Great shop, Boyd is super helpful
Boyd and Jake did a superb job getting my 1963 Honda 150 running after sitting since 1988. I bought this bike in an estate sale in Connecticut after the original owner passed away. It’s a real thrill to hit the starter button and see the bike start right up and idle smoothly. I recommend Cycle Stop to anyone with an old or unusual bike you want to see restored to running condition that may need unusual repair such as drying and resealing a carb float.
Im a novice in dirt bike repair and Cycle Stop has been more helpful than any other motorcycle repair shop I have found. The owner and technician also taught me how to do several things myself. Im so thankful for their expertise, patience, and knowledge. They will be my permanent motorcycle repair shop! I highly recommend them for anyone elses motorcycle repair needs.
Thanks for the new clutch cable! Works great.
Specialty work for antique motorcycles is hard to find.Boyd and Jake....the best father and son team around. They know how to make things work.Dont waist your time going anywhere else...theyre the best..!!
Boyd was the only one in the area willing to adjust and teach me how to adjust my kids no-name, Chinese made, 40cc dirt bike. And didnt charge me anything! Definitely gets my highest review- THANKS!
Brought a Honda 4 wheeler in for service. Not only did it take way longer than expected, after running for a couple months it’s hard to tell what work was done (the service bill was plenty long though).
Accidentally rated 1 star. Bought products from these guys before. Super friendly. Good prices.
Communication was excellent and the job got done. Would recommend 100% it’s nice to have a good motorcycle shop in the neighborhood.
Awesome people and great service.Received my order fast.Would definitely recommend
Jake and Boyd have been nothing less than fantastic for us. Ive had my Fat Boy in there, my oldest son his Dyna Street Bob and his brother his Road Star. Theyve even straightened out one gnarly dirt bike wheel. You want a good deal on tires too? Go see these guys.
Boyd is awesome! VStar runs beautiful! He knows Yamahas!!
Always the best...Good people Great service...a real world bike shop
The are very professional, knowledgeable. The customer service was the greatest. I will be returning.
Great friendly staff! Very knowledgeable and reasonable. Will come back!!
Worked on my 450 made it run got new plastic and tires highly recommend and good prices 👌
These guys are awesome!!! Boyd and Jake are so helpful giving honest advice and very fair pricing! Its hard to find people like this. I would recommend these guys to anyone that needs work on there bike or just needing to be pointed in the right direction!!! 5 STARS
I took my Motorcycle in last week to get diagnosed. Boyd took awesome care of me. He stayed in constant communication with me and being a new to the verbiage of motorcycles, he took the time to explain how things worked and what needed to be replaced. I feel like Boyd and Cycle Stop in general are successful due to the customer service they put in each day. I was previously told by another Motorcycle Repair shop that it may take a month for them to look at my motorcycle. Boyd, with a chuckle, said yeah just bring it over here, Trevor, and well take a look at it. A week later the bike is running very well and it was because of Cycle Stop and Boyd.
Dropped a KX250F for a top end job. The guys at Cycle Shop were great to work with and extremely helpful. There rates are great and the bike was fixed in a timely manner. Would defiantly recommend them and will be using them again. During the repair process other items were found that needed to be replaced. They were quick to tell me that I did not have to replace them at this time, but in short order they would probably need some attention. Honest and Responsive was what I found out of this group.
Great experience with unmatched service. Boyd was very friendly knowledgeable and serviced my bike in a timely manner. Anytime i need to service my bike ill go to cycle stop from now on.
The guys working there are incredibly personable and knowledgeable. The cost of labor was cheap and it was great to hangout and talk bikes. I suggested the shop to my friends and I will certainly return. Any negative review is ill informed.
Great prices just got off the phone to ask about my seized kx250f I want to bring in and the price was one of the best I’ve heard
Called on Thurs asking if they could fit me in for am oil change. Said Fri would be better. Asked if 430 was good. Said yes. Show up and they are closed. Update 2/1: In response to owner. This review was written that same Friday before any explanation but you told me you got the flu and were still feeling it that Monday i called. So which is it? You got the flu or wife was was in the hospital?
Boyd and Jason eat, sleep and breath motorcycles! They can tackle just about any job, but if something isn’t in their expertise they’ll steer you in the right direction. They rebuilt the carbs on my Ducati M750 and tuned it so it runs like new. I will trust them with all my future maintenance!
Owner is dishonest and unprofessional. Highly recommend to stay away.
Have no idea who Moon Humphrys is. If he was so dissatisfied with the service he should have said something at the time of picking the unit up. Cycle Stop tries to serve all of its customers needs. His may have been special needs as in an older hard to find parts for bike. And as far as the review by Kevin Knuth, he was to cheap to use new parts so he had us install used timing pulleys that he purchased, with new belts. The second charge was not for timing pulleys rather to have his carbs cleaned which was a direct result of him leaving it here so long, they had to be cleaned twice.. When I suggested to have his valves adjusted from the miles recorded on the bike, he asked how much and then said no it was to much for him to afford at the time. So yall can take it for what its worth. BTW, all this took place a year ago. Weve been here for 25 years and still have many of our original customers. No matter how hard you try you will not please or perform to 100% of everyones expectations. However we will try to do our best for everyone that comes to our store.
Love this guy super smart always takes time out of his day to talk to me
Liars. Inexperienced. Do not waste your time. You will be waiting way longer than they tell you. They dont do what they say they will either and you will pay more than quoted as well. Give this place a miss. If you are so unfortunate as to have to go here make sure you leave your review as well.
The owner and mechanic are both nice guys. I took a set of mag wheels (off the bike) to get new tires mounted. When I picked them up both rims were scratched up more than I would have expected. I know that tire changers tend to mark up rims a bit but it was considerably more scuffed up than previous jobs done elsewhere.
Excellent service very knowledgeable the only place Ill take my bike
I brought a 2003 Suzuki Intruder 1400 to them for front fork seals rebuilt fuel pump replaced and carburetors cleaned and rebuilt after they told me that they were very familiar working on these motorcycles. After about 3 months and bringing the motorcycle back to them 3 different times due to breaking down I finally gave up and went to a different mechanic. The new mechanic took everything apart and showed me that they did not replace any parts. The only new part they put on the bike was the fuel pump. They put my old seals and O-rings back in the carburetors and put my old wiper seals back on the forks. I was very dissatisfied with their service my bike never once ran correctly I was always told that that was the best that they could do. Please avoid this shop you will have nothing but headaches and wasted money youll have to go to another shop afterwards anyways.
Simply put. Fix something, break a Lot more. I have to find out if they swapped my freshly rebuilt heads for their old ones. Took her in for a minor oil leak on my crankcase gasket and came out with a severe head gasket leak. Never again
Had to pay for them to do the same thing I asked them to do the second time after it wasnt done the first time and while they did do what I asked for they didnt do a valve adjustment while doing a set of cam gears and belt your what for bolts from it and cant call and ask yes I would have paid for it very not happy with how long and what was done and more importantly what wasnt done
Reasonable price on labor
Nice people
Nice Shop
Never could fix it right
They did a great job on my bike, as always. In and out as he said it would be. These guys are the real deal.
