Dr. Davidson is an excellent audiologist. She is very professional, extremely knowledged, and caring. I developed complete trust in her diagnosis and treatment very quickly. I was convinced she wanted to provide the best possible personal solution for my hearing, which she has done. She also communicated very clearly everything going on with my hearing and what to expect, as well as the fitting and using my hearing aids. Office Manager Wendy is also very helpful, caring, and polite. All my appointments have been conveniently scheduled with very little wait time. All the staff there is very patient focused. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the hearing aids that Dr. Davidson and Mountain Ear Hearing Associates have provided me. Also, my wife is so happy now that I have stopped saying, What was that?

I stopped by without an appointment to get my hearing aid checked out as I thought it wasnt working. I didnt expect any service - just that I would drop them off. I met Dr. Katie for the first time. She was wonderful! She took time to meet with me, hear me out, and she got me up and running and hopefully made some changes in my programming that will make the hearing aids more pleasant to use. Thats a tall order given that I detest them. :)

My visit today with Mountain Ear Hearing was better than I anticipated. Dr. Ramos was very professional taking the time and care to explain every detail to me. She also has one of the best personalities that I have ever met. I would highly recommend Mountain Ear Hearing to anyone.

Friday, I went with my mom to her audiology appointment. Her ability to hear and fully participate in conversations had been declining for several years. She finally agreed to see someone, although still insisting she did not have a hearing loss. Her audiologist was Dr. Kristen Ramos.Dr. Ramos immediately put my mom at ease. When Dr. Ramos completed her hearing test Moms loss was substantial. She went into complete detail, explaining each test, giving examples to clarify anything we did not understand. Mom had several questions and each question was answered completely and patiently. She explained all options to my mom. Mom was able to leave her appointment with her hearing aids. Dr. Ramos gave complete instructions on the use and care of the hearing aids. My mom left feeling confident in using her hearing aids.I was extremely happy with Dr. Ramoss professionalism and her care and patience with my mom. Mountain ear hearing associates is a really great place. The hearing doctors are kind and considerate and great in every way. The receptionist is not so nice she is mean and sarcastic.i hope they find a new receptionist.

After numerous consultations with other audiologists over the last three years, Dr. Gant made a specific effort to address my individual hearing needs and desires. Why? After a terrible & frustrating experience with Mountain Audiology closing their doors and totally abandoning us after a FOUR MONTH long process, it was a wonderful experience to meet Rick Moore and have hearing aids in my husbands ears in UNDER 2 WEEKS ~ weeks, not months! I bought my hearing aids about three years ago and haven’t needed to go back since. But recently I made an appointment because one ear was t hearing well. The appointment was made quickly and in just a few days at a time that was convenient. When I arrived, I was immediately brought into the exam room where after a few simple test the technician raised the volume to my satisfaction. He explained what the next steps would be as my hearing decreased, and he gave approximate costs. He was friendly, seemingly competent and there was no pressure to buy something new.

Very professional, on time. She did not try to oversell hearing aids, suggesting instead that I wait, because my hearing loss was minimal at this point.

I have been struggling for several months with a poorly fitting hearing aid and when I finally had time for an appointment I greatly relieved to find such an experienced and knowledgeable staff. I am getting an in the ear mold that will mean I wont have to worry anymore about it falling off my ear. Thank goodness.

It is so good to be back in Dr. Gant’s capable hands. She is the consummate professional! She did a thorough assessment and is sending off my hearing aids for a tune-up since they are almost out of warranty. Best of all, I’ve got a loaner pair. She reviewed the Oticon app with me and taught me things I had not known how to use. The office location at 33 Marshall St in Waynesville is so convenient and it was very clean with safety measures honored.
