Over that last 12 years we have enjoyed utilizing Taylors Service Dept and have purchased several vehicles from them. We just purchased a used Lincoln and did so mostly due to Taylors ability to service it during the warranty period and after it expires. Travis the service writer is a great asset to Taylor!

Update-two of the tires on the truck I purchased had OK tread but didn’t pass inspection because they were dry rotted. Again, my fault for not inspecting them more closely but I would hope a Ford dealership would catch things like this.Overall pleased with my used car purchasing experience. Three issues forced me to lower my rating. The first was some serious rust (holes) on the truck bed. The failure to disclose was possibly inadvertent. When I pointed out the problem to the dealership they took a significant discount off the purchase price.The second issue was discovered after the purchase. The actuator motor for the heater/AC was burned out. This made the truck constantly blow hot air. It was a cheap fix for us since we are handy but it brings me to my final issue.My assumption was that there would be some sort of minimal warranty (1 week/1k miles). I was informed that there was nothing but that the folks at the dealership “were fair” and would help us if needed.I would use them again but be cautious with the pre purchase inspection.

I had a great experience with my vehicle purchase. Sean Cash assisted me and he was awesome. He was knowledgeable and helped me navigate through the car buying process. This was my first vehicle purchase through a dealer so I was a bit lost in the process and nervous. I had visited several other dealerships in Waynesville and Asheville area. Ultimately returning to Taylors as they were welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Sean was courteous, honest, and answered all my questions. I would most definitely recommend them! I like the GMC sierra 1500 very much but I am disappointed that I have not had the truck a month and I am having to put the truck in the shop for a power steering issue that should have been fixed before it was sold. I came by with my husband and baby to check out the Rangers. There was a great one on the lot and we were able to test drive it really easily. My only complaint would be that the salesperson came out with their mask below their nose and I asked that he wear it over his nose while he was helping me which he did momentarily but then was wearing it incorrectly for the rest of the time we were there. Whatever ones personal beliefs about COVID are, I just feel like it should be a company policy when working with the public to require the sales team to wear masks correctly when working with customers, especially customers who have made it clear that it is important to them. I wouldnt consider buying a car with a sales person who refused to comply with a request like that, I just wouldnt feel comfortable with the rest of the transaction.

I had inquired about a Jeep Wrangler I had seen on their website and the next day I had planned on going out to test drive it. As soon as I had pulled up Stacey came out to greet me. I had interest in a vehicle at Taylor Ford that I found online, and Sean on the sales team was excellent. He kept me updated on its availability and progress over several days as it was prepped to go on the lot, and let me see the vehicle. He was pleasant to work with, and knowledgeable about that vehicle, specifics of its history, and other options for comparison. Working with Sean and the sales team was one of the best experiences I’ve had in buying a car. Even in coming to an agreement on a possible trade-in vehicle, everyone was professional and friendly throughout the process. I was impressed that the sales manager came out and talked to me himself rather than playing the “back and forth game” with sales team members that many dealerships often do. I will definitely consider this dealership in the future for both vehicles and service. It was clear that everyone I worked with values their customers and knows what is important in helping them feel welcome and comfortable.

I was pleased with the way the trade was handled. I of course would have like to gotten more on the trade but I realize the excessive miles on my car. Mr. Ellis was very accommodating and was not high pressure which would have been a huge turn -off for me. The F&I went well and the car was extremely clean and ready when picked up. I want to say that there was a difference of opinion between myself and one of the service shop attendants at Taylors ford. This was in reference to the virus and the precautions that would be taken during the time my car was being serviced. I called to explain what happened to the manager and told him that i ended up leaving without my car being serviced and would not be using them again as a result of the conflict. He not only apologized profusely but also gave me my service on the vehicle for free. They were very kind to me when I arrived back at dealership and treated me great. I am thankful and will be returning to have my car serviced and new tires and lift kit put on. Thank you Dean for making things right!

For some reason my name was not on the calendar for my scheduled checkup. However, I was greeted warmly, gave instructions and went shopping. My car was ready in less time than I was told it may take and the manager walked me out to my car to adjust the clock to Daylight Savings Time. I have a 2004 Ford GT convertible 40th Anniversary. Driving it up to Maggie Valley NC from Monroe NC Sunday 7/19, got into our campground and going down hill lost all brakes, went to floor and lost power steering. It was taken to Taylor on Monday 7/20. We were called to pick it up Friday 7/24 and was told the power steering pump had to be replaced and that power steering and brakes were fine.Yesterday Saturday 7/26, my friend and I were riding through Waynesville and when I hit my brakes to stop at a red light at Russ Ave where the taco truck sits, my brakes went to the floor. That is a busy intersection. Amazingly the light changed to green and I was able to go straight across and turn left to go up into the lower part of Ingles parking lot. No brakes, but power steering was fine. Able to stop by using hand brake.Right front tire was smoking horribly and the center medallion of my rim was gone. So hot you couldn’t touch it.Today 7/27, at present we are waiting on a rollback to pick it up and take it back to Taylor Ford. The tires we have been told were never pulled off to look at the brakes. ???I will finish this review fairly and honestly when we find out why I had no brakes and this is resolved. Right now... not a happy lady.

I have bought a lot of cars during my life but found this dealer to be one of the exceptional dealers. They are friendly, honest and offer great prices. NO DOC FEES which means they do not play games. What they say will be done. I drove 100 miles to pick up my used car and was concerned I would be given the run around since it was all telephone calls prior to my purchase. I was surprised how professional they were and the Mustang was as promised. This was a 12 year old car but their description was perfect. I highly recommend this dealership. My compliments to my sales person, Leslie Baker and the management team for making this a professional experience. Lastly I had some work done on the car and they paid a good portions of the bill. When I signed the contract it stated there was no warranty but when a couple of unknown issues were found they stepped up and helped with the bill. How many dealer would do that? NOT MANY, only the best dealers..

The paint is coming off my truck and it only has 11,600 miles and not even 2 years old. I can’t put all the blame on Taylor’s because Ford refuses to stand behind their product. But if I were Taylor’s and having their own body shop I think I would want to at least try to take better care of a customer that trades trucks every 2 to 3 years. I’m the type of customer that if they try to help me then I’ll be a customer for life. Guess I’ll be looking at different brands of vehicles when I get ready to trade.

After looking for weeks, I found the used car I wanted (via CarGurus) at Taylor Ford of Waynesville. I drove over from Knoxville and had a great experience buying a car that I love. Stacey Howell was great. Salesmen from other dealerships (in Asheville, Charlotte) were pushy and I didnt trust them (especially after one tried to pressure me into taking out a 72 month loan). Stacey had a calm and pleasant manner and I trusted him, which was a great relief. I had financing from my credit union, but Taylor Ford gave me a better rate. I had the car checked out at Appalachian Automotive, which was also a pleasant experience. Your mileage may vary; I didnt need to haggle over a trade-in or the price, so that may have helped. I would definitely buy from them again.

She arranged for my repairs to be paid by the place I bought it (it was under their warranty), and got me in a rental car so I didnt have to be without!!! Im really disappointed with this dealership. Took my f150 here to have them fix my steering. They said they agreed there is something wrong and that I should take it back to where I bought it and have them fix it. Since it was under warranty. I took it to Ken Wilson ford and they are fixing it. I dont understand why they couldnt fix it.

I came to Taylors just to look at options about downsizing my large SUV to a smaller version. Sean Cash came out as I was looking at the Explorers and started showing me all the options and practically had me sold on it by his vast knowledge of the vehicle and his thorough demonstration. I cant go higher than 2 stars because Im currently sitting in a Subaru dealership waiting to pay around $300 for a key fob. Taylors people were very nice, and I love my new car. However, call me old fashioned, but I think every car should come with 2 keys. Had I known there was only 1 and a second one would cost $300, I would have bought my car somewhere else. Ask- dont assume!!

Bought a 2018 ford 150 and was getting around 21 mpg when I first purchased it. Dealer installed wheels and one size bigger tire with 1k miles on truck and got around 19 mpg which was to be expected. Transmission started shifting hard and slipping around 13k miles and made an appt. The service dept said there was a tsb on the transmission so they flashed it. Immediately I noticed a decrease in gas mileage to around 12 mpg. Contacted service department about issue and they told me that the flash would take up to 2k miles to notice a change. After 3k miles took it back and was told everything was within spec and still getting 12 mpg and hard shifting. Picked the truck up still having the problem and put another 2k miles on it before I took it back for the existing issues. They done nothing to it and said everything was within spec again so now I’m just stuck with a $50k truck with problems that can’t be fixed even with it being under warranty. They called Ford Motor Company and red flagged me saying it was all do to the aftermarket wheels and tires. The dealings I had with the service dept was very unprofessional. Although the salesman has been great through it all I will never recommend anyone to them again do to the service dept.

I brought my 2018 Ford Escape in performing smoothly but it had an engine knock. I got it back from Taylor idling rough with lagging acceleration, jerky shifting, and declining fuel efficiency - but the knock is gone. Taylor said its performing within Fords acceptable guidelines, nothing they can do about it. This car was already the result of a VLA buyback for one Ford lemon (2018 Ford Focus), now Im stuck with another mess I expect to fail thanks to whatever Taylor messed up in it. Ill never buy another Ford, and have nothing good to say about the company or this dealership. Spare me your canned response, calling your number hasnt fixed anything.

Recently, I was in the market to trade my car for a more fuel efficient model since I commute to work 5 days each week and I wanted to trade down and reduce fuel costs. I went to several dealerships and looked at many highly rated fuel efficient vehicles. The sales people, managers and finance department at Taylor Ford were very helpful and made the process as painless as possible. I have often said I would rather go to the dentist than have to buy a car.Stacy Howell and Gordon Prince were very helpful and really worked with me to reach my goals. My husband and I purchased a certified used 2013 Ford Fusion today at Taylor Ford from Stacey Howell. My husband remarked that it was the most pleasant experience he ever had purchasing a car. Stacey was wonderful and spent a lot of time with us over the last week. It was more like having assistance buying a car rather than being pressured. This is truly a hometown dealer. Would have given 4 stars, but when I took my car in for a scheduled recall issue, they had given my parts to someone else and did not call to let me know. It is a 45 min drive to the dealer. It has been over two weeks and I have still not received a call about the parts to fix the recall. Oil changes and tire rotations are top notch.

Dropped my car off for an oil change before heading to Savannah for the weekend. I dropped it off at 8:00 and Ricky had it ready by 12:00 as he had promised. I told him we were going on a road trip and to have them just kind of look it over. He called to let me know that I needed an airfilter as well as a power steering flush and recommended it be done before going on such a long trip. They did a great job and i apprieciate their hard work.

I was a little disappointed about the wait I had for my oil change. It took several calls and two tries to finally get in. It also took 1.5 hours of waiting. In all fairness to them, it was right before the Thanksgiving holidays. Normally my experience has been great and Im confident it will be again. I miss the convenience of being able to make an appointment to get an oil change.

I tend to research a lot before I buy so I knew pretty much what I wanted when I went in to the dealership. They had already sold the used vehicle my husband and I had originally looked at on the lot, so we figured we would need to follow up at some other cars we had looked at elsewhere because we didnt think Taylor could match their price. Nope! They had other vehicles that had just arrived on the lot and more than matched the prices on the other lots. We had a great purchase experience, got a great financing rate through Ford Motor Credit, and follow up was good too. Couldnt be happier.

It was after service dept. hours when I walked in, a mechanic and the sales people were extremely helpful in helping me reach a towing company.Once the truck was there the service dept. people took over. They were very friendly and helpful. A few days later they had the problems fixed and I was back on the road. Im very satisfied with every thing and will definitely use them again.

Apparently in 2017, Taylor Ford has refocused on their pricing/selling strategy. I got a certified pre-owned Explorer at a price that blew any competition away for many miles. Right up front, no haggling.... everyone was very friendly and laid back, and I felt zero sales pressure. LOVE my Explorer and my experience! Oh, and the 1.9% financing for a CPO vehicle!!!!!

I choose Taylor because I trust them. They do the work they are suppose to do and do it well without telling me I have $1600.00 worth of work that needs to be done. I took my Minivan for a recall like I did this week with my Escape, but to another local dealer. They did the recall and did not want to release my minivan because it needed the $1600.00 worth of repairs. I finally got my minivan and took it to a local mechanic who looked it over with the checklist of problems. The only thing he found was a loose tag light and he tightened it up for me. Taylor has never done this to me. I really appreciate them being honest and trustworthy to a female who is alone. Thank you Taylor.
