Staff was wearing masks properly.Got the magazines I was looking for. They have THE best magazine assortment. Literally something for everybody!! We went there at 10am when it opened and were the only customers. Great time to check out BAM.

Large lovely bookstore with an enormous selection of books. All categories had a broad range of choices. It appears that they used to have a cafe but apparently it fell victim to covid.

I love this place mostly for manga!! And thats why Im giving it five stars. The customer service isnt horrible.

Visit this location to purchase a few magazines and check out the selection of books. wasnt quite welcomed here. two of the females sales reps didnt want to answer any of my questions hardly. no body doesnt seem to know customer service any more. everybody seems to barely want to do there job. I managed to find a few things despite the bad customer service. next time visiting here, I will be kind of reluctant to step in there for anything.

I love this store! Its a favorite gift-shopping place. Aside from the huge book selection, they have cards, a selection of toys and collectibles related to book series, reading accessories like book lights and bookmarks, journals, gift bags, all kinds of unexpected fun things! Love the childrens book section. Staff is very helpful and friendly, always a pleasure to deal with!

BAM is always clean and the workers are friendly. I only wish there were more diverse romance novels, specifically aiming for the LGBTQ+ community.

B-A-M is nice; seems to have a pretty good selection. I was there for childrens books and Im very particular. Only downside is I did not see too much geared towards boys. Dont know if that because theres not much written for boys under 10 or what. Plenty of checkout staff. Everyone was friendly.

My husband just passed, I just went to this store asking for books on estate planning and next steps after losing a loved one. The manager, loudly and rudely announced there is literally a journal over there that says, Im dead, now what! Continued as heads turned at the register. I went in search myself, found an associate who lead me to the real estate section, called up to this manager who again announced this journal. I stated it was a totally inappropriate book, I just lost my husband, I turned and left, as I left the store the managers condescending you have a GREAT day! says it all about this store.

They have excellent clearance sales on a large selection of books. Also, their Christian section is awesome.

Decent bookstore. Im pretty sure the bargain section (which is my favorite part) has gotten smaller.

If its not instore its online. I managed to get two of the books online at this location. There were also other selections and categories in store that met my needs in other areas. Whenever Im in the area Ill stop in again. Staff was courteous and resourceful.

Book stores are my favorite and this one holds a special place in my heart. The staff always encourage us to review them, so you know theyre good. Greeting, answering questions, hunting down items and making recommendations. Love it!

How can you go wrong? Not onlybdo they have a wide selection of books, you could acquire a beautiful leather bound journal, a set if tarot cards, almost any manga you could imagine, or a nice hot cup of coffee. Service is always fast, knowledgeable and friendly.

One of my granddaughters enjoy reading books so my wife and I take her to BAM and purchased her more books to read. I want her read books to get knowledge she can use for school and entertainment.

Store is filled with ALL sorts of goodies for everyone of all ages! It was nice to get lost in the isles and find all kinds of things! I didnt find the book I was looking for, but enjoyed the knickknacks. Love the kids section, but the toys and such are largely over priced.

Good place for quick gifts.

No one on the floor to help. More of a nice warehouse. The only people who have the slightest clue are behind the cash register so they cant come out on the floor.

They have little to no Westerns. No hard covers.

More than just books here, guys. An incredible selection of geek/nerd stuff, games, journals, all sorts of stuff. The staff is very helpful and will even order you something if you cant find it. They have a cafe for coffee as you browse!

Though no Barnes and Noble this is a good bookstore that is like one. Nice selection of books and items. Good prices in clearance section.

Decent selection of comic books. Main reason I go there. Its well organized and staff is nice. I just hate how they constantly bombard you with the magazine subscriptions. I had to argue with a employee there for a while to just let me pay and leave without a subscription. It was very awkward.

BAM is yet another big box bookstore, essentially B&N without the market dominance. Same cafe, same displays, same books, same toys. An also-ran. Not as good, fun, or interesting as the worst used bookstore. Great for passing time. I foresee Amazon or B&N buying them out, but for now, theyre harmless beneficial alternative, without actually being very alternative. Id love to see them make a distinction about anything, like variety, service, or in-store markets.

Looked for a book. The man who helped me was very nice, and polite and made sure to help me order the book I needed. He wrote all the details of the order down and when he saw I was struggling he dropped everything to help. All the sections of the store are labelled wich really helps. Very quiet and nice place to find any kind of book! Love going here for all a booklovers needs

I absolutely love this place, better version of a Barnes & Noble basically. Atmosphere is clean and smells of new books, there are places to sit and enjoy reading (which there are no longer in Barnes & Nobles in case you hadnt noticed).They have a huge comic book selection for us comic nerds out there, huge selection of graphic novels too, lots of toys, music, & accessories (so they dont just offer books here, theres something for everybody), etc. etc. Also, Joe Muggs coffee shop is miles better than Starbucks, probably not popular to say so but its true... And honestly I kind of like the fact that its never busy, it reminds me of what coffee shops used to be back in the day pre mid 90s. Also if you have their membership you get crazy deep discounts on things. I know we live in the age of everything is available online but sometimes it helps to actually go to a physical location like this and see whats out there first. Also, they put a lot of variant cover comic books (fried pie variants) out that can only be bought in-store, a little incentive to actually go to a location and look around ;) Enjoy all, I know I do.

Manager didnt know how to cancel online order, told me they dont do onlinenpuck up when sign in front of her said to order online & pick up there. No one offered t0 see if they had or could get what I was looking for, a cookbook.

Two weeks ago, I purchased two books from Books-A-Million as a gift. After buying them, I decided upon a different gift and left the books and receipt in the bag untouched. Today, exactly two weeks and one day later, I attempted to return the books. The general manager informed me that the return policy was only two weeks and I would not be able to get my money back. I explained that such a short return policy time would discourage me from shopping there and she promptly said that two weeks is very normal protocol. What?!?!? I cannot think of another national retailer that has such a brief return time. I will not be shopping at this store again.

A great place to buy books as well as magazines, toys, and gifts. The store has a large selection of fandom merchandise (Pop! vinyl figures, plushes, t-shirts, and miscellaneous memorabilia). Includes a decent comic book and manga section. The bargain book section is a great place to browse, you can sometimes find great stuff here. This Books-A-Million also has a cafe/coffee shop where you can sit and enjoy your purchases.
