My husband and I were visiting my parents from out of town and my tire was leaking air so we brought it here since this was the only place opened at this time of day on a Saturday. We stood for a very long time behind another customer who ended up leaving when they were told to hold on while the guy at the front desk checked on the status of his tires in the back. The customer told me to tell the guy that he was taking his business elsewhere. The guy at the desk had seen us and never spoke a word to us and never returned to the front desk so we almost left, however Andy, one of the mechanics, happened to come in and see us standing there and asked how he could help us, we told him we just needed a quick tire repair and he saved the day, got us in and out quickly and fixed the tire! Thank you, Andy for making what started as a bad experience, a great one and the tire still works great!

Mark and his crew went above and beyond and absolutely saved our trip! A team member drove to get us a special tire for our Italian car when we got a flat nearby. They got us fixed up and out the door QUICKLY! Great customer service and super friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I have used this place since they used to be, Mountain View Tire and my dad managed the place. Since they were bought out i have only been a couple of times but they were all pleasant experiences and I will be going back. Their employees were welcoming and the mechanics were always willing to explain things to where I could understand and would work with my budget. I dont feel like Ive ever had to wait an exuberant amount of time for services to be completed. I hate that a certain employee no longer works there considering he was the last of the ones that worked for my father, but I will continue to be a customer nonetheless! They have a public waiting area with a nice TV and cable as well as a kept up restroom open to customers.

High priced to balance and rotate tires.Cost more than the dealership. Guy down the street only would have charged us 24.00 to balance and rotate the tires. and half of the cost to repair tire that had a nail in it. Then charged us extra for parts we didnt authorize him to put on.
Very impressed with the service! I came in last minute due to a weird sound my tires were making. Even though they needed to reschedule my appointment they squeezed me in because they didnt want to risk sending me out the door with bad brakes. Turned out my front brakes were shot. I am a single mother. My schedule extremely limited but the safety of my children is priority. Extremely grateful for this location. I will be coming back for regular maintenance and referring others!
They were absolutely terrible. The guy at the counter told me my tire could be changed on my trailer but it would be Monday then I came up they said they didnt have have keys to move it so I gave them the keys and then they still didnt get it done till I got there Today. One of the mechanics was the only guy who was nice at all. The guy at the front desk put me on hold 3 times in a day and I waited 10 mins and he still never answered. Would not reccomend going there unless absolutely necessary.
The manager of this location Jay West, is a liar and a theif, does not honor his own word and is more worried about making his bonus ck. He is disrespectful to employees and refuses to honor the price match guarantee to customers. I contacted the district manager and he seems to not want to address the issue. As a former employee of this location Id say run and dont look backthis company charges for road hazard at 29.95 per tire when almost every other tire store does it for free. Or included in price of tire purchase at 29.95 for all 4. All I can say is watch out for Mr. Tire in waynesville nc.
Jay and his team did a great job repairing my vehicle. After finding a bulge in one of my tires. Jay went out of his way to get Goodyear to give me credit on the defected tire. The tires had not been bought there, but he still took the time to take care of the issue. I will be returning and recommending Mr. Tire for all my auto needs. Thanks, Jay and your team.

The were short with me a while back about tires. Front desk person didnt seem to want to sell me on anything, more just wanted to stop dealing with me I guess. I didnt even say more than a few words.Anyway, now I have carvanna vehicle protection and this place is my local In-Network shop. All I need is a new power window motor, and they seem very annoyed and inconvenienced with having to deal with SilverRock, and they keep telling me one time and then when I arrive its now a different time. I just say Okay I get people are short staffed. But they gave off a general annoyed vibe, and I only need a simple thing that has been paid for, so I dont get it.Anyway, if you have carvanna and use SilverRock protection plan, this place will likely mistreat you and act visibly irritated with you and call you the carvanna or whatever people.
I just had a tire plugged at Walmart 2 days ago and traveled out of state to visit friends. I noticed the tire was still going flat and would not hold air. After a quick online search of the local, I found Mr. Tire one of the few open and very close. They got me in fairly quickly, were polite, understanding and provided the best customer service. I highly recommend them!!

I had a coupon for rotating tires with oil change but they said i didnt need rotating but gave me the discount anyway. Checking out Matt made sure everything was finished up since it was late. Needed tires and an oil change after going to Cataloochee a couple times and I was there for less then an hour and I received great service. Vera at the front desk is extremely helpful
Had an appointment for an oil change at noon and it took 45 minutes for them to take it back and another hour for it to be done and now it is sitting outside finished and the mechanic hasn’t brought the key out yet

I went in there with brake failure. They diagnosed the problem and had to keep it over a weekend to complete the repair. I wasnt leaving there without brakes.
Brought my car to Mr Tire for an oil change and they quickly let me know I needed my brakes worked on. They even showed me! I was really impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. They can definitely be trusted and I will be back for all my car care needs.
This shop has cancelled appointments on me 2 times in a row. I’ve tried to get in for an oil change twice in the past couple weeks. The first time they had the excuse that they took on too much work, which was taking longer than expected to get done. No discount but a rescheduled appointment. Just woke went for my rescheduled appointment, and they were saying they were cancelling again because they had nobody on-site who can do an oil change- the simplest of repair work. How does a tire and repair shop not have a guy who can do oil changes? The guy on the phone then started to blame management changes. Don’t bother with these clowns, they’ll just waste your time. Never going back.
This place made us come all the way up there from Sylva, after waiting a week, just to tell us that we didnt need to come up there for our warranty work. We could have had our car fixed by now if they had just told the warranty company over the phone the day they scheduled us that they didnt do electronics.
Had an appointment at 2pm to check if I had a nail in my tire. Took an 1.5 hrs to look for a nail and patch tire. Grease all in my truck. And, someone we went under my back seats, because some of my stuff was on the back seats and other stuff moved around. Not sure why they would need to look under my back passenger seats for a nail in my driver’s side tire.
Tried to call to make an appointment, got no answer (during business hours) Got an automated message that told us to make an appointment online. We did that. Didn’t get a confirmation of the appointment so we called the next morning to confirm. We were told that we did not have an appointment later that day. Ok. Fine. About two hours later we did get a confirmation that our appointment was set. We thought maybe there was a cancellation? Went in at the time of the appointment and were told that we didn’t have an appointment even though we had a confirmation. We were told that the computer doesn’t actually sync with the store computer so the online appointment makes appointments that aren’t really appointments. So why is there an option to make online appointments if they won’t honor them? If the local store doesn’t answer the phone and doesn’t honor appointments made in the manner customers are directed then something needs to change. Will NOt use Mr. Tire again. I’ll stick to the mom and pop shops around town.
I had my tires rotated here today and they did a wonderful job. They had me in and out in 20 minutes and on my way to a family picnic! Greg has exceptional customer service skills. Highly recommend

Here is my 100% accurate description of my experience:I went to Mr Tire Waynesville and ordered new tires on the Monday before Christmas. At that time I made an appointment for the following Monday at 1PM. I showed up on time and was told my total for the tires. Their job was take off my current tires and wheels, move my TPMS to my new rims and mount the new tires on the Jeep. I came back an hour and 15 minutes later and was told they were busy and it would take another 2 hours.So that would be over 3 hours. I was asked to pay and I gave my credit card to process while I read my bill. Im addition to services I did not request, I was charged $149 twice for a tire protection package.I offer this advice, if you must go here, insist on getting your bill FIRST and then look at it AGAIN at time of payment. Fooled me once, shame on them. Not honest and forthcoming in their business practices. They are also understaffed. Run your business right, treat your employees right and you should not be understaffed. They should have told me 3 HOURS+ and I would have gone elsewhere.
I kept having issues with our tires but they found the problem a fixed it it drives like a new car it is a 1993 Chevy caprice/ impala
I have been going to this place as it has changed names and owners. I recently had to have my truck towed here. The staff worked hard to diagnose and repair the issue quickly. I was back driving on the road soon!

Went there for a oil and brake change, got my car back THEY DIDNT PUT OIL IN IT. My motor blew. They didn’t even cover the cost. Had to scrap my car only got like 1000 for it. The motor costed 3000. Very bad service. Would NOT go there.
I got a flat tire driving through the mountains and ended up at Mr. Tire, mostly because they were the closest tire shop open midday on a Saturday. And Im so glad! They were incredibly helpful, honest, and straight shooters, which is such a breath of fresh air when youre a female walking into a mechanic shop. When I asked if I needed to go ahead and get all four new tires, he assessed my tires and recommended only getting two new ones as my other tired still had good tread, which spoke volumes to me. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be coming back to give them my business! Highly recommend!
Loretta, the Waynesville Mr. Tire manager, lied to me. In September 2019 I purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance all seasons tires with a road hazard warranty from this location. On 8/31/2020 I got a flat tire. So I took my car into Mr. Tire to have them either patch it or replace the tire. After looking at it they said it was not something they could patch. Which I figured because it was a large hole . Then Im told that they dont have the Good year Assurance tire in stock or any good year tires for my car. Im told that none of their other locations have this tire either and because of COVID 19 they dont know when they will be restocked in this tire. They offer me two other tires of a different brand. Of the two tires they suggest I put on the one that I would have to pay extra for because it is more expensive then what I have on the car. I talk to my husband and we decide that we dont want a different brand tire on our car. They offer me no other option and are unwilling to find the tire that I had on my car. So I leave with a spare tire still on my car. When I get home I call the other Mr. Tire locations around me and it turns out that the very tire that I had asked for was at different location. The Arden location had one of the Good year Assurance all season tires. So they tell me that I can ask the Waynesville location to have that tire sent to them so that they can put it on for me. I call Loretta and she seems reluctant to do this for me but says that she will call the Arden location and see if they acan send it over. She says she will call me back. Well half the day goes by and I never hear back from her. I call her and she says that she has contacted the Arden location and hasnt heard back from them. So I call the Arden location and turns out she hasnt contacted them at all. She lied to me and Im not sure she was ever going to contact them. I will be taking my vehicle to the Arden location and I will not be going back to Mr. Tire in Waynesville. Loretta was unwilling to help me. I had to do her job for her and track down a tire for my car myself. What is the point of having road hazard coverage if when you need to use it they dont want to help you??

This place completely scammed my husband! We brought our car there just for a simple tire rotation only to be notified by them that the cv axle was leaking and we’d need to replace it which we were aware of but hadn’t gotten to yet. So my husband went to buy the cv axle from a local auto shop which was half the price of what they said the part would cost excluding labor. After he brought the part there they later called to say that it wasn’t the correct part, then the called and called again saying this part was broken or this part was wrong and when we finally got our car back the bill was over $700 and when my husband double checked the cv axle that he bought from another auto shop it was indeed the correct part so they just tried to get him to pay more for that part. Never coming here again. Unbelievable.

Purchased 4 tires for my mom’s car from here. Very friendly and good price. It took over 2 hours because of having to re-set the pressure sensors but that was more the car than the tires. My only complaint is I could smell cigarette smoke in the car afterward. I called back and the manager said some of the techs do smoke but not inside. I wasn’t happy about that. Hopefully it will go away. Idk how people go through life smelling like that. Nasty. Keep this in mind and request a non-smoking tech if that bothers you.
Love this place! Very professional, have taken my truck here several times for oil change, towed there when I had a flat tire on I-40, other minor repairs. Always a good experience! Josh, the manager, is excellent. I know we can always trust him and I feel confident he will take care of us. My whole family brings their vehicles there.

I came in for an oil change and state inspection for my 20 year old truck.The truck failed the inspection because the tires were bald, which didnt surprise me. The guys there went out of their way to fit my budget and I left the shop a very happy and satisfied customer.
My granddaughter helped me make an account just so I could say that the Service Manager Alex and the General manager josh are top notch! I drove all over town looking for someone to repair my lawn mower tire. One shop told me it would be 4 hour! Alex took it right back to the garage and had it repaired before I could even finish pouring a cup of their fresh coffee! Then they found me a coupon for a free flat repair! Best service I’ve had in this town in a long time. I will be back with my car soon. Thanks guys!
These people are great! We were driving down to Cape Canaveral when we hit a full tire in the middle of the road. We went airborne and were losing oil quick. They were the only place really open and told us it might be a while. A while was only 30 minutes before they were able to get it on the lift and look at it. Not before long they had a solution and we were able to continue on our trip!

I went to a Firestone near my work and was told that they couldnt patch it because it was too close to the sidewall, but they could sell me a new tire for $135.00!! Went to Mr. Tire near my home, they worked me in, patched it, and Im on my way.
I called Mr. Tire after my wife got a flat passing through. Weve got a awd subaru and she still had more than 300 miles to drive so I didnt want her driving on the spare that long. I spoke to Phil, who was helpful and friendly. They worked us in and replaced two tires in about 30 minutes and got my wife back on her way. They didnt try pushing any unnecessary products or services on my wife and she found the experience about as easy as it gets. If we lived nearby, theyd be our new go to.

I must say I am disappointed. I went for an oil change, found only 1 guy on duty too busy to do an oil change. Said I could come back Monday, which would be great if I didnt have to work. So, Ill go to work on Monday and take my car where I go for everything. I was hoping to not have to walk back to work but hey, when these guys only have one guy, Im forced to do what I have to. I dont know what their service is lime because they are always too busy. Guess that means they are great since they are always too busy to take walk ins. For what its worth.

Great experience here today! 5 hours into our drive the car overheated. After a tow by AAA we ended up here. The staff was super friendly and they had our issue diagnosed and fixed in no time. This place has a truly awesome staff. Very informative, thorough, and kind. Im rating it at 4 stars for one reason only.I had my windows tinted the day before, and know my back window needs to be redone. Once my tires were done I was approached by an employee who said, we noticed your back tint needs to be redone. Theres a guy up the street that does this work. One of our employees is taking your car there now to have it looked at and will be back shortly.Yes. They drove my car off the lot without my consent to do so, and informed me about it after the employee was already gone. I know this because I had to wait for him to get back.Outside of this, I have no complaints. But this, in my eyes, is very unprofessional. There was no need for my car to be driven off, especially without my knowledge.
We caught a flat tire as we were traveling through the area. It was almost closing time but the friendly staff was willing to fit us in even though they had to stay a little late, to make sure we could get back on the road and get home safely. The work was done quickly and was reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone driving in or through the area.
Very disappointed! I just called them based on these good reviews. The previous asst mgr is gone and spoke with her replacement. Totally different story from new guy than her. I have a Prius that needs a new tire sensor and an F-350 that needs a plug. They wouldnt give me price of sensor unless I told him what a sensor at Toyota cost. And they said I would need a new tire on the F350 not a plug. Toyota plugged another tire with same screw in it and it is fine. I do not call this working with a customer; I call it get as much money as you can from customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
My husband has been coming here for awhile to get oil changes. Upon arrival, the person checking us in today was rude and made the comment of how our appointment wasn’t showing up because it was made online and that we “should have called.” If that is the case, why does the company offer the service of making appointments online to customers? He acted as if it was some big inconvenience. On three different occasions, my husband has been charged a different price for an oil change. After speaking with a manager, she told him it was due to “labor” charges and could give no other explanation. If it is the same service every time, why is there a $10 price change for “labor.” I understand it may take longer during busy times, but it shouldn’t cost more to the customer because they are busy! Also, my husband put a new computer into his vehicle a few days ago and while his oil change was being done, whoever was working on the vehicle carelessly kicked and somehow managed to knock the computer completely out. After paying for the service, my husband came out to his vehicle, opened the door, and saw the computer hanging by wires into the floor board. Upon seeing this, he approached someone working in the shop and they told him that they couldn’t do anything about it because he had already paid and would have to pay more as a “labor charge” to get it fixed!!! Normally, I try to see the benefit of the doubt in all situations; however, I cannot seem to understand why we were treated this way at this establishment. Needless to say, the prices are inconsistent, the customer service was not good, and we will not be back!

We were headed to GA. for our annual mothers day camp out and had a blow out on our camper. Mr. Tire was open a few minutes early and they were the only tire place open before 8:00. Josh was so helpful and courteous. I told him where we were headed and they got us in and out and back on the road quickly. The whole staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Mr. Tire.
Rude person at service desk. They scheduled my appointment on a Wednesday at 8:30AM. Dropped car off. Called at 2:30 for update since no one called me. Was told couldnt get to car until next day because they were very busy. I asked why they scheduled me for that time if couldnt get to car until next day and when did they know this and why didnt they call to inform me.I got no answer except will take care of it tomorrow.. I have been taking my cars there since 2014. It was great under the personnel of Clark Tire. The new personnel could use more customer service training. Its sad as I was very happy but looking as though I may have to find a new place.
I was on vacation and headed home to the coast when I discovered a bolt in my tire. They worked me in and found the tires I needed in another town and picked them up for me! Took a while but not their fault. They put me back on the road with a quality tire at a competitive price and we arrived home safely . Great experience! Thanks
We were travelling through a few weeks ago and realized we had a screw stuck in a tire. Came here and they helped us out. Quick and friendly.
