Terrible customer service. Waiting without being acknowledged, being skipped over to wait on others who arrived after you. Jewelery inspections that dont find flaws/damages unless you point them out. No in house repairs. There are better options for jewelry purchases than this place!!
Jodi is the sweetest! I absolutely love going to the wausau location. She is so helpful and patient. She never rushes you even if they are busy. Its so relaxing to be in there and be able to take your time comparing what you are looking at
Ive been to the store on several occasions. They have a great selection of jewelry. Moira is a very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable person. I recommend this store to anyone, looking for a family, friendly shopping experience.

After the Marquette store closed and my jewelry was in 2 different places Jodi at the Wausau branch took the time to find my pieces of jewelry and made sure that they were in my possession quickly. They go above and beyond at this location highly recommend!

I have consistently received great service from this Kay’s location. Staff are all very knowledgeable and more than willing to go above and beyond for me every time I go in. I have been helped by Moira the last few times I’ve been in and she is excellent and very helpful.
Girlfriend and I came in after seeing all these negative reviews, (after going to Granite Peak for the Fall Chair Lifts) and our experience was EXCELLENT!! We’re originally from the Green Bay area and have never experienced any problems with Kay’s. Rosie in Green Bay is perfect! Kong in Wausau is perfect!I recommend, if you see a bad review, go in and experience yourself! Some bad apples are trying to take business away (false reviews) to support another business. Shame on them!
My wedding is on September 12th and my fiance bought my ring from Kay Jewlers with full lifetime warranty I went to get it cleaned today just days before my wedding and they said they can not clean it due to COVID I clarified that they wont clean my ring due to COVID and they again said thats correct and refused to provide cleaning service. Panicked we called Jim Kryshak Jewelers and explained the situation not only did they clean my ring they re-platted it also. The customer service was next level at the competition and Im so thankful for everything that they did for me. Step it up Kay.

They promised to order in a ring from another store. They said the ring was ordered on Sunday and would be in Monday or Tuesday. I had to call Wednesday and they said order was never sent. They then said it would be in Friday the latest. Got a call Friday...never sent again. They then said it wouldnt now be here for Christmas. Cancelled the order and am now going elsewhere. Horrible communication.
I wish I could give them negative stars. My husband spent $120 on insurance for my wedding ring and they refuse to fix it. Not only that but the lady told us they get the rings from over seas. So they are open for who knows why because if they cant fix rings they shouldnt be able to sell rings because they come from over seas too. So we went across the street to Jim Kryshak Jewelers, not only were we able to walk in but they will fix the missing stone and 3 loose stones, build up the tips all of which were probably wrong with it LESS THAN A YEAR AGO when we bought the ring and badgered into spending the money to get the insurance. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO KAY JEWELERS EVER AGAIN! They have lost my business and I hope many others as well. Jim Kryshak will fix my ring in house and make it like new.
Never shop at Kay Jewelers! They are a terrible organization. I ordered a gift in March, and I was still dealing with it at the end of May. They did not ship the product on time, and did not provide me any information other than that it would be delayed. When I called, I was often told incorrect information as well. One other thing to note is that they have a chat function that they say to use on the phone, but doesnt actualy work. As a whole, they do not provide quality customer service, and are an incompitent organization. Again, dont order from Kay.
Went in store to order a ring, lady said it would take around 8 days to arrive to the store (Saturday, 1/18/2020), the receipt she gave me said it would arrive on Monday, 1/20/2020. It was passed Monday and I never got a call from them if the ring has arrived. Therefore, I called them myself and asked if they could track the ring or know when its going to arrive. They said they dont have the authority to track online orders, eventhough I went in store to order. Now its 1/28/2020 way passed when the ring was suppose to arrive, still no call. Finally called them once again, and they said the ring has been cancelled. They didnt even bother to call to let me know. Bad customer service.Edit: they never sent the order.
Took my wedding ring in to be resized. Promise date was Nov 7 and still no rings. The store is nice and the people are nice but as far as repair services is not the greatest.
Decided to stop in and check out the new store (wasn’t crazy about old location in the mall) and WOW what a great upgrade to an already nice business. Happened to be very busy and was asked by Sue to wait. Waited quite awhile and would have left except this new girl (assuming as I haven’t seen her prior) Von was just running like crazy. When it was my turn she not only made me feel important But made my wait worth while. Extensive knowledge and extremely polite! Didn’t pressure me to go above my means like the normal everyday sales person. Great job finding this little gem of a worker!!!! (May want to rethink the Sue woman tho) Thanks to Von I’ll be coming back even more often.
Long time customer. I’m newer to this location however they are extremely helpful every time I come in. Are they open everyday? That I don’t know. They helped me select 2 beautiful rings for my wife. They helped me purchase a rope chain that I no longer have RIP and they also got me into a nice watch in the past. Their credit program is great. I have been not only building credit, but I have been getting great deals. Kay jewelers is a fair priced shop that offers quality merchandise
This review is long overdue, but Ive finally gotten around to writing it. I went in last summer looking for an engagement ring. I had a very good idea of what my girlfriend liked, so I knew that I was going to be picky. I couldnt find anything in the display cabinets that matched what I was looking for, so I decided to go the custom route. I worked with Nick and Lynn very closely, picking out the right diamonds, band, and settting. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They werent pushy at all, and helped me make the decision that was best for me financially, etc.We (my fiance and I, she said yes by the way) have been back several times since then, and bought our wedding bands from there as well. Every time I stop in, Nick excuses himself from a customer to come say hi to me. Lynn has recently left there to pursue another career, and we were very sad to hear that. Everyone else we have worked with has been polite and helpful as well. The point is, these people remember and appreciate their customers.
The store manager Jodi was so helpful. She made sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. She is awesome. Best customer service we have received in a long time. Thanks Jodi for everything .

After my purchase they were suppose to call when the rings were in. On two separate purchases no call was received. My wedding ring was supposed to take 2 weeks. 4 weeks later no call, I call them. Now they cant find an order in the system. They sure have my money though. Done dealing with a chain jewler.
I dropped off a 22 inch necklace to be repaired because the chain broke, and when I picked it up it looked extremely long. I had the salesperson measure it because I was concerned about this. It measured 26 inches!!! Im extremely angry about this and will never purchase or repair anything here again. I paid $40 for a simple repair and they ruined my necklace! They didnt offer a refund or credit, nothing! Dissapointed!

We went in there for a quick appraisal and they wouldn’t even look at it because we were teenagers. They then tried to get us into buys one of their products and wouldn’t stop try to make a sale with us. They were rude and hostile, and disgusting will not be coming back jim kryshak jewelers were much nicer. :)
Employees very pushy, the lady the helped me didnt smile once. She just kept showing me things that she thought i may have liked. When i told her i ki d of liked a certain one, but wanted to browse a little she immediately started ringing it up. Wont be back again.

Tonight i went in for a ring cleaning. While my ring was being cleaned i looked around at engagement rings. My current boyfriend and I have been looking for the perfect ring and are ready to purchase it. After my ring was clean the woman who cleaned it told me goodbye and didnt even ask if i wanted to see a ring that i was looking at. The whole experience was horrible. I will not be buying my engagement ring from this kays instead i will be getting it from Rodger and Hollands.
Worthless website worthless customer service. Accidentally made a double payment and theyve been so rude while weve been trying to get it cancelled and they refused.
The sales people here at incredibly rude and pushy. The one woman wouldnt stop talking to my girlfriend about filling out a financing application after we told her NO! We got to the point where we just got up and left.
My fiance purchased a ring from here. Had it inspected, found on one of the quad settings the diamond was chipped. They had to send it back to the vendor which in CHINA. Now this was Sept 29th when I took it in. It is now almost the end of December still no ring. It probably will be another month before I get it back. It has to go thru customs, back to Kay Jewelers main office, then to go where they inspect the diamond. We will never buy another piece of jewelry from here. 4 months to replace a chipped diamond. Buy from a local jeweler.

I assisted a friend in buying a ring. The sales associate was very pushy, but my buddy was happy with his purchase.
Had some issues with a watch they had sent out for repairs. Not their fault but they took good care of me in the end!
