Terrible servicetl Devon the store manager is a fraud... i Came in because I heard a rattle sound i tell him I think its my brakes and he tells me its my struts and axel I pay and still hear the noise just for him to tell me my brakes need to be changed when I asked to look at the parts he says store policy I cant see the parts this place is a waste of time and money stay away from this place...
I came here for an oil change here the time before my most recent service and it took 2 and a half hours. I sat and did homework in the meantime and the guy at the desk just kept saying my car would be next. Towards the end they suggested i change one of my tires claiming the thread count was low and i figured i might as well…. They apologized at the end for the wait and offered me a discount on my next oil change i guess because they felt bad.The reason I am writing this review now and not right when i received the oil change at Firestone is because i just had my most recent oil change, for which i decided to go elsewhere based on the past experience I had at Firestone. During the service they told me it looked like i was way overdue for an oil change because it looked like it hadn’t been done in an extremely long time (i am always on time for my oil changes) so it seems my car never got an oil change at Firestone to begin with. Needless to say I won’t be back, ever.

My experience with Firestone was exceptional! The reason it was a great experience was because of the two kind hearted and highly professional workers they have working there. Devin Levy and Justin Osoria. They explained everything to me in great detail! They went above and beyond for me!! They were honest and helped me understand what was going on with my issues. The reason I will keep coming back here to get all my services done including oil changes is because of these two exceptional individuals. They care about what they do and care about the customers! Will never go here again!! They are fast to make a sell and fail to provide the customer with necessary information. They sold me 2 front tires and I mentioned I would return to purchase the rear tires. I returned 2 days later to find out that the brand I purchased does not carry rear tires for my vehicle. Now they tell me I have to purchase 4 new tires because that is the requirement for my vehicle. They didnt offer me no type of credit and the manager was sooo rude. Do not waste your time.

They do AWESOME WORK The mechanics are good at what they do, but the price you should get a 2 day trip to a 5 star destination and dinner included it cost 2100 dollars for brakes on a 9 year old car really come on

Liers, I send my Chevy truck for Wheel alignment after replacing my front control arms both side, when it was time to pick up they told me it was not done, because my inner and outer tie rod was frozen and they heated it but did not work, they gave me estimate of $985.27 to replace both side, the trike that I loosen both side inner and outer tie rod before I send it for wheel alignment to make his job easier and not to hear I need to change them they are frozen, so I took my truck somewhere else he done it in 30 minutes with no issue. they lay to change pars does not need to be change and there pricing unaffordable

Great customer service! Devon and Team do a great job and make you feel welcomed to use their service. Right before covid I had a damaged tire that couldn’t be repaired. I had to get to a prior appointment quickly and only had time for 2 tires. Devon took care of me right away. In addition Devon said he would honor the price when ready for the other 2 tires. Covid started the shutdown and 6+ months later Devon still honored the deal. Great customer service!

Devon, for ur services and courtesy I would like to give you 5 stars . But today I had a bad experience from one of your staff. I have both my Beamers life time alignment and tire rotation from Firestone. It’s not only for the value for money but that what Firestone or Bridgestone can do best- taking care of the wheels and tires.But today your staff was telling your manager pointing at me “this guy just want the free alignment and rotation. Not even $10 vehicle check. BMW charges $300 each time for alignment. He did not even buy tires from us.”I mean I purchased a deal and that I think your staff needs to honor without pointing at me, what I do or do not. I wanted you to know this. Cause if this type of behavior goes on, I need to find a different store.
On 11/2/2020, I took my car to Firestone in Wayne, NJ because I noticed my hood latch was loose. Didnt want the hood to pop open while Im driving, so I got an appointment that day at 2pm, brought it in, and 1hr later I got the usual recommendations. Since the hood latch was a simple fix, I thought Id get some things taken care while Im there. So they got to work.7pm comes rolling around and my car is finally ready. I go pay for the damages and got my keys. When I got to my car, I saw that my hood was still loose! The main reason I came in and they didnt bother to take care of it! I go back in before they could lock the doors to close and told them about my hood. They had no idea what happened and the front desk guy (Andrew) was just making excuses. Since it was closing time, they couldnt do anything about it then. So they wasted my time, took my money, and I still had a loose hood.

Extremely expensive, first experience was too bad with salesman and second visit was much better. Mu exhaust was broken and they gave me $860 to replace it, I didn’t accept it and took to a small shop in my city Upstate NY, they welded it and it cost me only $30.
Tried to up sell work to me . I refused. I am an auto technician and do my own repairs. They had to do a free tire rotation. The next day I drove the vehicle on the highway and found it now had a rear wheel vibration. I inspected the tires and found that the right rear tire no longer had a balancing weight on the outsideWhich it previously had before they rotated the tires. Also I did not have a vibration before I took it in to their shop.very,very suspicious.

MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE GIVING IT TO THEM. The mechanic removed all for of my hub rings which caused my care to be imbalanced. I called and Devon apologized and offered a refund. When I came in to get the refund and to see if they still had the original hub rings because I had to order stock rings for my wheels and the ones originally on the vehicle were custom ones. Devon seem to be having a bad day and kicked me out without giving me a refund. I had to call the police and corporate to get my refund. PLEASE BE AWARE I AM NOT SURE IF THIS WAS AN HONEST MISTAKE OR DONE INTENTIONALLY. BUT I CAN NOT IMAGE ALL 4 WENT MISSING BY MISTAKE.
Dont go here! Please be warn they will brake your car pieces they are reckless. I moved near by and decided to try them since they are closer to me. After knowing they messed up my tires screws when changing the tires previously they offer me a discount on the oil change which I did not ask for. The only reason they found out bc I asked them not to do a tire rotation. I was never able to notify them bc no one answered when covid started but I have pictures of the damage right after my service.The oil change was yet another failure they forgot to put the cap on. For days I drove leaking oil around. What discount is it if it will only make the problem worst. I had to go to a different location(elmwood park) to have this fix because they actually do care for their customers. They kept car overnight while ordering the cap. I needed a rental which they will not refund me for because they only take paper receipts. I offer to e-mail, fax or mail the originals but declined it all. Unacceptable that after all the issues and inconvenience they made I have to make an effort to come back yet another time because they do not have a “printer”. I will be calling my bank to get my refund because I called corporate and yet still waiting for the call back within 48hours that never happened.

I can bring a brand new car here they could tell me I need work done on it. And I always have a tail light thats out they always want to sell me a tail light? I had installed brand new boots on my tie rods and suspiciously Ive had to replace them again within a year.
We have been bringing several cars here for over ten years and always got honest service. Sometimes not as quick as someone might like, but there are a lot of cars on the road. I’d rather wait for impeccable services than a rushed quick one.

Worst experience ever. I went to get a general check on my 2 year old car as I felt that the drive is not smooth. The car was attended by the technician after a wait of 1 hour. 1.5 hour later the technician provided his analysis to the front desk and she provided me a long list of items needed to be changed in my car and the estimated cost was $3500 for a 2 year old car. I asked them thank you and asked to return my car which hurt their ego it seems. So, I had to wait another 2 hours before my car was returned to me. So, I spent a total of 5.5 hours at the Firestone for nothing.
Devon and Dave were exceptional in their professionalism and customer service. A priority plan was put together to match my budget and the job was executed flawlessly. I will definitely be back!

Brought my vehicle in on 7/22/2020 to have my brakes and rotors looked at as my back right brake seemed abnormal. Had my brakes and rotors replaced along with new tires alignment etc. a little over 30 days later the same issue I Was having previously, began happening again. Took my vehicle back to firestone to only be told that both my rear calipers need to be replaced because they both ceased to work..... and that it will cost me a additional 1K+ to fix. I find it unfathomable that not only 1 but both my rear calipers suddenly went bad after a service from your technician. This incident was caused by incompetence and neglect by your technicians. To rush my vehicle out of the door before closing.15 Homer is the technician it stated on my receipt.

I had oil change, tire rotation and alignment today. The service is good. I like this place because it opens on Sunday. There are many stores in this area. I can do shopping after dropping off the car.
I was here with my Civic AC system wasn’t working. The guy told me there’s a leek he put a dye system and recharge the AC total was $320. The next day AC wasn’t working again. I go there he give me another $700 recommendation for condenser and recharge. So first day he was wrong there was no leek. They just charge me $320 for nothing. If you don’t know what’s the problem is why u charge me $320 on first day and say there’s a leek. Now they don’t want to refund my first visit money. I fixed the condenser outside firestone only pay $250 on it. This store is totally disappointment never gonna go there again.
Ive been coming to this location for a long time. The service here is great in my opinion. The representatives are friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. They listen to my concerns and answer my questions. Repairs are done in a timely manner and done correctly. They also stand behind their repairs - if theres a problem with the fix they will address it and make it right. Overall a great Firestone location. I plan to continue bringing my car here and recommend this place to all my friends. Car repair can be really stressful and difficult if you dont use the right repair shop. Im glad to have found Firestone, and especially the Wayne location- they make it as easy as possible to get my car fixed.
They didn’t bother to reset the computer in my car after doing my oil change. They also didn’t do the oil change correctly as oil leaked all over the driveway and then I had to go to a different Firestone to get the problem fixed. I spent an hour driving to and from the second branch I went to and they didn’t even apologize or reset the computer for the oil change. Do yourself a favor and just go someplace else. These guys are a joke and a waste of your time and money.

I have been coming to this location for many years. In general I am very happy with the service and pricing they give. Occasionally, my car needs more work than I think it does and I’m not prepared for the price they give me. However, it’s not my fault that cars cost money to repair. Thank you firestone. I’ll be back soon. Oh yeah I forgot to mention - they checked my car battery for free without a hassle. Knowing this is a very large location I would expect that their turnaround time to be quicker.

I remember when you had a flat tire and could get taken care of as though you were a customer. I waited patiently for a while and he complained about being the only one. I told him I had a flat tire and needed it fixed and he asked me if I had an appointment. Well hello we dont make an appointment for a flat tire. So remember this when big companies try to put the small guys out of business. I went to Nunez tires and was treated like a human being rather than a $$$
I saw some of these old reviews so I was nervous and skeptical taking my car there but I had called in for 4 new tires for my 11 Corolla and I spoke with a Jonathan over the phone he quoted me several options on tires for my car but I’m a girl what do I know so I said I’m not sure whatever cheaper is.. so he then asked if I would like an appointment to have done I said I need them that day around 400pm so I had should up around 530 cause was late from work I walked in a was greeted by Jonathan yet again and it made it comfortable to know was same person I was talking to on phone . He went in detail on the tires options and even showed them to me in person we would up deciding on champion fuel fighter ones for a reasonable price he said he was gonna do his best for me . He offered alignment which didn’t know what it meant til saw the report it was out and he was polite and sat and talked over alignment options chose the lifetime when the work was completed I was impressed he was knowledgeful and polite and courteous of what I needed even after me knowing nothing.. so thank you so much will be back
Walked in to see why my check engine light came on. A mechanic came out and said to give me a diagnosis code it costs $100, then said it came be a bunch of codes in a sub category, takes about 1 hour. Then the man at the front follows up behind him and says it might take half a day just for this. No way. Ill go elsewhere

Theyre always quick to fix/service whatever the vehicle is there for and their communication is phenomenal. I deal with a few different people but mostly Mike who is the manager or Anthony and both of them are A+ for customer service! Thanks guys for always taking care of my vehicles!
First time going there, I was expecting better service with a decent price. Unfortunately I was wrong got new brakes. Took about 3 hours to get it done after that driving home on route 3 I heard a sound and then metal to metal braking which was weird I had just gotten NEW brakes . Took it in the next day and they redid the job just saying Were Sorry . Manager never called or tried doing anything to make it up . Next I hear a scratching noise in my front tire, at this point Im NEVER going back to this location, rather spend a bit more in the dealer and got the job done RIGHT the FIRST time .Update - so its been 10 months since I got the brakes changed, today getting new ones because everything feels out of place . So I take my car to the dealer and I ask them to check how much I have left on the pads and if I need new rotors since it’s only be 10 months . I come to find out the rotors were NEVER changed only pads. I paid full price for everything to be changed now to find out I only got pads unbelievable ..... I will never bring my car to this shop again

I was here 3 months ago to get some snow tires put on,it took them about 45 minutes to do the job I was quite happy, yesterday it took them more than 2 hours to put on the regular tires and then they make recommendations on what I need for example I was told I needed windshield wiper blades the problem with that is that I had them changed 3 weeks ago instead of focusing on what you can sell me, try focusing at the job on hand,sorry to say the old crew was much better never going back to this location again, Ill drive the extra time to go too another location.

Its not that bad of a place. Been bringing both my cars here for years. The main room and waiting area pretty large and pretty clean for an Auto Service Center. Prices are not that bad, you can always find cheaper if you look around. Remember expect to pay a pretty penny the reason youre going there is because you dont know how to do the job yourself or you dont want to do it yourself. I recommend that you make an appointment you could do that online on their website. I also recommend that you check to see what kind of coupons are available and download them. Service writer seemed pretty friendly. If youre going to wait while your car gets serviced expect to wait a pretty long time. I suggest that you take a movie in AMC Loews Wayne is right across the street. Or go grab a bite to eat, Panera Bread, Chipotle, Starbucks, a pizzeria, and many others are right in the the area that are walking distance. Or kill some time and just go shopping if you can.
Tires are important and the service persons here are quick, friendly, and knowledge. They show you options, dont pressure, and get the job done quickly but without rushing. Whenever I leave I feel confident that Im driving away safe and secure. Couldnt be happier and would recommend to anyone who has a car out of warranty or just ramus a good tire set without the dealership markup.
I have recently visited this place for oil change.They called me later saying I had one tail light not lit and power steering liquid needed to be replaced. I had checked on tail light couple days before, but I said ok to fix it but not all the other issues they told me about. When I picked up, the control panel had two warning lights. And it was gone after 3 days, which was very strange.It was my first visit, and it was my first experience that something happened this way.Leaving me bitter-some suspicion about what they had done to my car, I would not visit this place any more.
I went in for an oil change. It took over 3 hours and they (without asking) gave me a huge printout with over $2,000. of suggested repairs! my car is a 2007 with over 100,000 miles.Still, that was kind of helpful. I took their enormous list home and will bring my car to Costco for any needed repairs.

Service is not bad but the prices are really bad. I had a radiator leak and called for pricing. I was told it will be nearly $750 and there could be a 20% discount. I purchased the radiator from Autozone for $130, paid $200 labor at a local mechanic shop, and my total cost was $330.
Called to make an appointment for an installation of two tires and to have transmission fluid changed. I had spoken to a lady named Ebony and she was there The following day. She had all of my car information and said it would take 2-3 hours. After the 4th hour I show up to see how far along it has gone and they said that they hadn’t switched the tired and also told us that they ordered the wrong transmission fluid of my car and could not do it. After waiting four hours, they still hadn’t finished it even though they had less work. I’m in my 5th our waiting while writing this review and they still have to put the tires on. Slow service, misinformed staff and HIGH prices. Never coming back
Went ahead and made an appointment ahead of time for 11AM for a wheel alignment. Showed up about 15 minutes early, figuring if they have the room, I can get done a little faster. They said it would be about an hour and a half total. I went for a walk around the mall. Came back at noon. My car never even made it inside yet. Asked for the key back and then they said they were bringing it in now. Gave me a story about since it was a Saab, only certain techs knew how to work on it. Were not talking rocket science when it comes to adjusting camber, caster and toe in.So I filled out a survey they asked me to fill out. In the survey, it asks if you would like someone to contact you, and if so, how. I said sure, via email. About 2 hours later, I got a call from the manager trying to waste more of my time to try to talk it out. Note to everyone who asks for a survey: If you ask for one and ask me to spell out my reasons, I will. If you then call to ask about my reasons, I will tell you the number 1 complaint I have is you not READING your survey and the questions you ask.
I went last month for oil change and they recommended brake fluid change, showed me purple strip indicating its needed right now. I agreed to change along with other recommended services.Last week my car stalled and needed the battery change. Guess what the first recommendation was - battery fluid change under system critical failure section. I asked why it is needed with in three weeks and answer I got was, out is just recommended and I can ignore if I have done already.Not sure if Firestone was dishonest or just want to sell me their credit card they they insisted three times. It was poor and pathetic service overall.

I never been to a firestone before but i had blown a tire so i went googled a location and found this location, it was convenient to me since i was in the wayne area .. i had called the store phone was answer by an associate by the name of Jonathan i explained the situation he said to come right down and he will help me out but he explain to take slow or offered to have me towed in to shop.. Which i appreciated i made it barely to store i ran inside and was greeted by a gentlemen who turned out to be Jonathan from the phone call.. i told him what happen he ran out to the vehicle with a pad .. came back to me and explain i actually needed 3 tires due to severe cracking .. so i said i did not want it he explained to me would not be safe this way ... but the sales rep actually was friendly and showed me the issues with the tires.. In middle of this another customer came to talk with him but he never took his time or attention away from me... so i walked away happy got 4 tires and alignment done last minute .. true definition of service turns out his business card stated he was the Tire Manager so bravo and thank you need more staff like him,,, now i can get back home safely ... will use firestone back home in my state.....
I bought 4 new tires from firestone willowbrook NJ 6 months ago, now igot bubble on front tire side, its look like manufacturing defect, i went there and told with manager, they dont even care and they didnt check my tire, they give me only one option that was get new tire with full price, i was like really i bought my tires just 6 months ago and i paid around $550 for all of them, the price was over but i thought it was good quality but they are not and the firestone is rip of! i dont recommend firestone. I will never go there again!

The techs did an awesome job with tires, brake adjustment (for the back), new brakes, brake discs (for the front), wheel alignment and oil change in just 1h and 45mins, but the guy on the phone did definitely try to upsell me things I just had done to my car. Make sure you know where your car is in maintenance and you should be fine. Overall, very friendly and patient bunch.
This is my go-to place for car maintenance. The people are friendly and abide by the laws of common courtesy, which in my opinion, is rare indeed.Dont mind the other reviewers. The staff will recommend repairs to you; they dont FORCE you to get them done. If a mechanic sees something might go wrong, wouldnt you want them to let you know ahead of time? You have the option to say no and take it somewhere else. Whats the big deal?I have had mechanics put the wrong coolant type on receipts and deny they made a mistake. I have had dealer mechanics charge me $1200 for rotors and take one full week to put them in. Those places deserve two stars, not this place.
Use firestone for just wheel alignments. Everything else is too expensive and any big work is shipped out to different locations. These mechanics here are at best C+ quality and yes, they are expensive with all the overhead they have to pay.

First time here. Overpriced services, staff tries to oversell you on everything and the wait time is outrageous. Made an appointment I have been here since 12:00 pm, I am writing this post at 4:38 pm still waiting for them to find my paperwork. 😫😫😫...now I finally get my car back at 4:53 pm, go to check my car and they put a different rim on my car then what i cam with. How is this even possible?

Dont know if its new management or what but these people are definition of scam artists. Told me i need a bilateral wheelbearing job for $650 total bill. I called honda dealership they quoted $250 honestly when u cost more than the dealership u are a scammer in my book. Such a shame. Wont be returning here no more.

Well, my car is 3 1/2 years old and only has about 28,000 miles on it and they told me besides replacing the flat tire with a new one, 2 of my other tires have low tread and needed to be replaced. They also said my battery failed so that needed to be replaced, plus I needed new front brake pads and rotors too. I told them to just give me the one new tire so I could get the heck out of there. Also, it took an hour and 1/2 to just replace one tire and do the full car checkup and this was on a week day!
Great fast and friendly service, even if you are a tourist, which is what I was!!! A+

Nothing... Replaced all my tires and my TPMS light came on after I left. They made me go there 3 times in order to fix the issue. They need to put little more effort in troubleshooting issues and not just rest the computer. Finally the issue was fixed by replacing the tire sensor.
Cheap mounts and balance but no TPMS
I was on a business trip, and my rental car broke a wiper in the middle of a January snowstorm. I pulled up to this Firestone as they were closing. There was 8in of snow on the ground and traffic was a mess, Im sure these guys just wanted to get home, but they stayed the extra 15 minutes to get me back on the road. Ill probably never have an opportunity to use these guys to service my car again, but I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.
Firestone/Bridgestone will not honor the warranty. Dont fall for the 1 year 12K mile warranty on DriveGuard tires. They make up any excuse to not honor and try and prorate it when the warranty states FREE repair or replace.
Made an appointment at 11:00am 4 days in advance it is now 2:30 and i have still yet to hear back about my car.
