What a lovely gift shop and in a charming mountain community. She had just about everything you could think of in this store. I would of loved to have more time to browse but since I was on a cross-country trip from California, I didnt have much time.

A trip to Main St. is not complete unless I stop into Affairs of the Heart (and I live in Waynesville). They have a variety of items and always have something new. The owner and her employees are always pleasant and have a great sense of humor. It’s one of the first places I take my out of town guests to and it quickly becomes their favorite shop. Everyone needs to explore Affairs of the Heart.

The clerks were not overly friendly to me. I love the merchandise in the store. I would probably buy more from them if the clerks were more kind.

This place has something for everyone. We bought postcards, spice rub, soda pop and pottery. They offer locally made items too!

Cute products, but we cannot support a local shop who’s workers are extremely rude. We were making our final selections and had several items to purchase. We wanted to make one final pass through the store because they were closing. The lady behind the counter was very short and snappy and with a very bad attitude told us, “No, I have things to do and need to get to the grocery store, we are closing, we have our limits.”I understand people have their days but their is no excuse for such poor customer service. We really hope the lady we interacted with was not the owner.We will not be making future purchases or recommendations for this shop.

Its cute but mostly trinkets and just not my thing overall. The family did have some laughs and the staff was nice.

Great place for everything you need! Jewelry, huge assortment of gifts, garden flags, cabin decor, scarves, handbags, candles and so much more! Lets not forget about the nice assortment of puzzles! Friendly staff. Much to see. I always leave with a purchase.

This shop has plenty of home goods and unique gift options for everyone in the family. It is located right on main street and I stop by here every time Im in town. Be sure to check out the inside of the little outhouse in the store, and take a photo with the bear outside!

All kinds of eye candy to browse here -- the old, the new, the unique. A mom n pop shop in an historic building in Downtown Waynesville, NC. Very friendly atmosphere. Great place to find affordable, fun gifts.

I love this place... However on their website it says their hours are 9:30-5:30 Mon-Sat. I got off work early on Thursday specifically so I could make it there by 5 and have 30 min to look for stocking stuffers and my secret santa gift. When I arrived a lady was pulling in their items that they display outside and when I said, youre still open right I was met with, no we are closed! When I inquired about why it states online that the hours are till 5:30 I was then told, as she pointed to the door where their hours are listed with a blank for closing time, we dont have a closing time, we never have see! (In a not so nice tone). I walked away very disappointed that I had gone to the trouble to ask off work early only to be turned away!
