Well equipped and very knowledgeable. While the proprietor might seem brusque to some it was refreshing to find a repair shop that will tell you the facts in a dead pan manner albeit at a rapid pace. If you cannot handle this mannerism maybe you should look for repairs at an upscale location trying to derive their business through your finances. Myself I will continue to support local knowledge like this.

Great service with straight to the point, honest answers. I hadnt done much upkeep on my mower since buying it 5 years ago. John took care of my mower and got it back to cutting like new again. Great prices compared to other places I called. Definitely recommend going here and if I kill mower again, I know where to go.

I went here for the first time since the 90s earlier today. They did something to annoy me that I cant remember back then, but the experience today was great.

Took a generator in during storm season expecting it to take a month. He turned it around in a week b/c of Delta. Got it home, one pull it started! Quality work at a fair price. Talk to him about NOT using gas with ethanol to store. Best to a skilled mechanic.

Only small engine shop open on a Saturday but still has great prices and gave me excellent tips. Will be my go to place for small engines!

I have used this shop on & off for years & have always been very satisfied with the service and sale prices. This morning I called with a need for an emergency repair of a lawnmower. The owner took my call & had my lawnmower running fantastic within 20 minutes of my arrival. I wish I could give this shop more stars! If you need anything go see them.

I wish we didnt have to give any stars. The owner of this business is so unprofessional. We have dealt with him a few times throughout the years. Each time he is so rude its ridiculous. Im a forgiving person so I gave him a couple more chances. Each time I get the same result. Rude, rude, rude. ZERO customer service. Its hard to believe he is still in business. When I asked him to give me a hand to get my mower out of the back of my truck he told me I was on my own. I get that some people have physical ailments, but his delivery could been so much better. I would rather throw my mower in the garbage before having to deal with that man again. If you want great service, knowledge, and a friendly smile from a business owner who wont screw you over, please go somewhere else.

John at the Mower Shop is a lawnmower master mechanic! I watched as he fixed a ton of bad things (carb, accel, drive belt, blade, air filter, new oil) on my 8-10 yr old Toro Recycler! Really knows his business (there >30 yrs) and is a nice guy too! Labor rate (took over an hour) is reasonable these days! It runs better than it ever did!

Sharpened my lawnmower blade, but didnt charge me as the repair cost was $5 and all I had was a debit card and debit charges must be at least $10. I insisted that Id come back with cash, but was told to not worry about it. Good man.

Excellent quality and service like it was back in the day.

The people arent much to talk to but they are honest. Took a chainsaw in to have it repaired and the guy told me what the problem was just by me telling him what the symptoms were. He told me how to fix it and offered to do it for me for a charge of course. I fixed it myself and saved probably $50. I appreciate them doing that and I will continue doing business with them.

I could not get the end off of my Not cheap weed-whacker. I tried everything, youtube, everything. I was getting ready to trash the stupid thing but thought here is a last effort lets see what happens. Drove over to the shop with my much hated whacker in hand and asked how much and what can be done. Im so glad I did. 10 bucks and I walked out with a fixed weed-whacker. Thank you!

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP! John was rough around the edges but seemed okay at first. Took our weed whacker to diagnose the ENGINE problem. Was told it was not covered by warranty. Fine, well take it up with Ryobi. Then he gave us our weed whacker back with an older head and when my husband told him he accused us of lying and acted like we were trying to pull one on him. When my husband would not back down he called the guy from the back. My husband went to the back and came back with our orginal, newer, head. This man tried to steal from us and from what I have seen from the other reviews, this is not the first time.

He wishes that he were doing anything other than running his business.

Im giving this business a 2 star because the guy at the front desk was nice. I dont thonk they know how to diagnose or repair lawn mowers. The lawn mower has the same problem as when I bought it in. I mentioned it to the guy when he took it outside and started it for me. He said the problem would stop once all the bad gas was out of it. When I went to pick up the lawn mower as soon as I opened the door the smell of cigarette smoking burn my nose and gave me a headache. I believe that if you have a place of business you should step outside to smoke because not everyone can tolerate that horrible smell. Its so unprofessional.
