Dr. Bollman 5 stars will keep going to her. The glasses area on the other hand 1 star and I dont think they deserve that. I purchased glasses there and have had problems with the glasses for over 2 years. A week after I got them I had them in for repair and I guarantee I do not treat them rough at all. So repair was made lasted about a day. I do not wear them for work. So waited a day or two took them back made repairs this happened several times. So the other day took them in again. She look at them looked up when I bought them and said we cant fix them guarentee is off. Even after several repairs she would not back the repairs they made. She did say I was due to get new ones though and asked if I wanted to look around. I answered with a quick nope and walked out. I will not buy another pair of frames from her. I will take my prescription elsewhere as it hasnt changed in 8 years. What ever happened to customer service. Theres a sign there saying they wont work on glasses not purchased there she needs to add wont back our repairs to that. Again Dr. Bollman 5 stars glasses area lucky to get the 1 star.
I liked B. Bollman, until I kept saying I couldnt see clearly year after year, but she kept saying I had 20/30 vision, even though I let them do ALL the tests they wanted to do. Also, when I spoke to a receptionist on the phone recently about an upcoming appt. and told her I wanted only a basic eye exam, and she proceeded to tell me no, youre having this & this test. Not impressed with having a receptionist, try to force me into having tests I dont want just to satisfy their income needs. What tests I have are still MY choice, and bullying didnt solve a thing except for me to cancel my appt. all together, permanently. Maybe the people working there should remember you pay them and what tests you have are still YOUR choice.
Thanks to the techs and the Dr They discovered I’ve got a detached retina last week. Bridgett refereed me to a retina specialist at wolf clinic In cedar Falls, got me an appointment right away for the next morning and tomorrow morning I’m having surgery to repair it and I won’t loose the sight in my right eye. My children and I have always been treated with care and kindness I can’t say enough good things about this place.
Dr. Fitch was very thorough and professional. I enjoyed my visit with him. However the front office staff is another story. Customer service is horribly lacking. They all seemed grumpy and bothered. If any of those girls smiled, I believe that their faces would crack. As a paying customer, Im all about the attitude projected. Customers need to feel welcomed.
I had to come back in about a month after my initial eye exam because I was having trouble with my eyes and glasses. Dr. Bollman and a technician named Nikki were awesome. Nikki really knows so much that I thought she was actually a new doctor! She’s that good. I’ve seen Dr. Bollman since she started to practice in Waverly and I completely respect and value her as a person as well as a doctor. With Nikki, the other members of the team and Dr. Bollman, you’ll always taken care of.
From scheduling to fitting, the entire staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful! The Doctors take an interest in your eyes and make you feel relaxed and at ease. Highly recommended!
Great people and great service!! Worth a trip to Wavely. Was told by a different eye doctor I would not be able to get contacts because of the Lasix surgery I had a 1997. However these guys told me I for sure could get contacts and Ive been wearing them now for four years. Thanks for all your group does.
Dr. Pollastrini is great. Hes easy to talk to and knows his stuff.
Ive never had anything but great service from Dr. Bollman and the staff. With my job scheduling ahead can be a challenge, but they always work with me. I would recommend them to anybody.
Amazing eye care center! Everyone there was so helpful and nice would definitely recommend!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience there. I called about a month in a half ahead of time and asked if they took my insurance. They told me that they did accept my insurance. When I came in for my appointment they said that they have never taken my insurance before, so Id have to pay out of pocket. I asked how much a contact and glasses exam would be, and they told me it would be $154 total. I went in, all the staff were COMPLETELY RUDE. The doctor himself, was spouting off what was wrong with my eyes to a nurse and not myself. He didnt elaborate on anything to me, as if I werent intelligent enough to comprehend. It was quite insulting and rude. May I remind you, I came in for a contact exam as well; when I told him I wasnt interested in buying contacts from Pollastrini and Bollman Eye Care, he completely became disinterested in any medical conversation we were having. He made me leave and I went to the front to pay for my contact AND glasses exam, they gave me a prescription for my glasses and not the contacts. They continued to charge me $138 for supposedly just the for the glasses exam, when the price for both exams were $154??? This entire situation was shady. Their staff is very rude and unprofessional. Im going in to hopefully get this situation figured out: but the fact of the matter is that I shouldnt have to come back in. This was a complete rip off and very frustrating.
