As a former GameStop employee myself, I can definitely tell a good store from a bad store, and this place is one of the best. Well it might be susceptible to mall traffic surges that lead to long lines, that alone is pretty much the only drawback to this store. Aside from that its incredibly clean, really well organized, and always keep stock of the must haves. Theyre 5 for 5 on switch games Ive come to pick up on blind faith, without checking stock lol. Beck is the gal whos helped the few transactions. One of the nicest and most well informed GameStop employees Ive come across. I Highly recommend this store to anyone who prefers a GameStop that doesnt have the typical regulars that roam the store all day, typically found in places like west Allis or Bayshore(when it was open) and tie up the lines and bother paying customers. Im married with 2 kids. The last thing I need is some blow hard regular half my age trying to sell me games he likes. So that was the initial reason for starting to go to GameStop mayfair instead of Target or best buy. Pick the right time of day to go and youll find Mayfair to be one of the best GameStops anywhere.

Website says they close at 8. 6:30 and they had already closed. Very small selection to boot. The employees know just as much as the workers in the paint department at Walmart. Nothing.

Guy working there is rude and a profiler. I was in there for one minute. Grabbed the microphone I needed and gave him the box to receive it and he said “that’s it? I’m not gonna find a game hidden in this box am I?” And “Oh you don’t want the GameStop warrant coverage? See you in less than a year”. Now I know why I don’t spend money at GameStop.

Absolutely horrible! Now I remember why I d9nt go into this store. The bad experience started with a phone call asking about a game. The associate who we spoke to was rude said he had 2 copies, but good luck since he had 30 customers in the store. Ok that wasnt necessary! Next we get there 5 minutes later and there are only 3 people in the store and 1 associate. The associate Joe after helping one customer decided to start sweeping instead of helping out people and running a bag the customer he had helped out to him that he had left behind on the counter. Ok so then we get taken care of ask for the game and Joe proceeded to be very microagressive about pre-ordering and how we wouldnt have to worry about finding it of we had just pre-ordered and what we missed out on for not pre-ordering. Acting like it was so horrible not to pre-ordering. Basically berating us for how we choose to buy games. Just sell us the game! And btw what he said we missed out on can be bought in a bundle so no loss paying an extra 20 bucks no big deal. Anyway the kicker to this is he didnt even ask if we wanted the protection plan just added it on the receipt!! Bringing the total to $67.This is why this company is dying and precisely why I wont step foot in another gamestop except to get the refund for something I didnt ask for in the first place! Get your act together gamestop! And for other consumers just get it off Amazon was less stressful!

Pretty much the only place I shop for video games and related accessories. The employees are usually pretty informed and attentive. You can also trade in many electronic devises like smart phones tablets etc. which is a nice bonus. If you are a pro member the rewards multiply quickly and there are many offers to choose from.

It was holiday shopping season, so the line was out the door. The controllers were 50% off and they offered several, four for deals, so it was worth the wait. Its not clear if the deals are still being held.

Showed up 10 minutes before they closed and they locked up early. The guy saw me in the window and turned around to ignore me. Terrible service I think GameStop is a disgrace here.

Very welcoming environment. All the people at this location are very friendly. I prefer going to this location over other places Ive been too. Store manager definitely takes the time to get to know all his regulars. Knows us by name, what system we have, what games we play to recommend new ones. I collect Funko pop figures, so he knows which ones Im looking for. Ill gladly go back to this location all the time.

Sometimes I have unbelievable lag, and sometimes the game is as quick as lightning. I need more stability from the game Fancy Pants Adventure. Its my favorite game on hudgames

Still open during a pandemic shame on corporate for forcing them to stay open. Games to distract people are not considered essential services all consoles and pc have the ability to buy their games digitally through the ps4 or xbox or switch e shops or steam eb games is not necessary facts.

Friendly staff! Every type of video game wanted! Cheaper than most stores! They had a sale going on and so I came to gamestop to buy a game and get one half off. A worker there suggested I get horizon zero dawn. Since, I told him I like action, adventure, but also a really good plot. In which horizon zero dawn has and more! Overall happy!😉❤❤❤❤💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪

I went to pick up a game that I saw was available new online and it turned out that the box was open and the associate couldnt tell me why. It was still being sold as new and I did not receive an offer of a discount at all. Ultimately, I purchased the game somewhere else for the same price and in unwrapped condition. I cannot recommend this store.

Very displeased. I bought a ps4 expecting it to be the 1tb slim ps4. But when I saw it was the regular ps4, i was disappointed but thinking maybe it was the 1tb until I ran out of space with 2 games. Then I found out it was only 500 GB. I called back to see if gamestop can do anything but all they offered me was a $20 instore credit... never am I going to buy anything from that gamestop again. Employees really need to check the systems before just handing it out and saying oh its the 1 tb. Even the box said 1 tb....

Watch out for this location, store does not adhere to city ordinances when buying and selling merchandise. The store does not correctly hold merchandise as laid out in NEWPRS. Store bought stolen property and sold it 1 day alter, supposed to hold for 21 days
