A great place to stop and get a bite to eat o. My bike ride. I had a very yummy slice of pizza. It was very hot and ready to serve when I arrived. They had many other selections as well so I would stop in again and maybe try a sandwich next time.

I typically enjoy ordering from Black Bird but for the third time in a row ordering pizzas with toppings, we get almost none. We ordered multiple pies with toppings and all had a similar amount of toppings. This is the only photo I took.

My uncle bought the house next door, so the couple times a month when Im up from MA. I stop in. My uncle loves the place and apparently cant say enough nice things about the owner. I can speak on the girls that work there and they are very cool, polite.

Craft beer selection here is great. During this time of COVID Id really like to see the employees wearing masks though. Im not going to base my rating on that though. They also have pizza and subs to order, again those guys should be wearing masks but they dont. So if youre for masks, and dont like people in public spaces not wearing them, dont go here. Had I taken into consideration the mask thing Id give them 1 star, and thats probably what I really should do.

Fantastic sandwiches from the deli and picked up panco garlic parmesan chicken tenders from the meat section. My uncle recommended them when we were down the street, glad he did.

Heard a lot about this market from people at school. Stopped one day and bought lunch to give them a try....Reuben special. It was very good. Quality meat and well prepared. A little pricey but I dont mind helping a local business. And the rack of specialty hot sauces in the back got rave reviews from my chili head son!

Decent selection of beer and wine for a small country store. Has a decent deli case with prepared items such as potato salad, pasta salad and more. Kitchen serves house smoke meats like brisket and roast beef, pizza, cold and hot subs, basic sides like fries, onion rings etc. they have an amazing house smoked pepperoni as well.The only down side is a very large amount of inconsistency on anything that comes from the kitchen. A lot of high school students seem to be employed and just don’t care about quality and consistency. Unfortunately you won’t get your pizza cooked properly each time you order. Most of the time it’s severely UNDERcooked, doughy and the cheese is barley melted. Certain employees do it well and others just lack the training.Aside form that this store is extremely convenient and has every thing I need in a pinch.

The deli has a great selection of sandwiches and sides on hand. Does seem to get busy around meal times, but for a reason. The selection of the market felt like that of a gas station, animal foods, little packs of medicines, and half of the options are drinks. Probably the best selection of beer in town.

I fell in love with this place. Went camping nearby on a weekend and stopped there one morning for coffee. Would definitely go back again.

Awesome sandwich

Your basic small grocery and deli market with a good selection of items. They also offer some good prepared foods in the deli/grill area. What caught my eye was the mix of micro-brews and the ability to make your own 6 pack by selecting different single brews.Definitely a nice touch, and priced at $10.99 for a 6-pack.

Worst sub Ive had in a long time. Stale sub roll, cut all the way through so everything just fell out. Theres two, very thin slices of turkey topped with half-green tomato cubes, green onion cubes and pickles, which, as you can probably guess, are also cubed. Ever heard of slicing your produce? Certainly not Blackbird Deli.Edit: Forgot to mention employees are super unfriendly and arent wearing masks while preparing food.

Friendly service, nice convenience type store with the added plus of being a fantastic place to get a sandwich or sub. Their specials are imaginative and their subs are generously packed with meats and many extras! Youll never eat at Subway again!

The sandwiches that I bought here were very tasty! It had been several years since I had been here but I was not disappointed with my order. Their sandwich portions are very filling. I highly recommend the Mixmaster sandwich, it is amazing! When I got home with my sandwiches I added a little bit of Japanese mayo to mine, which sent the unami over the top.

I am so happy to live within a 5 minute drive of this store. They have a great stock of all foods including house made/smoked meats, salads, deli, veggies, beers, and all major necessities. The owner is usually on site and all staff are helpful! Five stars! Try the brisket and sausage... unreal!

I had posted a not so great experience before, but I want to take it back. I have since ordered a few sandwiches here and there. They have all been just fine. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was even given a gift card as an apology for the not-so-great sandwich I got that one day. It was very nice of them! I love going here now. It is nice when we need something quick or we are in the mood for something for lunch. Thank you to all who work hard at Blackbird!

Best Beer selection in Weare, BBQ is outstanding and everything is made from scratch. The deli is great and there Pizza is delicious. 100% recommend this place for breakfast lunch or dinner!

This place is great. The deli provides excellent food, and they always have great meats and things such as chili, mac and cheese, and other things. Their produce is fresh, and they have an excellent selection of craft beers. On top of all this, theyre always friendly and helpful. If you live in Weare, or just driving through, its well worth your time to make the stop.

Best people working there, always friendly. Best pizza in the area. I have tried to stump the butcher for months and always get the best cut of meat no matter what I order. From a 5 bone prime to custom Florentines. Blackbirds own my business for years to come.

My first request was for a veggie sub, they only had lettuce, tomatoes, onions. So I ordered steak and cheese of course with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. I get home to open the sub only to find not a single mushroom or onion. Totally ruined my day!

Grabbed drinks a slice of pizza from the hot case, I love their seasoned crust but for the 3rd time in a row BURNT pizza, the bottom of the slice was black. I dont understand why you would serve burnt pizza

The Blackbird might look small from the outside, but inside its basically a full sized market, at the back is a kitchen/deli for take out food including their own full sized menu (everything is just delicious and the portion sizes will leave you bursting) the walls are lined with fridges full of drinks, (soda, milk, energy drinks, tea, beer, you name it) They even have a slush puppy machine, warm pizza on a spinner ready for people in a rush and hot coffee. The other side has fridges full of frozen items and even a meat cooler with fresh local beef and even an entire candy aisle. The center aisles are filled with everything from cake mix to Aspirin. Need fishing worms? They have them. Ive had friendly service every time Ive ever shopped here in the last 3 years and I absolutely would recommend it to a friend. Its a perfect pit-stop while driving through Weare. P.S. you have not tasted chili until you have tasted Blackbird Chili.

Food was excellent maybe a little pricey for the location but it was out of my way by a bit . The pizza was really good and the chili was great as well. Found it to be worth the little bit out of my way.

Every time I order a sub, they screw it up. Sometimes multiple times. Steak and cheese mushrooms and onions. ALWAYS comes with peppers and onions, even when I write it down for them. Turkey club, always comes with ham. I deal with it usually. Today, asked it to be removed. Yeah, they took off the lettuce and tomato too. I got turkey, cheese, and bacon. That is not a club. I am so frustrated with this place. Have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but seriously, dont order here unless it is a meatball with no cheese. They seem to be able to handle that.

Best take-out Ive ever had. Their chili is outstanding and has won 1st place at the Chili Fest in Henniker. Ive never had a better steak and cheese sub. Everything is so fresh and delicious, these guys know what theyre doing. They have a great selection of meats for roasting and grilling. Their store is very clean well laid out. Its perfect small town friendly service.I really want more people to know about this place. If you are ever in the Weare/Henniker area, then go get some lunch there. You wont be disappointed!

Living near the Hopkinton/Weare town I find myself liking the Blackbird Market (Hopkinton Resident). It has excellent Sandwiches and the meat selection is great. On pricing and cleanliness to beats out the Hopkinton Cracker Barrel ten fold.
