Stopped in last week and asked if they had any clear (no knots) pine tongue and groove. Guy behind counter said no. I asked if they could order it and he just shook his head no. No help whatsoever. I Drove all the way south of Asheville to Jennings Builders supply. They were very helpful and ordered what I needed no problem. Guy there asked where I was from and I told him Waynesville. He said why didnt you just order it from Haywood, they use the same suppliers as we do and could also get it. Ok...Wow..I guess Haywood didnt want my business and isnt interested in helping folks get what they need.

Best lumber selection. Salesman will help you from start to finish. Local business not like the Big Box store.

Had the pleasure of a broken garage door spring on a Thursday late, called haywood builders Friday am and was given a Monday service call date, prompt service on Monday, a temporary repair til parts came in. Was called on following Friday for permanent fix, prompt,courteous, and knowledgable repair, and did I mention very reasonable repair cost! Great job!!
