Great place I’ve been here twice in the last two weeks and I’m pretty excited about how good the food is. I had the chicken souvlaki platter which was great my gf had the normal…….(chicken and fries) mazoh ball soup was excellent the broth was delicious and the waitress/host was at our table a good amount of times to check on us. I used to work here when it was King George diner as a waiter and now it’s Park Wayne Diner. I must say it has gotten much better. My first time was 2 weeks ago and now I’m back again. So I’ll probably come here regularly for as long as I don’t have a bad experience. It’s also pretty diverse and I don’t get the whole “you don’t belong here” vibe which is extremely important to me especially in New Jersey….
I love this dinner. I have been going here for years with friends and family. Their motza ball soup is to die for. I enjoy their gyro. And their zucchini sticks are delicious as well. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Great place over all.

Stopped here with the family to get breakfast. The table and menus were dirty. Waitress came to table and was very unfriendly. The food came and it was worse than hospital food. Waitress coughed over our table while serving the food. Totally disgusted!! Its sad, this used to be a great place to bring your family to for special occasions. Will not be coming back!!
Went for Mothers Day. The wait was long, but not obscenely so. The real crime here was the food and service. Our waitress, though nice enough, could be easily seen as abrasive. She already had enough of her day and showed it. The food was subpar at best, and put all of us in the restroom shortly after arriving home. The only thing I did like was the Chicken soup (photo attached).This place was better when it was King George.
The milkshake was so sweet it hurt my molars and the sandwich was just edible. I don’t fault staff for whatever circumstances they face in their private lives, but making time to go out to eat shouldn’t make you disappointed at the end of the night. Avoid if you want an enjoyable dinner.
Love this place for a quick bite. Excellent burgers and great coffee. Always greeted with a genuine smile. Wait staff is experienced and professional. Always immaculate, not a crumb on the floor. Would highly recommend. Lets try to keep Jersey diners alive rather than the chain restaurants. Burgers here are better and competitively priced. Would highly recommend!
Only 1 gluten free items for people with allergies and they never seem to have the item available. Horrible service and they’re shrimp scampi is breaded fried shrimp, which is weird and doesn’t even taste that great! Plus they charged us almost $100 for 3 simple meals with only 1 drink! Super overrated and overpriced food that sucked! I will never come back here!
Highly recommend itfood taste awesome service was 5 🌟.Our server Agnes was amazing very attentive to us and her other customers. Prices are good and you get a lot of food for your money.Today I had a western omelette with egg whites and extra onion and peppers on the home fries also a side order of sausages (delicious) my wife had her usual 2 eggs sunny side up and ham.

We came here for a late dinner and ordered the chicken parmigiana club sandwich- so delicious. We’ve been back several times for breakfast. Portions are good. The decor is lovely. The only thing that I do not like is where they have the utensils stationed in the front. Constantly the worker is moving the utensils around and putting them in their plastic bags. The noise is a annoying. They need to remove that station away from the customers and move it to the back away from the customers.
Bought dinner, the food was pretty good. The waiter was never far and checked back regularly. I was happy enough to come back again!
Really good diner. We went there for breakfast around noon on a Sunday and it was busy. There was no wait un order to get seated but we had to wait for our food. The was was delicious! Both chorizo omelet and the taco dish were great! This place is worth going to any time, any day of the week.
Very typical NJ diner. Good food, nicely decorated in old fashioned diner decor, and very clean. Just moved to Wayne and the diner will be a regular venue for me.

Service given by the waitress was acceptable although she spoke too loudly by her tone of voice. She could have lowered her voice more and should have been only heard by the customers on the table she was attending to.The ambiance and environment is dated and needs a modern makeover. The place is not clean and a bit sloppy. I found empty butter packets open plastic flap stuck to the side of a salt bottle on my table. The carpeted floor was dirty and had food particles that werent being cleaned up as it was getting dirty from the droppings.The food was average. Soup and salad was standard diner fare.My roasted half chicken was too dry on the inside.

Not just dirty glasses but they brought us a glass of ice that had lemon seeds and pulp in it. Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich it comes out with ham on it. Its taken back and instead of a new sandwich being made they pull the ham, well some of it anyway and send it back. Not a big deal unless Ure medically not supposed to eat pork. Couldve been a better experience.

Our take out was cold because, as we stood in full view of the staff, no one bothered to tell us our order was ready. Burger was dry w no mayo, mustard catsup or anything on it or provided. The matzo ball soup, however, was great

A great Jersey style diner! I ordered the meat lovers ultimate breskfast which was stacked of hash browns, ham, bacon, sausage, peppers, onions, then topped with 2 scrambled eggs. Ultimate it was! Much more than i could eat. Great taste and among the best values anywhere. Great service in a great atmosphere with a nice sekection of home style cooking! We will be back for sure!!
Strawberries and bananas on the side of meal are $8. Might as well just walk to Shoprite right next to the diner and buy your own fresh fruit. What a rip off.

This was amazing breakfast spot. You can get fresh pineapple juice. I went on Fathers Days and was suprised it wasnt that crowded.Service was quick, polite and very professional. Inside was cleaned, table was cleaned and the bathrooms looked clean as well.I ordered a Corned Beef Hash Eggs Benedict. It was delicious. The hollandaise was tasty and very well made, nice and tangy. Definitely will come back to this spot. You know a NJ diner is excellent when its menu isnt the size of a book.
Ordered breakfast over the phone, 1st mistake. Was over charged when food was picked up but was in a rush. Checked when I got home and food was not made the way I asked. When I called the person in charge was very nasty over the phone and the explanations of price contradicted what was on their menu. Instead of trying to work it out with me, he refused to hear what I had to say, was extremely argumentative with the customer and told me I had to drive back there to have him explain it!! We will NEVER get food here again!
I’ve been coming to this location for years, especially as a former resident of Wayne and working in Wayne; we’re talking about I knew the King George diner that burned down and Park Wayne was built for how long I’ve been coming here.During Covid, I would still order their food for pick-up just because it’s THAT good! No complaints about the food, no complaints about the waiters and waitresses that I’ve had. However, the one time during Covid that I decided to dine in, the owner was there and walking around the establishment without his mask up. Additionally, I observed less than professional behavior from him such as how he was talking to the staff in almost a belittling manner. I’m not here to tell anyone how to run their business or their lives but as a long time customer, what I saw (specifically from the OWNER) makes me think about keeping them as a “staple.”
Amazing food! I forgot her name but had the bear waitress we’ve had in a long time! Drove from California to out here and it was worth it!

This diner is 10/10It’s funny how everyone has something nice to say expect for those very few people who leave negative reviews, they must not have anything better to do.The new owners go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience here. The food is amazing and the portions are HUGE.
Was taken to the table, sat down, waitress then told me 30 minutes wait because the kitchen was backed up, a busy day is understandable, by why did the person seating me not explain the wait before o sat down, few things are a disrespectful as wasting someones time

Now in previous visits Id rate this place okay! Solid diner, big menu, good service. However too many trips are touch and go; today was the worst. Ordered the blue burger (blue cheese, bacon, avocado) asked for medium rare. What I got was more like an old display model of a burger than actual food! Check the included picture (not the one from 2016)! The bun was toasted so hard that it solidified into a rock. The avocado was not ripe, not even close - was like rubber I couldnt bite into. The bacon tasted like burnt pots and pans and I couldnt tear it with my teeth, like jerky. The blue cheese was the only fair ingredient. My friends Shepard pie was okay (its big enough for 5 people to eat) but my other friends mozzarella sticks had a taste that cant be identified, like a chemical, and the breading was still wet so it wasnt crispy. I would probably go again after a while because I know this place CAN be good, but when it was busy like it was today, the quality drops harshly.

Always had a great experience here. One of the best places to get food at 2am before Covid. Would be a college hotspot late a night for after-bar food.Potions were always huge as par with all diners an quality was above what youd expect, especially for the price.Food always came out in a fast time and waiter/waitresses never gave us a problem.Would definitely recommend going.

Excellent Servicefrom George (the manager)He noticed the sun in our faces.He moved us ( with a pleasant smile)to a shadier table.and Guillermo (the server)was so patient as we made mistakes ordering our meal.He was honest about items on the menu and made suggestions on what to order.I would strongly recommend Park Wayne Diner.
So far so good. I have been dining here a few times since the Pandemic and their outdoor dining is compliment-able. The food is what you can expect from a diner. Price is reasonable as well.

I give this place 5 stars solely based on their soup. Ive never ordered anything else from here so I have no idea what the rest of their foods like, but every Saturday for my lunch break I grab a large soup and frankly they all kill it. One of my coworkers dreamed about the soup for TWO weeks and came with me to get it. We slammed both of em together.
Reason 4 stars cause it depends on the waiter/waitress... my son and I had a wonderful waiter that was on point ... checking to see if we needed anything, we didnt feel pressured ... so different from the last time we were there ; it was a Sunday we had a waitress ... I asked for coffee ☕ when the coffee came the coffee mug was dirty from the outside, I showed the waitress and her answer was oh its nothing you be fine and left me with a dirty coffee mug ... I asked for the bill then the waitress asked if there was any tip ... I then said No, you left leaving me with a dirty coffee mug and you didnt bother to check on table not once ... so again it all depends on who is your waiter/waitress you have

Food is delicious, however in the past we havent come here too often because most times we come to this diner we get staff that arent rude but arent friendly either. They are just kind of okay... however tonight we got this awesome waitress! Her name is Cathleen and she is amazing. She is very personable, sweet,willing to please and wonderful attitude. Her customer service is completely on point. We will be returning more because of Cathleen and requesting her as well.

It looked like a decent place to have dinner here. But what I experienced told me do not come back here again.I ordered chicken Milano which is 17.95. When it came I saw a plate full of gravy sauce and a whole piece of oily bell pepper on it. I lost my appetite at the second I saw it. I told my server that’s not what I expected you can take it back and I would just pay for that . She told me that I could have something else instead. I felt they really cared about their customers which made me back to the good experience track. So I ordered steak instead. My server told me okay and did not say anything else.Then I went to the register to pay my bill. The bill showed me a number of 27.75 and the item was filet mignon which was 10 bucks more than what I ordered. I did not get any information about that from my server!What if you have 18 bucks budget for your dinner and the server put 28 bucks on your bill without getting you informed?I normally go to restaurant and tip my server over 30% because I did serving job too a few years ago. But this time I tipped her nothing which let me feel bad too. It’s really a terrible experience.

This was our first time at this diner and we could not be more satisfied. The service, food and atmosphere were all fantastic. Had the full rack of ribs which came w/ soup and salad and could not finish meal, because everything was so delicious.Will definitely go back again.

I love this place. Service is always wonderful and kind. The food is pure perfection. Definitely a great place for dinner classics with an insane menu from every type of burger, paninis, Italian, seafood, Greek and so much more including fresh made desserts and soup that taste like heaven! Ive eaten here 4 times and the menu keeps evolving and easily personalized to your liking.
Good food and good service
This place was great! The menu selections covered more than 4 pages. I ordered the open faced roast beef and it came with a delicious bean salad appetizer, soup, salad and bread.After eating all of this, when my main coarse came I didnt have any room left to eat it! Before packaging it to go, I did sample it and it was as delicious as the rest of the courses.The best part? All of this for less than $20 bucks, and friendly service as a bonus! I will be back for their baklava. It looked amazing but I just couldnt eat another bite. Thanks for a great meal!
I just absolutely love this place! Will miss it when I move. Everyone is great: Kathleen (my favorite waitress), Nat (favorite hostess) and George (one of the owners). Service is great and food is amazing esp the breakfast menu!!

Outstanding breakfast this morning under a tent with excellent service. The good feeling of sitting down outside on a perfect morning was great.
Extensive diner menu. We were looking forward to classic NJ diner experience. Instead we got a mixed bag. Service was slow and burger tasted like the breakfast menu. Grilled cheese and bacon was cooked to perfection, but lemons in iced tea tasted like the onions that had been sliced before them. We wont be trying this one again.
Great food. Great service. Great decor. Modest prices. A wide variety of things to eat. Breakfast 24/7. If you have never had it before try the matzo ball chicken soup.
I’ve refrained from leaving bad reviews during times like this but this place deserves it ... when placing an order say everything as clear as possible 3x and hope they actually get it right ... my milkshake was like soup so I asked for another one and it was the same (can’t make a milkshake, ordered mozz sticks I got these weird fried mozz half circles that were terrible and they were looking all around for my order because they took my name down as “Jonathan” my name is Domenic....
