Went in there were only 2 workers both who were busy with customers at the time didnt care to wait for my turn except they didnt acknowledge me and my family at all didnt take the time to tell us they would be with us in a moment so after about 10-15 minutes we decided to go to the bigger store by Walmart

I went in today to get a phone for my 14 year old daughter and add her to our plan. Aaron was so helpful! I went in to this location last night because my phone wouldnt hold a charge. Chris was quick to greet me and told me that I probably needed a new phone. He was very helpful and friendly without being pushy and trying to just make a sale. He quickly got everything squared away. The transfer from my old phone to the new one did take a while which was completely out of his control. While we waited for my phone the other sales associate Curtis was also super friendly. My 3 year old daughter was with me and he put a Disney movie on his phone for her to watch. They even stayed after hours to make sure everything transferred correctly to my new phone and walked me to my car since it was dark outside. This is by far the best experience I have ever had at any cell phone retailer.

I explained to her my situation & she took great care of me. She made several suggestions for a replacement phone. Once a phone was selected she assisted me in contacting my carrier to get the necessary information to access my account to download my old phones information, files, pictures, etc. Isabel was very patience & diligent helping me . I have worked in the customer service industry for over 40 years & was very impressed by her service. Isabel is a tremendous asset to this Verizon store. Curtis and the staff at Verizon Russ Avenue are shining examples of what exemplary customer service looks like. I recently found my way there with a damaged phone and the staff there, Curtis in particular, couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. He walked me through the process of filing a damage claim for my phone and turned what easily could have become navigating a quagmire into one of the easiest and most enjoyable experiences ever. Curtis reviewed my options in depth with me to determine the most feasible and financially sound solution possible. He then had a replacement phone at my doorstep two days later and the headaches I’d been enduring due to my damaged phone were over. I cannot speak highly enough of Curtis and the staff over at Verizon Russ Ave. If you ever need cellular service assistance stop in, you’ll be glad you did!

This store (NOT to be confused with the Verizon store across from Walmart) has the BEST service weve experienced since going with Verizon. Any problems or questions weve had have been dealt with pleasantly and professionally. We will not consider purchasing new phones from any other store, and we highly recommend this retailer to anyone needing helpful assistance with phones. We have personally observed the diligence, patience and kindness provided to older clients who sometimes do not understand issues with their phones. And DJ was great to work with! Kudos!!

I recently was shopping for a cell phone provider at the Verizon Waynesville location. I have been at this location in the past, and the experience was not a pleasant one. This particular visit; I met Isabel, who made the entire process a pleasant one! Isabel was thorough in explaining everything involved in the process to activate my account and extremely professional. I never once felt like I was being sold to or treated rudely unlike other associates I have dealt with in the past at that location. If you plan on visiting the Verizon location on Russ Avenue be sure to ask for Isabel!

There is a large homeless camp in the parking lot that’s been there both times I’ve visited. First time before I was even out of my car a guy who was clearly strung out on something was at my door asking for money.Hardly a safe environment, go to the store by Walmart.

So, I left Verizon years ago because of bad customer service. We switched to TMobile and then needed service in a new area. Verizon was the only one available. At first I was bummed to have to switch, but then I met Aaron. I told him my situation and he helped get me into a plan that fit my needs and is actually better than I had at TMobile. I have since moved and could switch back, but as long as Aaron works for Verizon I will stay put. I still use him for my account in a different state and could not be happier. I went to the Verizon authorized dealer in Waynesville to upgrade my phone. My lgv30 was no longer charging and I was in desperate need of a phone right away. Brandon spent countless hours on my account that had been locked. His patients and small chat were second to none. Some of the best customer service Ive had in years. I am in my 70s and only use my phone to text and talk and I dont consider myself that tech skilled. I had a 6 plus iPhone and knew I had to make the change to an upgrade.I was fortunate to have Isabel help me with my purchase of an iPhone 11. She took so much time with me, answered all my questions and never made me feel that sometimes I asked dumb questions (I know I did).
