Great meat market! Steaks, chops, sausage, bacon ... all excellent and delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

Let me start out by saying Prime meat is NOT a butcher shop by any means. You do not meet with anyone knowledgeable but instead two very young girls who were so clueless that they messed up everything that I purchased. First off I asked if they had ground sirloin, after some pondering I was told yes its in the back. So I asked for a 1 - 1/2lbs of ground sirloin. I also asked for 4 filets and some boars head turkey. While I waited I looked around and noticed the majority of the cases were empty. And it seemed a lot of their offerings were in vacuum packaging, the place was not what I expected by any means. So the first issue, the ground sirloin WAS NOT sirloin. It was labeled ground beef and the fat content confirmed it. Secondly I was only given 3 filets instead of 4. And lastly the boars head turkey had started to turn. The pungent smell hit you as soon as the bag was opened. A line of expletives is warranted but I am not going to go there. All I can say is that I will not be back which is sad because I was really excited to have a local non-grocery store option. But at least there the butchers know more than how to use Instagram.

Pork butt was perfect. Took the smoke well and pulled apart like a dream. So flavorful!
