The Prime book store has a vast variety of books to choose from for any age reader. It also has an extensive choice of different ice cream options to choose from along with old fashioned candy. The staff was friendly and very helpful also. Must visit!!

The other reviews do not lie. Friendly service, amazing atmosphere, a wide collection of flavors, and snacks from various parts of the world. The book store also has a comfy charm to it. Will come again!

The man behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. The ice cream was amazing and there were so many flavors to choose from. I got the espresso bean topping on top of my exhausted parent and brownie cascade scoops of ice cream and loved it. It was a great price great quality and amazing taste. I am so glad I stopped by.

I loved it. They had a flavor of ice cream that I havnt had in over 30 years. Its called blue moon. I have never seen that flavor anywhere else since I was little.

This place is a wonderful money pit! Every time I go through those doors I end up spending at least $40! Delicious German Chocolate Cake milkshakes! Good selection of candy! Yummy shaved ice! Ive never made it to the book section... Haha

1st time here and was not disappointed. Every flavor of icecream one can imagine and to my great surprise they do smoothies too !!! Also many many different types of milkshakes, sundaes 🍨 and the selection of homemade cones... will most definitely be going back. Very glad I gave it a try.

This is a fabulous gem of a store in the little town of Weirton, WV. Its the sort of place we would visit on vacation and rave about to anyone who would listen. We take all of our out-of-town visitors here and THEY rave about it to everyone. Anyway - they have the best of everything and deliver it with a smile. When I pick up a book Ive ordered, I always treat myself to a cone. The store is usually full of happy people. Whats not to like??

My daughter found this shop on Facebook we stopped in, they had blue moon ice cream. So many different flavor waffle cones. What a cute store. Grand kids will love this place. My husband and I stopped next day. You might need a bigger shop already 😁

I’ve been going to Prime for over a decade. Dave has always been the most down to earth, friendly, and just all around great person. You won’t be disappointed walking into this shop, for books, ice cream, or old fashioned candy. I don’t get there nearly as often as I would like, but Prime, Dave and the staff will always have my support.

Amazing selection of candies, books, candles and most of all ice cream!! They have the best ice cream Ive tasted in awhile! My kids had an amazing time at the story time and I was honored to read my book, The Adventures of Mooflu to the group of wonderful kids and parents that came to the story time event at PRIME! Its such an amazing story hour that leaves the kids filled with wonder and enjoyment! I love how they have it set up to encourage each young reader to fall in love with reading and even have the chance to read to the group themselves! Looking forward to enjoying more story times, reading either my own published books or some of my family favorites and that ice cream!

Its deceiving because it is more a ice cream shop then a bookstore. They have good ice cream with different cones flavors and a wide variety of ice cream. My only negative is its a little bit pricey.

I usually dont leave reviews but am frustrated. Whatever happened to good customer service? Two nights in a row a little after 8pm I stopped to purchase an ice cream cone. The first night as I was walking up to the door a staff member walked over to the door and turned the lock and walked away. She said nothing. The second night as I approached the door a staff member stuck her head out the window and said we are closed while three or four people were standing inside the door. I asked if I could just purchase an ice cream coneThe answer was No! Needless to say I will not be returning.

Ive never had a Negative experience here. The owner is very kind. They play great music and have a good book selection. Now their candy is the main reason I go. I go and usually spent 30.00 at minimum. My only complaint is I wish they were open longer

Dave and company have been the standard bearer with their welcoming atmosphere and being the place to go for All your literary needs For over 25 years in Weirton. Adding the Premium candy and Frozen bar only added another color to their paintbox of excellence. I grew up buying comics from Dave in the 90s and its where my kids buy their favorites now! Keep it up, Prime!

Best ice cream ever. The Dole Whips are amazing, theyre my go-to every time. We love getting books while were there, usually a trip here costs us no less than 100 bucks after its all said and done, between the ice cream, candy, candles and bookes, we get sucked in every time. My only complaint is that the prices are very high. Most of the books they have can be purchased online for at least half the price but my husband and I like supporting local businesses so as long as it isnt a crazy big difference we prefer to buy them in the store. They have a giant loose candy selection that cant be beat. The owner is super nice also, weve never been treated badly there.

PRIME of Weirton is AMAZING! They have the best ice cream - its fantastic! Their shave ice is wonderful - so many flavors. They have a fabulous selection of books, candles, special candies, and gifts. They also have the best employees (and owner). They are always friendly - even when they are incredibly busy or getting ready to close. Try them. You wont be sorry!

*Prime holds an amazing story time for the kids and its clearly advertised as $10 with pre registration for the event and they sell out fast. If you show up the day of without registering,you will be turned away and that isnt the fault of the shop. 👍💁‍♀️ I wish people wouldnt give 1 star reviews based on their own bad judgement.A shop that sells books, candy, AND ice cream? Its pretty magical. Yes, its a bit limited on space but honestly, all the BEST shops are. The employees are very friendly and answered all my questions, no problem. The ice cream is some of the best Ive ever had. I cant wait to keep coming back and bring my family and friends to enjoy as well! The ice creams in my picture are Zoreo and Cookie monster and it may have been the perfect combo! The colorful rocking chairs out in front of the store is a great place to enjoy your ice cream on a nice day.

Its a good store but the books are lacking in variety. There are too many romance novels that fill up a whole isle and there is only like 5 isles. They could benefit from getting more interesting reads and newer stuff. Although they do sell ice cream and model statues thats really cool. Other than that you are better off with Barnes and Noble.

Ice cream is the best non-soft serve in the area in my opinion. Tons of flavors, and the few that I have tried were all quality. The book selection is nice, especially for a little shop. Its cute, unique, and worth it to go to browse and eat some ice cream.

This shop has a huge selection of ice cream, sundaes, floats, candies and other sweet treats. The book selection is also very comprehensive. They even have a comics section. This is a great shop, and they have a wonderful and helpful staff. Everyone is extremely kind and courteous. I will certainly be going back again.

Ice cream is okay, but you really should just go to Aloha Delights and get a bigger portion for a lower price. Prime is way too expensive for both the candy and ice cream.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place, quaint, home feel book, candy, candle store with the BEST ice cream. Bohemian Raspberry is my favorite, they have like 50 different flavors.

Quirky little ice cream/candy/bookstore. The ice cream is excellent, with plenty of different and unique flavors for anyones tastes. They also offer Hawaiian shaved ice in a dizzying amount of flavors. Also on offer is a rather large selection of candies, including some import candy from other countries. Finally, there is a somewhat small section of new print books and gifts. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

OMG. So. Many. Ice cream flavors! Maybe too many! But thats OK - that means there is something for everyone. Especially love how they have Dole Whip which is vegan friendly. Double love how they are making strides to be eco-friendly with their utensils and straws. My mister and I tried a Lemon Meringue shake a while back and it was pure heaven. And if thats not enough, its also a cool book store and candy shop as well! Three cheers for PRIME!

They have fantastic service, a large selection on great ice cream flavors and style which to have it, a massive selection of candy. Overall this a great place to stop in with friends and family.

All of my other experiences were good until today when they turned my friends and our kids away from the story time they were having. We were supposed to pre register paying $10, but it wasnt posted on their Facebook event page & then was rudely turned away. Good customer service means a lot to me & thats why I will not be returning.

The selection of books is great. Its a medium size store however there was an abundance of new best sellers along with comics and books that are series. Anything i had been wanting to read was there. To make the store even better they have a selection of candies and chocolates that range from old penny candy you never even see anymore to brand new candies with the newest movie characters that is a toy with the candy. To top it off the ice cream selection is anything and everything you could possibly want, and how you want to have it, like milkshakes, cones, waffle cones, drinks the selection can be almost overwhelming but since u can have it made to order youll be in heaven. The butterfinger/birthday cake that i had made into a milkshake was fantastic. This store is amazing i stop whenever i possibly can. Love it!!!
