They are seriously rude every time I go in there. I keep going back thinking they were having a bad the last time. I went there today at 3:00 (website says they close at 4:00) they were closed and I could see them, Marilyn was right there at the window ringing someone up, the husband sitting right there looking at his phone. They could see me, I was just going to ask what’s up closing early. They didn’t even have the decency to look up wave a “sorry we closed early today” or some sort of acknowledgment!!! I can get good fabric with a smile elsewhere!

Small shop with great service. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

The owners are super nice and very helpful. Im just picking up sewing and they were happy to answer any questions I asked. Theyre a little family owned business and its always nice to spend money someplace that is local. Their prices are fair and as I understand it they do lessons Im pretty excited to check out once we get our current situation under control.

Just ordered Wednesday, trying to shop local. Amazing service as always! These are the nicest folks around. And today my fabric arrive. So dang fast. I was short on my project but didnt have time to run to the shop. Shipping was cheap compared to other shops online. Thanks Fabrics Etcetera!

Great place to buy fabrics for quilting.

My daughter had a great time participating in the summer camp. She was brand new to sewing and the instructors were so kind to her and helped her get acclimated. She enjoyed the class and uses her creations regularly. Would love for her to take more classes here!

Great selection and wonderful customer service. During the pandemic a larger fabric store had a 3 hr line but Fabrics Etc let you come right up to the window to select fabrics from outside the store. They even called me back to say they found a fabric I was looking for. Will be back!

Love this store, been shopping here since way before it became a quilt shop. Current long time owners are both friendly and helpful, and staff is very knowledgeable. Excellent sewing machine servicing for all brands, not just the ones they sell. But if you need a new machine - you can be sure that any product they sell will be fully backed by them. If I could give more stars, I would!

I love shopping at this store. They have a great selection of fabric and quilting supplies. They also have a good selection of classes and I have taken several of them. They are all organized and well thought out and the teachers have been great. They carry Accuquilt and Baby Lock which are two of my favorite things. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Ive purchased top-of-line Pfaff sewing machines here for years plus specialty Baby Lock machines and been very happy. But now Im finding when I really need a specific fabric for a project that Fabrics Etc is the one shop in town that has it. AND I never have to worry about the quality of the fabric.

Fabrics Etcetera has been my go to fabric store since I moved to League City. From buying beautiful fabrics, to service and purchase of my embroidery machines and sewing machine, to buying notions, and attending classes; Marilyn and her staff have been there, and immensely friendly, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend Fabrics Etcetera!

I’ve learned a lot in classes here. The shop is full of gorgeous fabric. The annual retreat is lots of fun.

Everyone is always so helpful, I always go here for sewing questions, sewing machine questions and always have my machines serviced here. Great quality fabrics and fun, knowledgeable classes. Always my go to place.

Lots of nice fabric. They offer a wide variety of classes. Unfortunately, dont try attend classes if you have a service animal. I have an extremely well trained service dog but the instructor is afraid of dogs so I was not able to sign up for a class. The instructor hid in the bathroom the entire time I was there looking at fabric. She would not even come out and meet us. I went in to purchase fabric for multiple quilts and sign up for a few classes. I was told she wanted to come out of hiding in the bathroom so I needed to hurry along. I ended up not purchasing anything and will NOT go back there. I do not feel like I was treated kindly or respectfully.

I will do consider going back and taking a class. They were making Jelly Roll rugs. Everyone is very pleasant to talk with.

They have great fabrics and a wide variety of choices also the people that run the place are good ole down home folk and they even have quilting classes you just gotta love the class instructed Ms RAMONA is great

Awesome, awesome place to find zippers!! Found a certain color of a jeans zipper that Ive given up searching for (online)! Great place in the Garment District finding dressmaking supplies!!!!

I needed help threading a fairly new serger & Mark assisted me. He was very thorough, gave me helpful information & showed me tools to make this process easier for me. He showed me around the store & told me about various sales going on & about their classes. A very positive experience & I will return to this business again. Thank you Mark!

Very helpful people including Marilyn, the owner. Her husband Mark, fixes machine problems. Mine broke at the end of a project that I wanted desperately to send to a relative, Mark fixed it in one day! I’m so impressed with them all, great people!

The owners and staff stand ready and willing to help fulfill every search for a fabric, pattern, idea, whatever. I never leave there without learning something.

I love their fabric but the people who work there are the rudest and most unhelpful people I have met. I have needed their help more than once and they act as though you are totally interrupting their lives and are stupid for asking if they carry a certain fabric!

I always look forward to going to Fabrics Etcetera! Its a wonderful quilting/sewing shop with a great selection of fabric, notions, patterns, and sewing machines. The projects and samples they display are beautiful. The ladies that work there are always so welcoming, helpful, and knowledgable! I took my first bag class (Mondo Bag) with Mary recently and am so glad I did. I really enjoyed myself and learned a lot. I definitely feel more confident about trying new things. I have been quilting a long time, but never made a bag. Thank you, Mary, and I cant wait to sign up for another bag class.

Friendly people, excellant service

So awkward and condescending. Went to the store to look at their selection of prints. Lady approached me to ask if she could help me I asked if they had any printed linen and they didnt. I was going to cover an upholstered seat and she said they didnt have any upholstery fabric... Ok. Well I was browsing or at least trying to browse but instead I get this lady hovering over me like I was gonna rob the store? I use fabrics on a lot of projects and not just upholstery, but I felt so awkward being close to this lady who just stared at me up and down that I had to leave. I mean what was the deal? Was flip flops not allowed at this store? I just got out of the office and out of my heels. Was it because I was not old and white or because I wasnt going to make clothes? I mean seriously what was it? So awkward and condescending have youuu beeeeeeen to hobby lobby?! Yes. Yes I have but I was looking to browse at a local business. I love small shops but obviously I walked into the wrong shop.

We walked in and the workers were immediately rude and condescending.

I went in last week to buy some items, The Fat lady Tina looked at me like I was disturbed. I asked for some fabric and she totally ignored me. I will never go back.
