Father passed away and had two cans of Cabot stain for his deck down stairs one was tinted with the code listed on can the other was a base neutral can and both was oil, went to this store and asked if he could tint the can that was just the base and instead of saying he didn’t want to he gave the biggest B S story I ever heard that he can’t tint oil stain only latex and when I asked him then why do you sell this exact base neutral in the store he said he bought it and is stuck with it. Which is total B S just be honest and say I don’t want to instead of treating me like I’m a chump. And it’s not like I was asking him to do it for free I offered to pay for it . Thank you for helping a community home owner .

Ive been here several times when visiting from out of town, always looking for miscellaneous stuff for projects at the home of relatives that still live nearby. There has never been anything that I could not find here, and the process of doing the finding is frequently aided by very helpful, friendly staff. The location and parking are convenient for anyone in Wayland, Sudbury, Weston, Lincoln, etc... The store is a mix of dense aisles full of everything youd want at a hardware store, and an upscale design center near the entrance. A great addition to the town.

Ace is nationwide, but locally operated. I try supporting local when I can. Good staff here, not unreasonably priced, and usually have what I need.

Placed an order for curbside pickup 60-mins ago. 15 mins later, an its ready email. I arrived, called, and a young woman answered who promptly brought the merchandise out and placed the items in the car. She was professional, polite, and wearing a mask. Great service and transaction, thank you.

The team at this store is very helpful and it is well stocked. Best of all, they have a designer on staff, Jody, who will come to your house and advise you on colors and window treatments. Nice, clean, new store! It has a big paint department stocked with good brands of paint. There is a designer on staff to help with decorating choices. It is a real neighborhood store with friendly staff, not a big box store. There is a kitchen supply store next door, owned by the same family. My husband bought an impact wrench that hes really happy with.

This place is amazing. Id go to 4 different massive home improvement places and not find what I need, and this place always has what I need. Friendly knowledgeable staff here who are easy to find. And convenient to home, too!

First of all this is not your normal Ace. The location is great right in the Wayland Town Center . There is also a kitchen shop right next-door connected it is called Wayside Gormet they are also great and even is has something for the kids and M&M Machine down there is also a popcorn machine right near there I also forgot to mention that they have a lovely selection of hardware and kitchen supplies
