I was so happy with my experience at Tosa Bike Garage. They have gone above and beyond with the repairs, tune-up and upgrades I’ve needed on my MTB. Chris took the time to answer my questions and educate me on some of the bike maintenance topics I inquired about. Their communication and billing processes are smooth and responsive. We have two jogging strollers that needed to be tuned up. Chris was very knowledgeable about the strollers as well as parts and typical issues that usually arise. He was able to do a tune up on both strollers allowing us to get back outside in time for the great weather. He also let us know about some things he noticed on each stroller and what to look for to prevent future issues. Great experience- we will definitely be back!!

Working with Chris on our two family bikes has been a wonderful experience! We had been using another Tosa bike shop for years but it turns out they havent been doing as good as job as Chris just did. I just had my 2001 Trek recumbent bike tuned up at Tosa Bike Garage and couldnt be happier. Trek only made a recumbent for for one year and they no longer have parts for it, some of which are unique to it. So getting proper care for it can be difficult, especially as it gets older. Chris was great - he took time with me to evaluate the bike, figure out how he could install one replacement part I had found online, and he found a suitable substitute part for another problem. All this personal attention for a very reasonable rate - similar to what Ive paid at other stores for a tune-up but without the willingness to tackle my bikes special issues.

What a great experience. Chris took his time in explaining the work that he did on my bike. Gave some suggestions on how to maintain the bike. I ended up taking two more bikes back to him to get them ready for the 2021 bike season. Highly recommend. Easy to communicate with, Affordable and passionate about bikes.

Chris did a phenomenal job giving our bikes their annual maintenance checks. His review revealed that the chains on both bikes needed replacement, sparing us an unhappy incident. The process couldnt have been simpler. We walked into the store, dropped off the bikes, and were notified by email when they were ready. The notification email even gave us the option to securely pay our bill in advance, which we did. We returned to the store to pick up our bikes and were on our way with his thanks in no time. Two things.I love the fact Chris works out of his home, right in our neighborhood and Chris did an amazing job with my kids favorite bike. Great quality work. Washed and scrubbed the rust from the chain. He even fixed things I had no clue was wrong with the bike.

I contacted Chris to help us tune up 4 bikes for our family after I called a number of other bike shops and learned they wouldn’t be able to help us for about 4-5 weeks. Chris was responsive, positive, quick and really knowledgeable. You can tell how much he loves biking and wants everyone else to enjoy it, too!

Chris was so great to work with! We brought him 3 bikes all with different issues. He tuned up mine, replaced the brakes and chain and it rides like brand new. He fixed the other bikes’ issues as well, and then some others that we hadn’t even been aware of. When we went to pick them up (he was close enough that we were able to walk over) my youngest asked if he could fix the hand brakes on the bike he had ridden over. It’s a cheap beginner bike that we aren’t worried about - it also has the pedal brakes. Chris said yes, managed to get one of my old brake pads to fit where the other one was missing, made a few other adjustments and sent us on our way at no extra charge. We’re very impressed and will call him for all of our biking needs!

Chris and the tosa bike garage is what you wish all bike shops were like. Figure out what needs to be fix. Fix it in a timely fashion. Charge a fair price (or less). Would and have gone back for more bike repairs and would recommend him highly. After Brookfield Bicycle went out of business tosa bike garage gets all of my business.

We recently ordered a new bike online. However, the derailleur needed some adjustments. We tried by ourself, but did not work. I was lucky to find Chriss place. Chris responded my email query shortly. After we sent the bike over, Chris adjusted the bike for about 30 mins. It worked pefectly! Im so glad that I sent my bike to Chriss Bike Garage!

Had Tosa Bike Garage do some work on my Trek Domane. Broke my rear derailleur cable and after talking to Jonah, decided to do a full tune up. New cables, chain (he measured the chain and gave me an honest assessment of its condition), re-tape, etc. All for a great price.My Domane is like a new bike! Rides and works better than the first day I got it. Shifts, brakes better than it ever. WoW, such joy to ride. Ill be heading to the Southwest this winter and cant wait to ride Arizona. Thanks guys.
