Went into this shop today for the first time.Highly impressed by the Customer Service we received.Mike was so genuinely friendly and very knowledgeable about the products in the store. We never felt RUSHED while looking at a good Dive Watch.Mike knew his stuff and had great suggestions.We definitely will be BACK.Thanks guys.

I found Sport Divers of Houston when I became interested in SCUBA just over a year ago. The store is bright, clean and filled with excellent gear. Plus, the staff is outstanding! I took both Open Water and Nitrox with them. Both courses went well with excellent instruction. Over time, Ive gone in to add various pieces to my gear which now includes everything but tanks. They helped me out beyond the normal military discount at times and have always made me feel welcome. Sport Divers of Houston is my dive shop for many reasons.

Sport divers has been a part of our family for a long time. In the mid 90s, my father was open water certified and bought all of his gear from them. In the early 2000s, I did the same. In the early 2010s, my younger brother was certified and bought his gear. Fast forward to today, Sport Divers has helped me with things beyond scuba diving with suggestions and products to help me repair my swiftwater search and rescue drysuit. This is definitely the best and most friendly scuba shop in town and worth the drive if you dont live nearby.

Sport Divers has certified my husband, my two brothers, my oldest daughter and now my two youngest daughters. They have gone above and beyond to comfort those who were a bit nervous yet keep it exciting for those raring to go. The instructors and dive masters were friendly, approachable and way more than accommodating, striving for success. Rental gear was great, and every time I step in the shop I feel like Im going to visit friends! Thanks Shawn, Mike, Danny, Angie, Tim and everyone else!! I look forward to expanding my training with yall!

If you dive or have ever thought of diving give Mikes shop a look. The summer camp for kids is fabulous and they certified both of ours. Their equipment prices are competitive and the staff is not only extremely knowledgeable, they are personable as well. Danny is one of the best if not the best underwater photographers in Texas. I was certified about a month ago and it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had. The dive instructors were so knowledgeable and beyond patient. Everyone at the shop is so welcoming and friendly! The class was so much fun and diving with the instructors was even more fun. Highly recommend getting certified here!

My two sons and I have completed our Open Water Certifications with Shawn Smith & the Experience was so good that we went back and got our Advanced open water certs. Since then we have trained with several members of their team getting other specialties and they have all been great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Their travel deals are great also with many exotic locations typically.
