I’m a novice shooter who just purchased a Matthews V3. I was having issues with it and a friend recommended I visit Fort Grard. I cannot thank you guys enough. Randall took one look at the bow with a level and knew exactly what was wrong. (and exactly where I bought it.) Ben was tasked with re-tuning the bow and did an excellent job. Most folks don’t care for someone watching them work over their shoulder. However, Ben welcomed it. Teaching me and answering questions all along the way. Again, my thanks goes out to the whole staff I won’t take my business anywhere else!

Brought in a bow I knew nothing about, but wanted to learn. They got it all fixed up for me and made sure everything was correct. After that they helped me learn to shoot it correctly and pointed areasI needed to work on. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They never made me feel stupid or a waist of their time, and believe me I took up a lot of time...

Went there today and got my Mathers V3 all tuned up. The owner was very nice, checked on me several times while I was waiting and the two young ladies that helped me were awesome. I would encourage everyone to take your bow to these folks. Top notch all the way.

I am brand new to bows never shot one in my life till this week went to Fort Grard Guns and Archery met the owners son Ben he has helped me so much seeing as I am new coming into the sport unreal professional spent a hr with him on the phone guarantee you no other company you buy a bow from will do that they will tell you to call back on Monday I cant explain the Amount of generosity and and customer service this company has for its customers everyone who works there is amazing they do not try to over sell you on anything or push you to buy their products in anyway they build your bow to your specs they arent just their to sell you a $1500.00 bow and send you on your way family business Ben is a Veteran and his dad is retired police officer great guys I cant say enough about what they are doing its insane will definitely be buying another bow from them Im telling you I dont care where you live if your reading this review it is 100% accurate this is the place you wanna be when the decision comes to buy your first second or even third bow hands down great great company.

REVISED & EDITED: Called a week ahead to set up a time on the range, to have them double book my time and give my spot to a regular customer (The staff called the customer by first name). Admittedly, I arrived about 12 mins late, but I figured that since Ill be paying for the time slot whether I am there or not. I also gave them my number to reach me. Didnt think I would have any issues since I called ahead so far ahead of time, however, they wrote my time slot down for the day theyre closed as a mistake. They looked at me blankly for several minutes and wasted my time as they tried to figure out who messed up rather than to rectify the mistake. Discussion about the customers signed up for the remainder of the day happens. I was told the next available time slot was approximately 4 P.M. Unfortunately I didnt have 3 hours to sit by and wait for them to finish. After about 10 mins of waiting, I got ready to leave and start for the door. An associate yells to me about being able to set up a time some other day as a freebie. I would have thought it would have been more professional to have led with that rather than to yell it to a leaving customer. They might not be inclined to turn around. While I understand the need to figure things out, I would imagine it be best to do so after the mistake is corrected. Unfortunately, all of this gives a poor impression of the business as a whole.

Best Archery Shop around! Best customer services and the friendliest! And Best range! That I have ever been to. I brought in a bow that was not set up correctly and not only they correctly set it up but they also enlightened me what was wrong and how to look for it because the original bow shop I got it from didn’t set it up correctly. So know I will be able to know when a job is done right and when it is done wrong because not all bow shops know what they are doing. And if your peep sight ever falls out go to this shop and get it correctly put in because it should never fallout! And the only reason it falls out is because other shops don’t always put them in correctly. This place is awesome!

Loved my first archery experience here. The staff were kind enough to give us a quick free tutorial. We opted to go outdoor and were very pleased with our decision. The place has a variety of targets you could aim at (even some beautuful bears and leopards) and not just routine bullseye. Very affordable. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

My wife and I spent our first time shooting indoors here and we had a blast. We stayed almost the entire day, left for lunch and was able to return and shoot some more. Fort Grard has become our home away from home. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and never fail to go above and beyond to help with any of our needs. We always feel welcome, even with a 5yr old and 1yr old tagging along for some of their big sisters practices. The facility is clean, any archery items you need are likely on hand and they have snacks/drinks when you stay longer than planned.

Hey Guys and Gals.....I have been in archery for 35 years. I went to Fort Grard in Weatherford to have a string replaced on my bow. I have got to say the service I received was amazing!!! Randy and his staff were all very nice and professional. Randys bow technical skills are unsurpassed in my book. He took the time to do it while I waited, answered all my questions and showed me things about my bow that I didnt know. The shop is very nice with an indoor range and there is an outside 3 D range also. If your looking for a top notch archery shop check them out. I feel certain you will go back....I know I will !!!! 5 stars and more !!!!

Went in tonight and spoke with the shop owner, Randy. This man is the epitome of a person who has perfected his craft. I brought in a bow that I got from a friend, and within minutes told me what needed to be swapped out/adjusted. As soon as he finished tuning it I went to their indoor range and “robin hooded” my first arrow with my second shot. Staff is a joy to deal with, and will be where I buy my next bow from hands down.

Fort Grard hosted my sons 8th birthday, and it could not have been cooler!!! The owners are so nice and go out of their way to make it a great experience. Most of the kids at the party were between the ages of 8-12 and they loved it. Many adults picked up bows and got in on the fun too! That being said, Fort Grard is fun for all ages. It was definitely a birthday to remember, thank you Fort Grard!

This is a family that believes in our future”Our Children” and do everything they can to promote Archery an support for our younger generation,, but I have seen them bend over backwards for all there customers, they truly understand that treating their customers like family keeps them coming back!!

I have been in numerous archery pro shops across the US. All are very good at what they do. Yet after my experience at Fort Grard it seems some are lacking in pure old school customer service. Fort Grard from day one has shown not only me and my wife Rachel what customer service (True Customer service) is they have given us a true archery family, and one of the largest archery and weapon facilities to keep our equipment ready for the next hunt and our next archery competition.

Great shop with people that know the business inside and out. You walk in a stranger and walk out family. Only thing I would say is close to a negative about them is youll get lost in conversation most of the time. If you think the stop will be quick then youll be surprised when youre met with a friendly attitude and a very easily lost in conversation. If youre new to Archery theres no better place in my opinion.

As an outdoor writer and avid archer/bowhunter, finding a one-stop-shop, so to speak, and people I trust with my equipment can be challenging; yet, Ive found that place in Fort Grard... and that tech in Randy. As a former archery tech myself I am pretty particular when it comes to people working on my bow. Randy is one of precious few Ive trusted over the years. Not only do I trust Randy, I continue to learn from him--different tools and ways to do things--simpler than my approaches when I worked on bows. His complex is jaw-dropping. While the indoor range is phenomenal, including a wall of targets, broadhead target, swinging ball-target levitating ping pong balls, the outdoor range is the best Ive ever seen, including a 5-acre 3D shooting course and acres upon acres of other challenging 3D targets and target boards, from 10 yards to a couple hundred--its literally an archery playground! Some targets are even moving while others require threading the needle through steel plates. Fort Grard also has a roomy elevated platform, complete with benches where you can hang out and shoot all afternoon. Back inside, there is also loft with an immersive video-shooting target system! Everything is fairly priced and Ive seen Randy bend over BACKWARDS to help people with bows and accessories to get into archery. Hes passionate about the next generation and with educating people about archery, and their equipment, so he walks them through everything and explains everything, including things that may be right or wrong with a customers equipment--he does this because he cares. Ive spent A LOT of time at Fort Grard and have seen bucket loads of compassion and help come from Randy, including helping people who have been taken for a ride by Ebay-bow sellers. Honestly, Randys shop may be really, really good but its his character, honor and integrity that make that place great. His kindness and passion for archery are always evident, making it a bit of an archery shot Cheers--where everybody knows your name. Heck, there are even chairs, stools and a long bar where you can sit, visit, eat lunch, etc. Incidentally the interior of the shop is also beautiful. Randy does his own woodwork and its quite amazing--hes poured his heart and soul into every aspect of his Fort Grard complex. In a nutshell, there isnt anything I dont like about Fort Grard. If you walk in with a positive attitude, ready to have fun and meet great people... even learn a thing or two, youll agree!
