I was trying to recreate a necklace that was very special to me and lost several years ago. I spoke with a couple of different designers however since I did not have a good picture of the necklace I was not making any progress. I brought my blurry picture and a crude photoshopped image of the necklace to Kim and within days she had an initial design ready that looked very close to my original necklace. Luckily for me Kim was not satisfied with close, she called me several times to get more information and the final result is beautiful and is closer to the original than I could have hoped. I recently brought in a ring which needed to be redesigned. The ring had been purchased many years ago and at the time, the accent diamonds were too small and just didnt do the ring justice. I sat down with Kim and she worked with me to modify the ring and bring it to life. Kim has an obvious true interest in her craft. This is more than just a business to her. She is a perfectionist who will work to get the design just right. Im actually here in the store and I asked to write this review on their computer because of how quickly they fixed my watch. They fixed my watch (missing pin, needed two links removed) in 5 minutes and only charged $15. I went to another place in the mall and another place down the street and they wanted to charge me $10 per link removed and wanted me to come back after 3 hours. Mrs. Kim was very helpful and Donna was cool too. I forgot the husbands name, but Im pleased with his work!

Disappointed in this place. Deceptive practices. After stopping in to research and review their stock of engagement rings, I also inquired about having my new watch sized there. In the past, I have had several jewelry stores size my watch for free, and this was when I wasnt considering one of the largest purchases of my life. After asking Jeff about the sizing, his response was oh yeah man we can take care of that for you. No mention of price and in normal vocabulary, that often seems to imply that a favor is being done. After they sized the watch, I was surprised when she claimed I owed her $16. I paid and then told Jeff that a lot of places do this for free and I hadnt expected or been aware of this charge. He just replied that it was the normal charge?? Come on, youve got to operate better than that. It goes without saying I wont be considering this place for any purchase for myself or any of my family or friends.

I feel so fortunate as to have found this gem of a jewelry store in my community! I was looking for someone to size up a couple of wedding bands that go around my main band - after reading the reviews on yelp and google - I am so glad that I chose Unique Jewels! They sized my bands at a reasonable price and in a very timely manner. While I was looking around the store, I mentioned to Donna that my main wedding ring could use an update. My larger diamond was an inherited solitaire and I did not want to trade it in to get a larger one or anything like that. She suggested adding a halo of diamonds around the main stone to enhance the setting. When I went to pick up my bands - I told them I was intrigued by the idea of the halo - Kim the jeweler came out personally and showed me the options and with their help I chose a square halo to go around my round diamond. The price was very reasonable and was done in one day once the halo came in - they are sympathetic that you dont want to be without your wedding ring for an extended period of time :). I picked it up today and OMG - words cannot describe how beautiful it turned out. It was beautiful before but now it is WOW !! Thank you so much Donna and Kim !! I will be seeing you guys for my future jewelry related needs!!

I have been using Unique for many years because when I walk in the door I am greeted by name, Kim remembers all the pieces we have discussed over the years, and her repairs and service are quick, fairly priced, and of excellent quality. This is old fashioned personal service, not your typical mall jewelry store.

I went here to have my engagement ring appraised and I couldnt be happier with the experience i had here. Kim was so friendly and knowledgeable! She pointed out something to me on my ring that I couldnt see with my bare eye and let me look at it with magnifying loop. Sure enough my jeweler I got my ring from skipped a step when they re sized it so I brought it back to them and got it fixed. I 100% reccomend this business to anyone. Great place! I had a ring that was bought somewhere else but it needed to be resized with a laser, and they were very willing to help. They couldnt resize it due to the inlay, but they gave me a ring guard and it fits perfectly now!
