They installed a Compustar remote starter in my 2018 KIA.5 Stars for getting it done quickly and for a ride home.The problems I had were that there were several problems with the installation. Including once I used the remote to turn on my rear defroster it would not turn off. It would run my battery down while I was at work.They very friendly and I brought it back and the installer was profesional. What threw me was he actually said I moved alot of wires and it seems to be working any other problems bring it back.Well it should not be try this try that. There are installation instructions and they could contact the manufacturer if there were problems. It should be installed correctly.The problem of when I would remote start the alarm went off was corrected. I have found work arounds for the other problems such when I turn on the rear defroster with the remote I have to turn it off with the remote before getting into the car.I spent nearly 40k for my car I want someone who knows what they are doing working on it. I do not Trust going back in and having a bunch of wires haphazardly moved around. So what do I do now?

I guess they thought it was ok to smoke in my vehicle while working on it? It almost been a week and the smell is still lingering. I can look past scratching the dash while installing the new head unit but who smokes in someone else’s vehicle? I’d give one star but the receptionist is professional and the price is decent.

I was always fairly happy with the work they do but I needed a decent amount of stuff done and I was trying to give him the business instead of Best Buy. I called, left a message, and did NOT receive a call back. As a result, Best Buy got the business. I needed a head unit installed, backup camera installed, and a remote start...so I know that was a good amount of business I wanted to give you all. Hopefully next time you return your phone calls...youre probably missing out on more than just me and last time I checked...businesses are in business to make money so I assume you guys are in it for the same thing?

My son took his car to the location on 84th street to have a sub-woofer installed. When he received his car back the entire stereo was not working. He went back in to complain and they said they would fix it at no charge. They then had his car for over two weeks and even transferred it to their other location because they couldn’t fix it at 84th street. Well they proceeded to take his whole car apart - I’m talking taking out the seats, carpet, and dash. My son kept calling to get an update and they would tell him it will be ready tomorrow. Finally a week later he gets his car back and the dash is loose, they put a gash in the shifter, broke his electric start, and now he has a leak in his tire. They destroyed his car. I guess our next step is to contact a lawyer and see what steps we need to take to have this all fixed.

Came in to get a new headunit install and 2 amps on my Ram. They did quite a neat a clean install and gave me reccomendations on what I needed to acheive my goals for how I wanted my truck to sound. They did everything I requested at a decent price. I ran 0 gauge to 2 sundown high end amps and they treated the job as such. Once again I brought my truck up and they did a full component speakers install for me same day, and a nice clean install. They did not have time to dial it in tune wise, but they got close enough I was able to get the sound I was looking for in my driveway 15mins after. Thanks guys.

Having no experience with this aspect of cars it is very easy to worry about trusting someone not to take advantage of you. Im overall happy with the service, it took a little longer than expected, but that was the fault of my vehicles key. I had recently purchased a vehicle and apparently the key wasnt fully programmed, so the tech spent extra time with tech support trying to find a workaround, but there really wasnt one other than to get a new key. Neil went above and beyond and contacted a local locksmith and was able to find me a fully programmed key for a fraction of the cost at the Lexus dealer.

Stereo one put in my car stereo beautifully a month ago. I had trouble with autoplay and went back to them. They resolved it in minutes! It was my issue, not theirs, but they walked me through it. Love these guys!

Stopped in without an appointment, I only had a 5 minute wait before they were able to service my vehicle.I came in for a remote power to amp issue. These guys were polite, professional, and fast. I have a used truck I purchased that had a security system installed that required us to push a button while turning the key to start it. I brought the vehicle to 2 other places before stereo1one and they couldnt figure it out. It took stereo1one less than an hour and they had this removed from the truck. So awesome and so fast and so affordable!

Stopped in there today to have a head unit replaced. The stock head unit in my optima needed an upgrade and sadly I didnt opt for the infinity upgrade when I bought the car. The owner was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. I loved the way he dealt with other customers as well. He struck me as the type of guy you could talk to for hours about car audio. The head unit was swapped out in a couple of hours and I couldnt be more thrilled. It was a spur of the moment decision to have it done today. I pulled in a half hour after I called which was nice because I wanted it done that day. Just had Audio work done this past Saturday, and can I tell you from the time I walked in the door I was very pleased with customer service (Neil) he was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Prices are reasonable. The service was fast. I was expecting rude customer service and a long wait time I got the total opposite thank God. 😀 Will definitely do business with him again I have another car he can service.

I purchased a head unit with way more settings than i knew existed. After my attempt to figure out the settings myself, my stereo sounded terrible. I drove to Stereo1 and they got me in immediately. They tuned the head unit to sound its full potential, and then explained to me how each setting changes how the music sounds. Great service and i will definitely go back for any stereo needs i have in the future.

I called earlier to make an appointment for a remote starter, they said itd be more than 2-3 hours. Which I thought was fine, then I dropped my car off and within about 25-30 minutes it got all done! Really quick and super efficient and definitely recommend this place. Very likely to come back and get other things done for my car as well!

These guys went above and beyond to install an alarm/remote start system they dont normally carry for me. The system works perfectly. I brought the car in with the dash partially disassembled from previous work and got a look at the install when I reassembled it. The wiring job was as factory looking as possible and tucked as high into the dash as possible. Really good work for the prices

It is sad to say this but I called to get information on an install and the guy answering the phone cant even answer the phone. It sounded like he had a mouth full of ping pong balls and said something like straw-be-gone as fast as he could. Then he kept repeating we install attic-fat in an answer to my request for a quote. You need more polite and articulate people to answer your phones! Sorry but you lost a customer because of some rude tech who should not be answering phones and needs to learn to listen.

Chose stereo1one to get my remote start put in and my windows tinted. Neil was awesome! He helped me choose which remote start to go with and what tint to go with. The remote starter ended up taking longer than expected so I had to come in again to get my windows tinted a different day. Neil was very apologetic and took my car to the oak creek store for me to get the windows tinted and was very accommodating by letting me drop my car off early and pick it up later. I had a very good experience at stereo1one. My car looks awesome and Im ready for winter! All for a very good price!!!

The remote start was a little cheaper than other places, but we got my wifes van back and it reeked of cigarette smoke.Talked to the guy in charge and he said he did know if his workers smoked or not.He did offer to clean it, but it would have been in the same smoke filled garage. I declined.We now need to get a professional cleaning for my PREGNANT wifes van.12/6/18The owner tried to reach out to me, so Im going to go into detail.My wife picked up her van and went straight to work (night shift). She said it was very smokey but thought that if she left the windows open ALL night, it wouldnt be an issue. She only said somthing the next morning because the smoke smell was STILL overwhelming.I call stereo1 as soon as they opened and the owner said he would get to the bottom of it and immediately call me back.He did not. I called again at 1 with no answer, so I decided to go in.He didnt seem to care much at all. He offered to chemical clean it( why would I take it to get cleaned in the smokey garage?). When I asked him if he let the workers smoke while working on peoples cars, he acted like he had no idea what was going on.Before I left I told him I would make sure to let people know about my experience there, which is probably why he reached out to me today.

I was looking for a remote start to put I’m my new vehicle and was recommended some places but after doing a little research the reviews all kept recommending Stero One. This place was amazing and Neil is the best! I had to wait for it to be done and they accommodated me and made sure it was done as fast as possible. Neil is super reasonable and doesn’t pressure you into buying something that isn’t necessarily worth it. Would recommend this place to everyone!

They installed my pioneer double din on my Yukon Denali last year and I havent had any issues with it plus they prices are reasonable. I bought some ghost lights for my Touareg and they didnt come with the wire harness needed to install the parts the installer at stereo one solder some speaker wire to my negative and positive wire so I could install them seeing how easy they are to hook up. I appreciate the business they are running at stereo one plus its around the corner from my house so if I can’t install something in one of my cars this is my go to shop.

StereoOne has done a few jobs for me. Just had a stereo installed today and everything is great! Previously had a remote start installed also went smoothly. They offer superior products at a reasonable price. Their pricing is competitive not the absolute cheapest but very competitive. Overall great experience. Starting with great over the phone customer service with the location on 27th st. Then realizing I was closer to the 84th st location I went in and got the same great service. Neil was patient and answered all my questions. Stopped in 9/1/17 looking for a different box for my Silverado as I didnt like the sound of my Memphis subs. I stopped by New Years Eve to get info about getting a sub installed. They told me they could do it then and there... so I paid and took a seat. I remember Scarface was on the TV - and before the movie had finished, they were done. The work looked quality, professional. I was happy. I did do a little research after I left, and found that maybe the prices were like 15% more than you can order the stuff on amazon yourself. But, I didnt try to negotiate - and hey, theyre a small local shop. Plus - they handle warranty work. Which - brings me to my next thing. I was driving and there was a loud pop sound and it smelled like smoke. The sub had died. I took it back in a few days later - and they swapped it out with a new amp (that amp must have fried.) I watched them work on it this time - and they did a great job. Im sure it was just a bad amp. In under an hour, they had me on the road again. Totally worth the $, nice guys, good work. I hardly ever write reviews - and I waited to do so to see if anything went wrong - it did - and they fixed it up too. Great place.
