The staff at Placeway have been very kind and helpful. I like that they give you a discount on your pool products if you buy from them. I know many people that buy their products from big box stores and have no problems. I however prefer to give a local company my business. I love that I can drop off my sample and have it tested at no charge and get a list of instructions to get our water just right. I also like that every spring after not being in their store for over six months Im always greeted by name.

Received the part to fix the spa just by talking through the issue. Dan was helpful!

We did not buy our pool from this store. It was an Intex pool filled with 5500 gallons of tea colored water. I spent days online trying to find solutions. Everything I did seemed to make the water color worse. I took a sample to Placeway and Brian tested my water. He identified the issue, provided me a solution to pull out the iron, gave me a comprehensive list of products & instructions that would keep my pool water crystal clear this summer. I have added the cleaner and overnight the pool water is already clearing up. Great service, answers to all my questions, and everything I needed - in house - to get my pool ready for the season. We bought a pool heater online. Placeway has a serviceman. They would not service the pool heater because we did not order it from them. We even offered to pay more and they said and I quote... Thats what you get for ordering online. They are listed as having a serviceman for Pentair heaters, but they wont service. We didnt even know this place existed until we looked for a serviceman. This is just wrong! DONT ADVERTISE THAT YOU SERVICE A PRODUCT UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY SERVICE SAID PRODUCT. Take your business somewhere else. This company has poor work ethics.

We went to Placeway in search of a spa. We were very pleased with our experience. Mike was EXTREMELY helpful when we were trying to decide on a model. Theyve been great with helping us get the spa water just right.

These inept, clueless, lying bastards screwed us over at least 10 times after wed made the great mistake of doing business with them.Dan at the desk is an idiot. Our new hot tub was delivered with the wrong electric box, causing me over $200 in extra electrician costs while we waited to have the right box delivered, and it all went downhill from there.They said theyd check out our old hot tub that was tripping the breaker, at their Wausau location.Great. Except that THEY DID NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO THAT THERE.So 2 weeks later when I asked about it, all of a sudden they had to send it to their Plover location!Another 2 weeks go by. We were told our old hot tub was fine! Worked for days!And oh by the way, were charging you almost $200 for taking it to Plover!When Dan the idiot finally got it back to our home, he did so without bringing any equipment to get it off the trailer or get it onto my new deck! I had a work crew at the house and they used their tractor. Idiot.Then of course we began using it, and it still tripped the breaker. Idiots!A repairman from the Pool People came out, looked at it, and with 3 minutes saw what the tremendously obvious easy to fix problem was.Placeway Spas never looked at it. Liars.IF YOU DECIDE TO GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS, JUST REMEMBER THAY YOURE GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO DO THE SAME DAMNED THING TO YOU. DONT DO IT!
