The people are extremely nice and will let you know their wide range of expertise on instruments. They won’t try to sell you the most expensive instrument. They will let you know which option would be your best route. They will not try to sell you “fluff”. They will tell you what you need right away to be able to play the instrument and what can wait. You don’t want to buy a lot of extras in the beginning and then fiind out your child doesn’t like the instrument and now be stuck with a lot of things you cannot use.

Helped me find the right resin

I had problems with the product (not the company itself) and The White House of Music went to extraordinary measures to make things right. No problems getting a refund. It is easier to claim an excellent rep when all goes well. But when things go awry and fall apart, thats when the real value of a trustworthy company shines. The White House of Music came through for me.

I’ve been renting violins from White House for three years. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend renting from here or taking lessons from their talented staff.

Great customer service

Beginners should really be helped a little more here. Worked put in the end. But my son played a bad trumpet for 4 months before we understood the instrument was bad. They did traded it for us but it should have been noticed before we got it. Beginners do not know what to look for. Help them a little more.

A great place for kids to learn music 🎶

John helped me select my fabulous Martin D18 guitar. He was very well informed, patient and accommodating. On my third visit we sealed the deal. I got my new guitar at an excellent price with very professional and classy service. I was glad to see how careful they were with their instruments. No need to worry about a dinged up or scratched up guitar at Whitehouse of Music. Go ahead and try the rest, but buy from the best!

I like that the variety of repertoire has increased at this location. Staff are always wonderful and helpful.

Too cluttered

All merchandise has a 10% markup vs. average prices minus a few items. Store is poorly stocked and lacking all but the most basic items which as mentioned are overpriced as to take advantage of the students (a common practice these days unfortunately). I really enjoyed how the staff treated me like a potential thief and how the cashier sighed heavily when i noted i would have to return with more cash later to purchase one of my items (which i wont) due to their prices. Would advise taking the time to drive elsewhere if this is your first choice as their markup would cover any gas wasted to go out of your way.

Ive been buying instruments here for many years, and the staff are very helpful and incredibly nice. I would definetly recommend here for buying, renting, and repairing needs.

This place is ok, but there are other music schools that do just as good of a job for cheaper.
