Purchased a large light for my entranceway a while ago. It was not coming on full power. I brought it to Capital Lightings attention and they were terrific. They ordered the part, put it under warranty and for a small charge, came to my home to repair it. Excellent service!

They have a pretty good selection in the store and of course much more online. We are remodeling and have various things we need. Jose and Jean are very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Both very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

The store has a beautiful selection of lighting with competitive prices (compared to the internet). Jose was informative & efficient when we purchased our bathroom lighting & decorative mirrors. He also came to the rescue when we saw that one of the mirrors was broken when it was ready to install. The replacement was handled personally by Jose which didnt hold up my contractors. Its unusual to get this level of service nowadays & we really appreciated it.

I visited Capitol Lighting recently as I had received a discount coupon in the mail. Most recently I had visited a competitor in West Palm Beach where I had purchased a bathroom light fixture for our home. In this computer age, we researched on line and found what we were looking for for another bathroom in our home. It was a light fixture from the same manufacturer, but Capitols price was $1.00 cheaper plus we had a discount coupon. Being that Capitol was closer to home, I visited the Royal Palm Beach store.I wasnt expecting much from this store, as the previous competitors experience was mediocre. I was greeted by Michelle as I arrived and surprisingly had my order done in no time. The show room is very well stocked full of amazing items. They were very helpfull and friendly and knowledgeable about my needs.I must say I was very pleased with my experience and the whole transaction was effortlessly done. I have been back for other supplies, and when we are done with this bathroom, will most likely return to Capitol when we start our third bathroom for more lighting needs.Thank you, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Working with Jose Navaez at the Wellington Capital Lighting Store made a daunting undertaking into an enjoyable experience. His attention to design and his obvious talent along with the time he spent presenting different options for us to consider was, in our opinion, over and above what you would expect from most. He visited our home to visualize what would work in the space, taking into consideration the surrounding elements. Jose is not just selling light fixtures, he obviously loves to work within the scope of your tastes and current design within your home. Bought a pair of Hinkley outdoor sconces 14 years ago. Went to change bulbs. One had no problem, the second; a major component failed. Took the pieces to Capitol, and within minutes was given the parts to repair the fixture, NO CHARGE for the pieces or advice. GREAT service, and if I were shopping for fixtures, GREAT selection.

Salesperson did not know a thing about volts, watts or lumens. She could sell tomatoes or socks with a much better success. I do not blame the girl though. Its the managements fault! I just wonder how they stay in business with these high prices and totally untrained personnel.

We went to capitol lighting for the first time to buy the fixtures of our house. We had a bad experience in the Wellington location. First of all NONE of the associates working in this place asked us if we needed help. They did not even look at us, I felt like we were alone in the store. Bad experience to be the first time. No matter the color of your skin or the language you speak or how fancy you are the important thing is that we are customers and we should be treated with respect, I can assure you that we earn a lot more money than what they earn.

Helen was the best. She helped my wife and I pick out the perfect lighting for our home. On top of that shes hilarious.

The inventory at Capital Lighting is incredible! There is so much to choose from and at a reasonable price. They have fancy smancy to modern looks and the showroom is a mouth opener. The price is on everything so you know how much right up front. Ask for Val, he is an awesome help!

The worst “follow up” service that I’ve encountered. Sale and selection were great, then, after 6!! Phone calls and 6 promises of a call back, still NO answer on the arrival of my Chandelier. Would have been a good experience but this has left a terrible taste in my mouth.

5 years ago we bought a house full of light fixtures the sale people were great so when i moved into my new home and needed light fixtures I shopped around because I was on a tight budget but again capital lighting was the place where I found beautiful lights and great prices the staff was very helpful and great! Will always shop here fist!

As new homebuyers in the area, we sought the advice from Helen at Capitol Lighting who was able to help us choose the right fixtures that would fit in our new condo. She suggest we bring pictures of our condo so that she could assist in finding fixtures that accentuates our design esthetic. We were so glad we chose Capitol Lighting. Prices were competitive and had a great selection of sale items too on clearance. Do not hesitate to ask for Helen if you are seeking a lighting professional who will take the time to make your home look its best!

I know the store for more than 20 years, has a great variety of gorgeous chandeliers. I went recently to purchase a chandelier cleaner and was pleased with how knowledgeable and fast the service was.

I have been lucky enough to not have the pleasure of doing business with Capitol Lighting in Royal Palm Beach, FL and after their disgusting display of basic decency yesterday I will be sure to never ever even consider them as an option and I will be extra sure that I tell everyone I know this story...Capitol Lighting in Royal Palm Beach, FL happens to be located directly across the street from a funeral home and while attending a funeral there yesterday for a man who had a lot of dear family, friends and employees in that room paying their last respects to him Capitol Lighting in Royal Palm Beach had the despicable gall to interrupt the services with an ultimatum to either move the vehicles immediately that were parked in their back parking lot or they would be towed causing about 25 people who were mourning the loss of someone dear to them to get up in the middle of the funeral to leave the funeral to move their vehicles. While I understand that it is their parking lot and they have every right in the world to allow or not allow people to park there we were instructed by the funeral home to park there and there were no visible signs saying that parking there was not okay. Capitol Lighting could of handled that way better than they did first by allowing the service in progress to finish and second by taking up the parking issues with the funeral home directly and advising them not to instruct people to park there and lastly by putting up signs warning people not to park in their lots. The way they handled this situation was one of the most disgusting and disrespectful things I have ever seen in my life. I have every hope that this stings them a little bit because in that service were many representatives from several local and national home builders some of whom were forced to leave services for a friend because Capitol Lighting could not hang on another 20 minutes to allow the service to finish.

Unfortunately I feel as if I was misinformed regarding product availability I was very precise in comminicating my time line to the store rep and she confirmed the time line with me so I ordered product on 03/04/2017 it is now 03/08/2017 and product has not even shipped out yet due to the fact that the store cannot provide me with a tracking number. I am very disappointed in which this first impression with Capitol Lighting has gone.......

I have been using Capital lighting for several years as I have recently updated my home!! I have been very pleased to have had the most wonderderful experience with everyone who has helped me at Capital Lighting. I don’t usually write reviews but had to this time because I had the most incredible experience with an associate Jose Naverez at the Wellington location. Jose helped me pick out numerous chandeliers for my home . When I didn’t like one we had originally chosen he gladly returned it for me no questions asked. Over the course of the next few months he continued to help me and we eventually decided to make something custom for my dining room. Jose went above and beyond setting up the appointment with the electrician and later spending much time helping me discuss decor ideas to help illuminate my new chandelier purchase.I have used Hector Madera (Capital Lighting’s go to Electrician) numerous times for various chandeliers. Each time Hector has come to my home, I have given Hector the most difficult and tedious jobs involving intricate detail work with lighting and many crystals . Not once did Hector ever complain or turn me away knowing what he had in store . This last chandelier for my dining room was so difficult to hang that it took four of us to get the placement correctly . 5 hours later the finished product was absolutely exquisite!!Jose came over with Hector and spent the whole day helping Hector on Jose’s day off . You can’t ask for anything more than that. I wanted to thank Capital lightings Jose and Hector for their amazing work . Jose is incredible with placement, design and color while Hector took his time and had incredible patience with us as we figured it all out. I would rate this experience a definite 10. Once again I want to thank you both Jose and Hector greatly for their time and patience!!Nicole from Wellington!
