This place literally looks like hell compared to other pilots I have been to on the road. There is trash all over from the entrance all around the back where us drivers park which is very small and tight but manageable and trash cans overflowing everywhere. Inside there is debris as soon as you walk in from the diesel side when you walk to the deli area the sandwiches are old and hard plus the roller grill items were burnt. Went to subway and DeLucas to order some dinner for me and my wife the staff was extremely slow and the employee working at DeLucas went on lunch when there were 4 people in line saying she was going to take a 30 minute break me and my wife and a few other customers were standing in there longer than 30 minutes. The tables had not been cleaned off there was still food and crumbs left from where other customers had ate and left plus the floor looked like it had not been swept nor mopped.

Every time I stop here. The cashiers/worker’s here at pilot where Blue rubber gloves. They are filthy dirty. They work behind counter taking money and what ever else they touch them go handle the cups and all products at the coffee/fountain area. I seen here grabbing coffee lids as well. After handling all that dirty money. People please change your gloves. Good lord !

Beautiful area, this pilot is a small centerClean bathrooms, good snacks and cheap gas.

The facility inside is clean and seems offer a lot of nice food options. We appreciate having a microwave available in a place to sit and enjoy your food. The traffic outside is pretty crazy, so be careful

They need to tear it down and start again. The parking is a mess. Pump access is terrible.Just a rotten experience as far as truck stops are concerned. Going to put enough fuel in to get to Tennessee and hit my favorite little mom and pop...Pilots are becoming RV parks anyhow.

Its a truck stop. Had everything every other truck stop has. But they were nice.

Decent quality, nice truck pumps,small parking lot,clean bathrooms.

After 10 minutes of pumping I had 3 gallons of gas. Out of eight pumps three didnt work at all.

This Pilot dont have hand wash soap in mens bathroom.When i ask to the lady She said we dont have we are waiting for delivery.

Very small location. Only a handful of pumps. Maneuvering is a bit tight. Big rigs and cars share the same entrance and exit. What could possibly go wrong?

We suddenly needed new house batteries in our Motorhome while traveling through the Smokies.We stopped in and they were quick, even with them not having the batteries needed and sending someone to get some, friendly and not too expensive.Thank you

9:30 at night and no food for drivers who deliver. You would think a damn truckstop would make sure the people who they depend on would get decent food!

Stopped here to take a leak yesterday with my woman. Lots of traffic in the store and at the urinals but convenient to the interstate. Will probably be back if I ever have to pee when Im driving through the mountains.

I went to Pilot #393 this store was so nasty. I went in at 4:00pm. I went back in at 9:00 the floors was not mopped. I went to the bathroom it was not cleaned since 9:00. Nasty towels where by the drink machine.

Nice little spot in the mountains.

Had a flat tire. Since their shop doesnt have my tire they wouldnt let a tire shop come and replace it! So I had to go set on the on ramp to I-40. Wont ever give this place one more of my dollars. I fill up and get Subway 3 times a week here. Not anymore.

When traveling we always stop at Pilot Travel Centers. I do like their coffee. They always have miscellaneous things to look at so you can walk around and stretch your legs. I always find stuff something to purchase. Plus their bathrooms have always been clean and the staff is always friendly.

Good place for service and food and goodies

Great place to shop and fuel up on anything and the employees are AMAZING. I will stop there again on my way back to south Carolina for sure. Thanks again for being so friendly and nice.

Poor accommodation for truck parking.

Great spot! Even with long lines, they move fast. My only issue is they dont carry wine. Theyve got beer, and they have all kinds of chips and snacks. But if youre looking to pick up a bottle of wine, go to the other store!

Helpful and friendly staff and clean restrooms. Has a decent amount of items to pick from. Typically Its one of the cheapest places in Haywood county to get gas. Its not a huge truck stop with the gas pumps a little too close to each other and traffic can be annoying since most of the trucks use the car entrance and exit as their exit. The signs are labeled but ignored.

My family and I stopped by for a quick cup of coffee. We noticed the store area was clean organized and well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. However the restrooms were not as clean and needed to be stocked Overall we had a good experience.

Friendly staff, yummy & hot roller food, and super clean bathrooms! The coffee was even fresh at the time we stopped. Will definitely stop at this pilot again in the future.

This place is a dump. One of the WORST travel centers I’ve ever seen. There was so much trash in bathrooms and the parking lot. I couldn’t believe it. I like to stop here generally because they are well lit for someone traveling alone and at night.

We stopped to fill up with gas and use the restrooms. We also got coffee, their selection was actually very good! Different blends and plenty of flavored creamers to choose from. Cappuccino machines as well.Bathrooms were well stocked, not the cleanest.Easy to get back to the interstate.Prices were normal for a convenience store.

Reserved parking 4 hours before i got there and didnt have to throw anyone out of my spot. Always a good thing.

Well, I would rate the showers, But Ive been Next in line for an hour now. It was my only reason for parking here, and cant get a shower at 4am!?! Bathrooms was nasty too. So much for extra cleanliness during a pandemic.

I bought two cold brew high brew coffee drinks here and later down the road I found out that they were three weeks expired when i felt the chunks of spoiled milk in my mouth. Not very impressed.

All Pilots are the same. Im a fan of the chain so a little bias but .. they have some of the best gas-station coffee on the road. I usually hunt one down when traveling just for the coffee break. This location is like most, field with late night truckers and busy travelers. The location was cleaned and had plenty of items on the shelves for those who wanted a quick snack fix. A negative is the gas pumps. They are too close together which only allows two cars to squeeze in for service.

There are only a handful of refuel stations that you look forward to pulling into when road tripping and Pilot is one of those stations. I spend 200 days of the year on the road in and out of refuel stations and it’s hard to find a pilot that isn’t giving their best effort to provide drivers with a comfortable experience. You can even tell from the owners response on this app as they almost immediately responded to my rating of their location which prompted me to finish my review. It’s simple,give em a shot on your next stop. :)

Easy on and off. It has a Subway with done seating. Restrooms but small. Clean though.. good amount of truck parking for a small location.

Traffic goes in one direction, parking goes in the other. Will have to circle around or attempt a blind side. When choosing where to stop, consider trying the TA at exit 37 first.

Nice travel stop. The whole place was clean and the people working there were quite helpful and genuinely present to speak with.I had a hot dog, and a hamburger roll from the self service racks at the station and was quite glad I did. The were hot and tasty and they hit spot after a few hours on the road.The stop definitely was a good place to rejuvenate before hitting the road again.

Its clean inside. Food is subway. Trucking parking is very limited. Its lunch time and nearly full. Staff is friendly here. They do have a small shop if needing a tire.

I got a Subway sandwich here, it was good and fresh. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were fairly clean.

Got fuel and def yesterday and now we cant move because of bad def fluid and when we called the company we was told to call the nearest one that was in Jackson ga and they told us we had to have it towed to a dealership and they couldnt do anything. Its Thayer fault and should be responsible for it but acting like they really dont care

Conveniently off exit 24 on I-40. Dont use gas pump #8. Very slow. People are pleasant.

The gas prices are high here but I will stop here if I need a few gallons to get me to cheaper gas in Tennessee or South Carolina, or need to use the facilities. They need more pumps for the amount of traffic though. Its also hard to get out of their lot because theres not much room to turn around entering or leaving. On top of that they dont have enough parking. The whole property needs to be reconstructed.Inside is just the basics. No restaurant here. The place is always clean.The employees are laid back and not in a hurry about anything. Theyre friendly though if you speak to them.

A lot of customers so the gas pumps was long and the lines in the store. However, the restrooms are very clean.

Friendly customer service.But the manager Tyler is lazy and a liar. I spent about an HR waiting for a shower and Tyler said we only have 4 showers and theyre being used. But this wasnt the case. There was at least one shower open and instead of Tyler going to clean it he waited for one of his workers to clean it. A Good manager would do whatever he had to keep things moving. He should be setting an example.

Wide variety of choices for any craving! I stop here often, and they carry an energy drink called Uptime. They have so many good quick snack options, best variety in town! The staff have always been friendly.

All Pilots are great but the truck entry on this is a one star.

Id give zero stars if I could, simply because the female manager wasnt trained in the simple art of speaking to human beings. She treats them like dogs if theyre not using the store to her standards. We will not be back.

I travel daily. This Pilot is one of a few places locally within a several mile radius to meet your travel needs. At this Pilot you are about to enter/exit North Carolina or Tennessee in a mountain region. Stop and get gas and rest. The service was good, the people professional.

It was ok but they let people park next to the scale so u have to go through the pump area to get to the back to park but the people inside do there jobs inside I went in about 130 in the morning and the bathrooms were looking good for a truck stop

Clean, friendly, and always open.Traveling from Texas to Massachusetts. Needed a shower and a place t park for the night. Shower room was a bathroom with shower, full size sink, and a private toilet. It was super clean. They supplied towel, wash cloth, and cloth bath mat. Vehicle parking for cars is on kind of a slop but manageable.

The store was great and the parking lot was clean. It was very busy but the cashier handled it pretty well. The only issue we had was the trucks were all leaving at once so we were a bit worried about being hit while leaving.

Place was awesome. Staff was super friendly. The manager was probably the nicest lady Ive ever met. She needs a raise!

Very nice...womans restroom was clean BUT NO SOAP in any of the 3 soap dispensers and NO TOILET SEAT COVERS in the dispenser...gas pumps are really close together so its hard to pump 2 cars/trucks at the same time on the same side...unless you back your car in then your contending with the cars, trucks, and semis trying to get into the entrance...we just wait behind to cars till it was time to pump spent $70 in gas...another $7 in snacks, brought my own cup in and they charge you .59 for a cup of ice... hmmmmmm...FYI this was a Sunday evening 8:30ish

I love how you can pick between3 different coffees and grind it right there. You can even pick hot or iced coffee.

Good gas station, has very ckean toilets and they have everything you need,even big parking lot for trucks.

Small store, no fresh food except Subway. Great showers with lots of hot water. Very small truck parking lot...very busy. Getting to fuel pumps to tough and crowded. No laundry facilities.

The manager was very nice and the showers and truck stop in general were clean. Easy to get into, find a parking space and get back onto the highway. Thank you Pilot.

VERY SMALL at best. Hard to get into and out. VERY SMALL parking, and then you have these losers who just park anywhere, anyway. Only reason to stop here is if you are about to run out of fuel!!

2 jalapeno dogs with jalapeno ketchup and onions and mustard ! $ 3.00 plus tax, good deal and the lady attendant was real nice and friendly ! Would stop by again when passing through !!

Olivia was very friendly and helpful on the pilot side. Jayla and her coworker at subway were fast with my order. I was able to get in and back on the road because of them.

Not enough pumps or employees to handle the business. Employees are nice, but this is a very small pilot and not a true truck stop. There were also a lot of flies in the store.

My visit was for the Mama Deluca Pizza..... Phenomenal taste would recommend everyone to try a Chicken Bacon Ranch with extra cheese red onions and black olives... Oh and did I mention Extremely friendly staff!

Ive always loved Pilot. This one has great service but lacks on all the new coffee systems some have. Ya know the grind and brew!

Good price but very busy. In fact, discourteous lady parked her car in front of pump and without looking to see us waiting behind her locked her car and went into the store. All the pumps were busy so we went to the shell station nearby.

AVOID. Messy and disorganized lines to get to gas pumps due to being on a hill. Absolute zero face covering enforcement from management inside with lots of crowding in lines etc.

This is our first time here. As a truck driver wife, i wish i could give it a 5 🌟. The reason I cant its because of the laundry!!! I really needed to do laundry.😲The staff was super helpful, super nice. The bathrooms were always clean, coffee was always fresh. The parking lot fornthe truckers was a little untidy, but thats the truckers fault. Good experience over all

Newer, clean, friendly staff. Arbys was great. Area for semis is top notch, love that they have plenty of garbage containers so it gives plenty of places for drivers to dispose of their garbage.

Clean restrooms, they have a Subway inside along with a pizza place. Didnt get any pizza. But the subs were amazing!!! They were really made to order.Filled with meat nd veggies!

Nice place to stop after coming through the mountains to get fuel, food, or shower. The staff was friendly as well, but seeing as its not many truck stops in the area they are busy, but I still will be stopping again whenever Im in the area.

Well organized gas station/truck stop. Clean restrooms, but very crowded (as to be expected for a truck stop). There is a Subway restaurant inside the gas station.

Store was clean, the outside for the trucker was a real deal breaker. Pilot really needs to get it together. When you make a truck stop have it well lit and a lot of parking.

I thought the place was pretty nice given its size and location. It is at the base of the mountains. So access is a little tight getting in here. But everybody was very courteous and they kept it pretty clean in there...
