Been here several times over the years, since my family has vacationed in the area for decades. This chain store is a decent place to shop. The employees are pleasant and helpful. The store isnt TOO big and it is well stocked. Working on a FULL review.

A terrible place to shop with terrible customer service! A day after I bought a cooler and tried to return it a rude manager indicated it couldnt be returned and that there were numerous signs posted that summer merchandise was nonrefundable. After searching I found one (notice how small) and it wasnt there upon purchase. Other experiences here are just as lousy with poor customer service and low quality items. Avoid this place!

They were very nice people that works there. Nice selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. They had lobsters in tanks that you could buy. The store was very busy when we arrived. There was an electric scooter for me plus a big table with cleaning supplies to wipe down the shopping carts.

Pleasant associates and a super clean bathroom. This Hannafords is a great location to shop. Easy to get a close parking spot too! I really liked it!

The staff was from Liam warm and many many kudos because they were understaffed and they did an excellent job food prices for excellent bakery goods were fantastic

I like the Wells, ME store, its clean, always fully stocked, and the people working there are very pleasant. They offer a great variety of fruits, vegetables, as well as meats and seafood, beer, wine, and liquor. Although they offer a small selection of plant based foods, they are hard to locate and limited in choice.

A nice supermarket, but more importantly you can buy humpty dumptys ketchup and all dressed flavor chips😱😍

We were the there on Friday 8/27/21 at 7 pm and the seafood attendant was extremely rude! We asked for haddock and then some butter and he said “ look, you are way ahead of me! I’m trying to get out of here!” Ok sorry, find another job! Suggest you let him go!!

Good choices and clean. I do not like that they do not bother to clean the carts( although they leave something there to do it yourself once you see it) and I have to put money in a plastic dish for the cashier to take yet she can touch it and give me change Back in the uncleaned dish.. ???

Once again, Hannafords Kennebunk fails to have popular products in stock. A multi-million dollar renovation of the store and they still are unable to adequately stock the store. Management has a ton of excuses, but the reality is you can (and should) shop elsewhere. Hannafords in Wells always seems to be well stocked.Lastly, get rid of the popouts in the aisles. The aisles are already narrow and the popouts make it impossible to travel when another shopper is next to them popout.Overall, a very frustrating and maddening experience. Recommend you shop elsewhere if you want to buy all the items on your shopping list.

This store is usually very well stocked - produce is generally pretty fresh, and the employees are kind and helpful. There are selections of local produce, bread from local bakers and similar. It can get a bit crowded in the summer months with the tourists, but they do a good job at keeping things moving.

Best grocery store in town.

Hannaford supermarkets are a mixed bag.A smaller store wont offer the variety of a larger store. It also seems that the Wells store caters more to tourists. Having said that, I prefer Hannaford over(in descending order) Shaws, and Walmart.Especially where fresh produce is concerned!

This place is always clean and the staff are great. My only complaints are that the produce is not always fresh and its never gets marked down for being old - or not enough in my opinion. It also doesnt have a large selection of international foods.

Hannafords are always laid out in a confusing manner. Each store is different. And their prices are kinda high.

They have the best strawberry rhubarb pie and fresh fruit!

Wells Hannaford $$$$ is sure making the tourists pay! Spent $270 for a average cartload, went two towns over and saved over 30% on a full cartload.

Horrible COVID procedure. They try to force customers to “take off” masks when checking IDs and they are putting customers at risk and it should be investigated by health officials. No one should be told that way during the pandemic and they have condescending attitudes toward it and it is concerning.

We are from out of town but still shop at Hannafords. The store was clean easy to navigate and the all the isles were labeled well. I just needed a few things so I was in and out quickly. I will be back again for a full shop tomorrow morning.

I was just like to say I was in there today five times the first time I was in there when I was getting ready to cash out either yell at you need another register service leaders should pay attention more to their customers than the clipboard and I understand youre dealing with customers all the time because I worked for Hannaford for over 7 years and now I do this online delivery service

First and foremost are the delicious muffins, cinnamon chip, butter rum, orange pineapple... yum! They also have make your own salad and an olive bar! Large organic selection.

It is most convenient to me. I find most of what I want it need here. Pricing is comparable.What variation in prices there are, is no longer worth running all over town for the cheapest. It is no longer worth spending $10 in gas and wear and tear on your vehicle to save a $1.....I buy the most expensive cuts of meat, ONLY when they are marked Down.I get Great tasting food at Discounted prices. THATS where I save money.They also have a bargain table. Excellent way to save...

We came here to shop while on Christmas vacation. They had everything we needed from fresh meats, deli and vegetables. The cashiers were very fast and accurate. And there was even offers to help carry the groceries out to our vehicle.

To MJ SULLIVAN:You were charged 60 cents for the wine bottle deposits. Each bottle is a 15 cent deposit in Maine, which equals 60 cents for four wine bottles. You were not ripped off.

My go to when in Wells..

Bought 4 items. Only 3 made it into the bag. My husband had to drive back and we were not offered a refund. Seriously? Baggers and cashiers should be encouraged to FOCUS and stop chitchatting.

Wonderful store. Hardworking, helpful and friendly staff are always around to help you find what you need. We love shopping there.

Theres enough alcohol in here to put down several moose possibly an orca whale. Oh and the sell bomb cakes

Nice ambiance. A little fancier then my local Hannaford being that Wells is a tourist town. Its on the smaller side but has a good selection of items.

Spent to long if a time at the deli .I realize that the person helping me was in training but please 6 people were served and gone and I was still waiting for my ham to be sliced. Someone could have come over to help her!

Went through self check. Three items wouldnt scan because bar code was wrapped around the edges. Be careful what you pick up.
