Say what you will...but I love this store. Staffs always helpful and friendly. I had a few paintings framed, they all came out fantastic! The wife and I always come to this shop for our art needs!! Definitely thumbs up worthy!

Store has a million ideas and possibilities for all types of projects. Love the selection.The staff on the other hand is rude, disrespectful, and makes going there a chore now. I use to love michaels but having employees follow you around talking your ear off and taking your attention off what you came there for in the beginning is what makes this store not worth recommending it and suggesting others to take the extra drive to Harrisonburg to that michaels store or hobby lobby.

Michaels has SO MANY beautiful items!! I had to get in there & get some scrapbook paper pads- they are on sale B1G2!! So I spent $20 & received 3 of those pads, 12×12 24 designs, 48 sheets... do the math on how cheap that is!! So, I stocked up. Valentines items are 40% off... it was a great sale scoop but of course, I had to get a few other things that werent on sale but, I will be set for awhile to craft away!! The cashier was nice, friendly, & competent. She was a little slow but, I had a cart full items!!

Limited stock and staff but they were doing the very best they could.

Michaels is a pretty good craft store but all crafters wont be happy with the lack of some crafting materials. Needlework crafters will find embroidery floss but a miniscule selection of embroidery fabric and other supplies. Fabric selection is less than Walmart carries. If you are looking for fabric for your sewing needs, youll need to look elsewhere. Its apparent that Michaels doesnt follow craft trends and stocking or reducing products as the demands ebb and flow. I am pleased that this location keeps their embroidery floss pretty well stocked and I truly appreciate that! I also think its great that you can order floss for curbside pick-up! Thank you for that!!!

I could spend hours in this store. I have gotten back into Crochet. It started with making personal masks to wear. Now I am working on a blanket. I found my crushed velvet yarn at Michaels. This store is amazing with all kinds of craft materials. Their sales are great. I am looking forward to seeing what yarns they will be stocking for fall. The staff are super friendly. They also have everything marked for COVID-19 to keep people 6 feet apart. Also to wear a mask.

Overpriced stuff that you can get at DG for less than half their price

Seasonal merchandise is displayed promptly and together, not running all over the store to find promotional areas.sewing needs, yarn and accessories, baking and household items,hobby crafts, frames. Good one stop place for the person that loves to beautify home.

Loved it, had a nice selection, kinda pricey for me, but still nice and enjoyed just looking.

The attendants at this store are very helpful and polite with customers. At the cash register they even helped us with a coupon since we didnt come to the store with one! How sweet is that!

Definitely not worth going right now, customers not wearing masks or keeping ANY distance. Felt very unsafe, and actually just dropped my items. Wouldnt recommend going until things are better.

Love shopping here. They have a great selection of arts and crafts products. They also have something mark down at all times. They also offer discounts if you know to ask for them. For example they give senior citizen discounts. They are very customer-friendly. The sales clerks are knowledgeable friendly and available. One of my favorite places to go to pick up things for my arts and crafts projects.

A little hectic during the holiday. Staff had trouble controlling many rude and invasive customers and stiocking shelves so the isles were a little cramped with stock as they helped customers. Mask policy was not very enforced.

On July 12, 2019 I was returning flowers that I originally purchased on May 21, 2019. Michaels has an 180 day return policy. Yes thats right. Isnt that just amazing? I recommend shopping at Michaels for all your craft projects 😁. Enjoy your thrifty shopping!!!!

The store itself is great as far as variety of items they carry and prices arent bad. They give out great coupons too. I was back and forth on rather to give them 3 or 4 stars due only to the lack of friendly employees and sadly management isnt any better. If you dont need help finding what you want, dont mind employees who all seem to be having a bad day everyday they show up for work and can ignore rude attitudes from their staff then you will have no problem. If you value customer service satisfaction or need help finding something there,i suggest you drive the extra 30 mins up the road to the hobby lobby instead.

Great crafts for kids

Was just browsing away with my family, store was clean, employees were great, one man in particular was very friendly and we had him at checkout too perfect blend of attentive but not overbearing and very nice to our little girl, he let her have her dinosaur after he rang it up, and helped me enroll in the rewards program. Store was also clean which is a big plus!

I always find what Im looking for be it drawing, beads, paints or yarn. The projects for kids are fun learning experiences. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store clean and organized lots to choose from.

I can always find what I want or need. Sometimes I just like to wander around the store and admire the variety they offer.

I forgot a bag when I left the store and when a returned an hour later, they had held onto the bag for me behind the counter. The people here are always so nice and theyll usually scan extra coupons for me until I get the best deal possible

Almost always has what Im looking for along with a few extras. Wish the stickers were in sale more often. I do love to wander the aisles of this store. They also do classes to help teach you new art forms if youre interested. Staff is always pleasant to converse with and can usually help me find what Im looking for.

I love this store! The sales are great! I usually shop over an hour every time I visit this store which is quite often. They have an excellent selection of flowers every season.

First time there. The little guy that was the cashier complained because we had too many flowers for him to ring up.

We got the best attendance. We found an item .

It has more yarn than Wallmart & I like looking at all the flowers and decor.

The people were friendly and helpful, the store was clean and well organized, and its in a good location. It does seem to be geared for certain crafts and very little for what I was looking for. If you are looking for more popular craft items, then you will love this store.

Went here twice for a project I was working on. There is a wide selection overall, although I did notice quite a few things that appeared out of stock on both visits so I wasnt quite able to get everything I needed.

I searched all over town for an American stick type Flag for my Fathers grave, not only did Michaels carry it, but a very busy store employee took the time to show me exactly where they were located in the store. I will be back to shop with them again!

Went to make a return for the second time for something defective wanted to get a replacement that matched another album that I had bought I opened two more at the store that were also defective and they were getting upset that I wanted to open another one before I left the store and would have to come back if it was something wrong with it. I ended swapping the two originals for two new ones brought them home havent opened them yet Im hoping theyre good. Seems like the quality of some of the merchandise isnt up to par. The sales people that I dealt with were very very nice and were trying to be very accommodating

Amazing I got my first 12 copic sketch makers here and I love using them so much. Also it really got me back into art. Also got some primacolor pencils for sketching and the are really nice. Michaels has an amazing selection for all your art needs.

It covers the entire arts and crafts world. Their framing is the best Ive seen.

Good selection, but their service buttons dont always work so it can be quite a wait for assistance if you dont know.

They always have everything I need for any of my crafting projects. It is also a good place to go if you need inspiration to get started on a project.

The cashier had an issue with the computer system during a tax exempt purchase, and asked another cashier to help. He then asked a Manager walking by to assist. She said she was too busy and was going to a Manager meeting. After a time she was called again to the front. She said we needed to fill the paperwork out again, even though it was still on the counter. I said no. She didnt like that and said I was rude. I replied she had not seen rude yet, however I was not going to be kept there while they fixed their system problem. She called for another Manager who apparently was too busy in the meeting to respond. We said all we needed was a receipt and they could fix their computer problem. She produced a receipt and said it wasnt her fault. The original cashier was the only one to apologise.
