I went late in the eveni g to the location in Webster. The place was clean and clutter free. Everything was in perfect order! The selection of craft items was much better than I expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. The clearance section on this trip was a treasure trove! Overall I had a very good shopping experience.

Very helpful. I enjoyed the atmosphere, my cashier was a young lady and really nice. I felt a little bad I was kind of distracted with my daughter to pay attention to her but she was super sweet about it!Update: I came back a second time & my cashier, her name was Val, was so wonderful! I again, enjoyed coming to this location! She signed me up for the email, & I saved a lot! Definitely gonna recommend this location to others!

Great experience working with their custom framing department. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted to do with my diploma, cap, and tassel, and Cooper did an excellent job of working with my requests. He even coordinated some updates with me that he thought would make the shadowbox look even better. When I had a small issue with the shadowbox, he fixed the issue so that the shadowbox turned out exactly like I wanted. Very impressed with the quality of work done and the customer service!

Visited only to return an UPS package (who knew you could go to Michaels) the greeter/cashier was so helpful, courteous and she took everything in stride. The few minutes we were there she was interrupted & everybody in store decided to checkout at the same time?Kiddos girl!

This is a nice store overall, but my issue is with framing dept. While they do very good work, there appears to be no regular hours for assistance. I had to visit twice in order to catch framer. I asked about dept. hours and was told they were short handed and worked around workers schedules. I know there is a shortage of help these days in many businesses. However, at least they could have those who work framing have a regular set schedule, although limited. I was also told I would be called and emailed when my framing was ready. Neither happened, I had to call to find out my framing was ready for pick up.

They are constantly changing out for new materials, but some areas are not well defined, and it is often hard to find someone to help you finds things. Also, never enough checkers. However, you can usually find a lot of products and inspiration.

Huge store. So many great deals. This store is teeming with everything one would need for decorating, crafts, and everything in between. I visited again on 5/14/19 and spring/summer-related items are on sale. I found what I needed and got to use a discount coupon from the Michael’s app, so it was a good shopping trip. Saw employees working on the floor and also available and willing to help. The person at the cash register was fast yet thorough, and gave friendly service.

Store usually seems to be a bit crowded without enough cashiers.At checkout prepare to stand in a long line that snakes down the aisle.

This is a small michaels. I usually come here for picture frames. they do have lots of faux flowers that are very pretty and in style. There’s usually always a line to check out. The cashiers are always very nice. I don’t usually do small talk at registers but they always have nice things to say so I converse. I never had a problem here.

Depends on which one go to. The Michaels in League City you can stand at the framing counter for over 10 minutes and the staff just looks at you and does not tell you the framer is not coming in for hours. Webster staff was really helpful and friendly.

Great place for picture framing

Rude, employees that are of no help. I needed a simple mat cut for a frame....nobody working could accommodate me. I was in on a friday.....I would not be able to get the mat until monday. I bought picture frames. I asked that the cashier wrap them. She put them in the bag without doing so anyway. I asked if I needed to do it myself and she handed them to me!!! I also had to ask her for paper to wrap them. The people in front of me were also wrapping their own things! Completely lazy and unprofessional employees.

I know most stores have temporary hours due to the weather. I checked google to see if Michaels was open and according to google they were, so I walked to the door. Lights were on and there was a sales associate inside. I pulled on the doors, they were locked. Google and the store windows said they opened at 9:00am. It was 5 minutes till 11am.The store associate proceeds to walk to the doors as to open them, but only says were not open yet through the crack of the doors. She says nothing more just walks away. It would have been better to tell me when you ARE open, because I can tell your not open by the locked doors...I was hoping for a little more courtesy from the staff instead of leaving me waiting and wondering when you were going to open.

Hot no air conditioning

They are always low on acrylic paints and they charge more than Walmart but Walmart is always full. Thats the only downside of it other than that I gave it all five stars!They always have what I need & more and and always what I want!! Love that you get rewards unlike Hobby Lobby! customer service from Desiree really helped me out one day with finding what I needed her and, Laura I believe her name is. guaranteed satisfaction two thumbs up!!!👍🏼👍🏼 thats my store and everyone there is extremely helpful and to helping you find what you need!!

You can hardly ask a question next thing you know they ran somewhere else and didnt finish helping.

Store was a hot mess! Shelves were empty. Variety was poor. If you want home decor instead of craft supplies they have you covered.

Michaels on Bay Area had some good Christmas items, I did fine one item I wanted, but the line was ridiculously long. I was not about to stand in that single-file long line. The line had no social distancing in place, however masks were mandatory.

Found what I was looking for easily. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone wearing masks, social distancing, and clean. Ill be back.

Prices are high even half priced compared to other places, but its all very organized and people are helpful.

My wife drags me in here from time to time and every time the check out is slow. Often takes longer to check out than it does to find what youre looking for.

It’s a Michaels, nothing fancy. This one never has enough people ringing up people so the line is always super long. I try to not go here, and if/when I do it’s because I need a specific thing, that I know where it is, and that I’m ready to wait 20 mins in line.

I found some yarn on clearance for $2.27. The store has sales and clearances clearly marked and scattered around the store for different categories. When the cashier rang me up, the price came out wrong, but it was quickly fixed when brought up. The cashier was very nice and started a pleasant conversation. I am very satisfied with my shopping experience here!

I did not realize how expensive it is to frame a picture.

This Michaels is always my first choice because it doesnt get as crowded as the one in Pasadena. Nothing makes me more anxious than a bunch of mommas in face masks with lots of crafts.

Absolutely horrible 😞 I was told on the phone they would price match an online tshirt company (Gildan) it was a total lie after standing in line over 30 minutes the manager totally was not helpful and ignored me. I even showed them on my phone what time I called there before showing up!!! Of course no one owned up to telling me the wrong information 🙄 they all denied answering that call!!!

I want to say that Miriam help me out exponentially great job keep up the great work I went also to Hobby lobby that day and left hobby lobby and went back to Michael’s just because of her that’s a lot especially since they didn’t have what I was looking for had to order it but it was was worth the excellent service I received from her will be back keep up the good work and service thank you

Its like all Michaels craft stores. No problems except for the lanes go so slow sometimes. 😭 but Im smart enough to know its not the cashiers fault, so stop being rude in line when you have to wait extra time.

Good craft store. My only complaint is I had a coupon for 50% off a picture frame. When checking out they wouldnt take it saying the fine print didnt allow the specific style, though it was same brand and dame price. This, after standing in a long line.

I keep trying, and they keep disappointing. They are usually short up front so I try to order online. They dont carry many of the yarns available at other Michaels, and even when I get the pickup confirmation, it takes 30 minutes to pick up because they arent really ready. Today they didnt even have one of my items. They offered to give me the discount if I found a replacement, but they got that wrong, too, 20% instead of %40. Going to Pasadena from now on.

The cashier was very kind. He even helped me with the coupon on my phone that wouldnt load. They also had good deals. Remember to use theyre coupons from their website and save some money!

This is one of the best Michaels I have ever visted. They were well stocked and the lady at the register was so kind and helpful. There was a good selection of everything. Prices werent too bad either.

Will visit this location again. We were impressed that even though it was the holiday season, it was easy to find an employee to help us find what we were looking for. We also found some great deals that we were not even looking for but couldnt pass up.

High prices, employees are nice but not a huge selection

Not to bad of a selection had neat stuff priced right. The only problem was I went on Sunday and they were really busy and only had 2 registers opened. The lines were half way through the store. We left without buying anything because we didnt want to wait In the long line.

I like Michaels more than Hobby Hell. I dont feel guilty about purchasing from Michaels like I do w Hobby Lobby. Id rather WAIT for supplies should I not be able to get what I need at Michaels than get what I need @ Hobby Lobby.
