Good pricing. Efficient and Courteous staff. Excellent produce, meats, and canned goods. Cannot complain!

2 lines open on a Saturday- Really…I know everyone is trying to hire but this is terrible. Managers and whoever can should be stepping in when it is 7 people deep in both lanes. Most people will help bag so baggers could check out too. NEVER should have closed the 250 store!

Lunch time and they didnt have any fried chicken other than a couple thighs and wings. I wanted to use my card as credit at the pharmacy but I couldnt and was told it was my bank. That isnt true.

I have always been a Customer at this location; the Employees are great here, always so friendly & willing to help you find whatever you’re looking for. I am so happy that Kroger has picked up the speed & started offering Pickup. Pickup is sometimes so much more convenient than going inside. And when picking up an order; they are quick to come outside & load your groceries into your vehicle.

Chronically understaffed. No carts in the corral; had to walk back to the end of the parking lot to find one. Nobody at the front desk at noon on a Saturday with nobody available to staff it. Long lines and only a couple checkout lanes open; self checkout takes forever if you need assistance (like ID for alcohol) since there is only 1 attendant and 6 stations. Double check the dates before buying anything because weve found expired stuff on the shelves often. Its ok but I really wish there were better options here.

Great store, but there was only one register open until I got through the checkout line. Even then Injad to load my own groceries into the cart.

I have always been able to get what I need at a reasonable price. Also, they do not keep changing the location of items so I know where to go and can be more efficient. Now they have a good line of reasonably priced organic foods too.

The store serves its purpose as a local shopping place to pick up all your daily household needs as well as groceries. I wish they still served the 4x4 sandwiches. I used to get those at the Charlottesville location many years ago...

I love this store. It is just the right size - I do not like the great big stores. Walmart may be cheaper but who wants to contend with that big store and horrible parking? The staff are wonderful. They go out of their way to help you. It may look a bit dated but it is our neighborhood store. I used to drive from Earlysville to shop in this store and Id do it again.

Great store. I love that its always open. Decent prices. Good sales. I do wish there were more organic choices. Now they have closed the other Kroger. So, expect this one to be extremely crowded during normal shopping hours. This overcrowding has caused me to start shopping elsewhere. Its a shame. I loved this store.

Everyone is friendly and the store is clean

Had my 2yr old and I wait for 15 mins bc noone can run customer service desk I came in needing to pick up a western union and it’s an emergency and not even a manager can help me

I was just in there went in about 3 a.m. this morning came out about 6 a.m. . I like going in there after I get off work at night because its so much, quieter and more peaceful. It gives me time to be able to check out the labels look around for sales as well as clearance items. You can always find someone to help you at night because the store is not so crowded and everyone else trying to get to the sales associate to ask him a question. All the night employees there are very Pleasant and Ive been doing this for about 6 months now twice a week and Ive come to know the night shift Kroger Associates very well. I look forward to my next visit next week.

This store has about anything that you need and its convenient. The only negative aspect is that the staff seem to constantly watch you and make you feel as if they think you are some kind of criminal. It wasnt deserved or appreciated.

The pharmacy has always been great . Good quality meats. Dont rearrange store isles again PLEASE. The fact I can shop and find things easily means a lot. Time is valuable to me.

The workers there are always pleasant every time I have gone in there. The cashier and bagger I had today were outstanding, and ensured everything was bagged properly and that I had found everything okay.The store has always been clean when I have gone in there as well. The only knock I have is that I always seem to go in after their doughnuts have been sold out-which is on me for not going at the right time.

I love Kroger on Arch. The workers their are always friendly. You never have any problem their. The workers their are fun and loving people just like myself. Seams you always leave with a smile.

Had a horrible experience last night. Was treated as though I was trying to steal. All because the cashier did not know how to process a check! I asked for a manager and he told me “she said” when I left very irate I called back and asked to speak to a manager and a man answered and said no one notified him of any issues. Put in a complaint to corporate about the way I was treated and am waiting to hear back. I typically spend about $200-300 a week here multiple times a week and I will be taking my money elsewhere from now on!

A good variety of important organic foods... as with many grocery stores this could be greatly improved to ensure poisons of insecticides and bad side effects of GMOs are not being sold to the customers.

I love this store. The staff especially. I have been shopping there several times a week for the past 7 years and everyone is always so helpful and kind. They remember us, and always take time to interact with my little girl.

Been 2 years self checkout machines still terrible and they will not fix them..The machine stopped scanning 8 times on a 14 item purchase. Kroger has the associate checking everything like everyone a thief..

Expensive

Dont visit after 8:30pm they will force you to use self checkout and wont assist no matter how much you have. They need to keep at least 1 checkout open. I left my cart tonight and Walmart got my business.

Not a big fan of this Kroger. First of all, I was totally bummed when the Lew Dewitt store closed. It was like shopping with family. The store was always clean, great food and awesome produce. I visited Arch ave. Kroger last week. Crowded, seemed to be missing a lot of items, layout of the aisles were a bit unorganized and not as clean feeling as the Lew Dewitt store (I am being kind here). If and when I shop at Kroger (both stores are not in convenient locations for me), I will shop at the more upscale Staunton store. Sadly, neither store compares to the friendliness and great shopping experience that was at the Lou Dewitt store. I miss everyone of the great employees as well as the service and fresh food!

Love the store but I live in Waynesboro so I usually shop there. But you have a fine store.

The floors are filthy. They have been for years. I know people who shop elsewhere because the place is so dirty. I do most of my shopping at other stores so well because of this.I have notified management of the filthy floors for years. They have done nothing.

Open 24 hours useful location. Interior design is dated. One employee Lisa was extremely rude to me. I spoke with store manager. I recommend reporting employees to management instead of condemning the store as a whole.

I grew up with this store so its near and dear to my heart. Theyve always had the best foods.

The building could use an update but Ive found the employees mostly to be very pleasant and helpful, especially the younger staff. Kroger mails us great coupons. Im curious to see how the new Walmart Market will compete. Walmart is not known for great customer service. Im fine to continue shopping at the older Kroger if the staff there is more friendly.

Grand reopening? No. 1. Figure out where the bathroom is there are two signs which are misleading. 2. Why were there Hazardous Materials near the bathroom? 3.Why were their garbage bags laying on the floor near the entrance? 4. The floors didnt look new. 5. It felt like a very dirty store. Please fix these and other things I would really appreciate it.-Fuzzball

Employees are very nice . I had a problem where items that was on sale didnt ring up as sale price associate sent me to customer service desk to have problem taking care of . the lady at customer service was really nice and made sure I got credit for everything that was on sale . and wanted me to double check to make sure everything was completly taking care of before I left Kroger on arch ave in waynesboro. amazing staff that works there.

This kroger has the absolute best customer service of any store Ive been too. Even the pharmacy is 5 star.

This Kroger is dirty and produce is terrible. I stopped going here because the employees would smoke out front of the entrance. The entire store has a old musty smell. Better to drive across town to Martins or the other Kroger.

Overall this isnt a bad Kroger location but the look and feel of the inside of the store could be a little more welcoming. To me it feels crowded and confusing as soon as you walk in.

The building is definitely old, but the staff are friendly and the danishes I picked up from the bakery were good!

The Deli gets worse by the minute, you have to wait for service, not friendly and they act like you are bothering them. I leave 2 blocks away and truly like some of the employees but managament is not working.

This store is a full service Kroger. It is of good enough size for the city its in and is very close to downtown Waynesboro, within walking distance of Fishburn Military School. It also contains a pharmacy inside.What some of us could not figure out was why is the entrance and exit doors switched around, making you have to run through people on the way in and on the way back out...

Good food lowest prices.

To far into town for me to go to but other than that pretty good store.

This location is a little bit more run down than other locations. The store has a dated feel and the produce is usually not as good as other grocers nearby, but the customer service is always pleasant.

It has an adequate store. Parking lot is always dirty. Scotters available for handicapped but difficult to retrieve.

My only real complaint is the overcrowded parking lot. With the oversized trucks and SUVs that people seem to favor now, theres quite a few blind spots, and some folks dont care if they park in only one space.
