Awesome place and wholesome owners. My wife worked here when she was in high school and loved it. They hold many events, my favorite being for dog recuse. And yea, they are pet friendly 😉

My friend and I gave this custard place a shot but in all honesty would not recommend in comparison to other vendors in the area.It started with the employees not answering the drive through window, which led us to order at the window.The team of teenagers frantically took our order and made the incorrect order not once but three separate times.Granted the workers were kind about recreating the correct order, however not worth $15 and a 45 minute wait.

Custard was smooth with no icy chunks. I just had a small sundae with raspberries and they put more than enough on there to have fruit with every bite. And the raspberries seemed fresh, especially in comparison to some other restaurants. Price was low. Overall excellent.

It is a wonderful place to eat. The weather was perfect for a late night snack. When the summer heats up finding a spot to sit and eat may get hard so taking advantage of cool evenings while you can.

This cherry coke was so fire. I had a simple chocolate dip coke and the ice cream was delicious. Rich, creamy, flavorful. So so good.

Horrible customer service. Kids that worked there were just giggling and horse playing with their friends while customers just sit there and wait after they pay. Hire different people. Serving custard shouldn’t be that difficult.

Good custard. What more can you say? Is there bad custard? I guess if they forgot the sugar. But theyve never done that here so its good custard.

It doesnt stand out next to some of the other frozen custard places in STL, but it was still good. The custard melted quicker than I expected for such a cool day, so thats another reason why Id prefer other custards.

Drive through is convenient. Good frozen custard. Milkshakes are a little thin though so I would recommend a concrete instead.

Custard is good. Currently drive though only with no walk up option. Drive through had a current that sticks out preventing your vehicle from getting a reasonable distance from the window.

This place is amazing. It is always a special treat swinging through here to get some custard. You definitely get your money worth here. I am a particular fan of their waffle cones. Other household favorites are the concretes. There is one that is topped with gummy worms that my daughter absolutely loves. If you have never had custard, you should definitely check this place out. Even if you have had custard, check it out. Be sure to ask them about their punch cards for free custard as well.

Horribly over-priced for what you get. I paid more than $18 for three small concretes in little 8 oz dixie cups. Monquitoes were biting us in the drive through lane--- which had about 15 cars in it! No place to sit down. Take your expensive ice cream and sit in a hot car! I will never go there again.

My boyfriend and I love The Custard Factory! Their custard is perfectly sweet and creamy. Also they have the best topping options! I would recomend this place to anyone who loves custard. The Custard Factory has much better custard than other places in St. Louis.

Felt like some ice cream when I drove past it was a nice sunny hot day. Great customer service got a blizzard with Oreo Heath and pineapples . It was very delicious and hit the spot price was nice for what I got.

I love the light frozen custard. It really is low calorie and tastes just as good as the regular. Free dog treats and a reward card.

My favorite is the Tiki Turtle! Took my 100 year old neighbor and that was her favorite ad well! She had never been to St. Louis Frozen Custard! Shes going to tell everyone how good it was!

Great place to pick up some desserts, as the drive thru is very convenient. I really like their concretes. You can customize your own flavors or they have some of their own combinations. Ive had a bad service experience, but they are usually pretty good.

Pretty good. Good value. Not a huge selection, but theyre good at what they do.

Went with some friends to try it out. They liked it but I have had better. Some of the combination flavors were fun but not amazing.

I cant tell you how the custard tastes because, first, I would have had to have been able to order at all. One employee was literally staring at a piece of paper holding a pencil for about 10 minutes while two other employees made orders for drive through customers at a glacial rate. Clearly these employees are not up to the challenge of handling both a walk up window and a drive thru at the same time. Since it seemed unlikely that I would be able to order and receive any custard items before they closed, I opted for something different.

This is a great establishment. Fantastic custard and service. They care greatly about their business.

Family biked to “the custard factory,” tried the drive through and even called to place an order since the drive up didn’t work and they said “sorry come back with a car” - 0 stars lost our business and won’t come back.

Good treats, lots of choices, quick service, nice outdoor seating, seating under the trees was very nice.

Good shake w/ turtle mix ins. Glad this is in my neighborhood.

Its custard, so of course its good. It does tend to have some ice from time to time, and I find their prices to be high compared to other places.I havent been since they built the attached bank next door, but I do know the indoor seating they once had was sacrificed as a result of the bank construction. Thats kind of a shame because few custard places around here have indoor seating, and that helped set it apart. Though, I dont know how many people used it. The drive-through always seemed more popular, and as far as I know, thats still available.Another thing that makes them unique, however, is their special flavors. Most places offer chocolate and vanilla, but they also offer light custard as well as one or two limited-time specialty flavors (e.g., strawberry, mint chip).

Not likely to go back. Dont know what was going on but for walk up customers there was a 15 minute wait, mixed-up orders, peoples orders showing up out of sequence... just a mess. I was on a tight schedule. One poor guys family was melting in their car. Not a good experience. If you were in the drive through you seemed fine, at least as far as the flow was concerned.

The chocolate dipped cone was so smooth, it was like having french silk pie ice cream.

The custard is really good, and they put a fun spin on their flavor combinations. Well be going back soon.

Like others have commented, these people are extremely rude. I stopped by for a concrete the other day, fearing who would be on the other end of the microphone that day. Almost every time I have ever been there, they get rude/pushy if you dont know EXACTLY what you want when you drive up to the window. Theyll *sigh* and *huff* even though they have a ton of choices. Anyway, not only did this lady have an attitude, but after about 10 seconds of looking at the menu board (3 others in my car), she actually said, Sir, you need to place an order. We have other customers.WOW. I left. Im not going to put up with such rude service just because we wanted to take a few seconds to look at the menu. I dont plan on ever going back there.
