now I don’t know what is accepted all year round. Whenever I take something there it doesn’t take too long for it to get in the shelf and be sold. So pretty happy with that. Usually have to really look through a lot of stuff to find something you’re looking for but that’s usually with every consignment store. I would recommend. Just know the website is dumb. Overall though decent prices and decent staff.

LOVE shopping at Nice As New! Brand name clothing at affordable prices. If you want to sell on consignment though, they now only let you keep 40%. Not worth it, in my opinion. Also, the clothing is crammed in tight. Hard to look through the racks. Overall, still four stars! Oh yeah! The music they play is annoying!

Nice things slightly higher prices

So overpriced, very poor lighting, music not appropriate, racks jam packed, very unorganized and poor presentation. I literally can buy new items for near the same price. I cant see paying $7.99 for a plain, worn, solid color tee shirt from Walmart that they have for sale for $4. Not on my stop list in Wausau anymore.

Staff was nice and very helpful. Way to many clothes on the racks which makes it hard to look. Overpriced. I can get a shirt brand new for a couple more dollars at old navy up the street. You can find a good deal once in a while, but don’t count on it.

Was disappointed they dont keep the Halloween costumes stocked year round. I wanted to get some dress up clothes for my granddaughter and they dont carry them.

Nice place and you can find great deals. However the hours that theyre open are funny and not easy to work with. Most people get down with work at 5pm.....And then drive over. So maybe 30 mins of shopping if youre lucky with traffic. You would think theyd be open until at least 7pm. Maybe why they have so much inventory? Also. The limit of only bringing in 50 items for an appointment is slightly annoying. I understand the reasoning behind appointments, to make sure youre staffed enough for them. But the limit is dumb. Especially if you have a lot. Then you have to make multiple appointments and try and stay within their work hours.

I have only gone to the Wausau, Rib Mntn store a few times. They were the worst experiences of my life! I walked in, went to the front counter and they sent me to the back to the drop off tables. I am on crutches due to a terrible car accident and I HURT ! When I got back there, there was a girl standing right in front of me, behind the counter. She turned around and went to the table behind her. She started folding clothes or putting them on hangers while I stood right in front of her. I even said “excuse me” finally and she said I will be there in a minute. She proceeded to put clothes on hangers while i stood in pain. She finally made her way up to the counter where in had been standing for what felt like a lifetime to me. I was in so much pain by the time I left I went home and collapsed! That was so unprofessional and mean. I even stopped another store clerk who worked there and asked her for help and this girl said “she has this” she proceeded to ignore me. It was not busy until she decided to help me. Then the line was getting quite long. I have a very hard time going back there. My husband won’t go with me because of the first time we went there and got such a hard time with the baby stuff we brought in.

I found four nice pairs of jeans. My wife found a beautiful Coach purse. You have to have a keen eye and be willing to search for better quality items, but they can be found.

Really enjoy shopping here you can find some very nice clothes business casual mens dress pants for me in particular affordable prices one star off only because its often busy with only one register and leaving this location can be chaotic at times when traffic is busy as there is no light.

This retail store has a good exchange rate. You get cash after your items sell. Ive been a customer/seller at the store in the Wausau area for 15 yrs. The adult and household items are always in great shape. Kids stuff, not so much. The store is usually pretty busy. Often the staff members are unfriendly, verging on rude.

Ive consigned and shopped here for many years. The prices are ok but the intake staff are very rude, they wont talk to you and barely even make eye contact with you. Very poor customer service. Makes me not want to shop here anymore.

I get that thrift stores are tired of selling cheap items, having people buy them and resell them for a profit on eBay or similar. But pricing everything more than it cost new is not the answer.$125 for a used mens suit that hasnt been in style since the 90s?$30 for a frayed hoodie?$20 for basic lamp?Its cheaper to shop at Walmart or Burlington.They have a decent selection of items, similar to most Goodwill stores. The staff I have dealt with have been kind and helpful. Its just the prices.Caveat, I have not looked for womens or childrens clothes, just mens and housewares.

The items in the store are still in good quality without an outrageous price! Sometimes the store isn’t organized too well but I am unsure of it being due to heavy store traffic or new items.

So much to look through! They have everything from shirts to pants to shoes to home decor to toys.

The manager and owner are extremely nice people to work with!
