Fast, honest, and reliable. Brought my car in for inspection and was told I needed to replace my rear brakes and rotors to pass. I also needed new rear tires. He gave me a good price for it all and had my car finished and ready to pick up the next day. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here.

My car was towed here at the recommendation of a family friend after my check engine light came on. As a young female I do try and go to shops only off recommendations because I know people try to take advantage. Unfortunately, I still feel Mike tried to take advantage of me and my situation. I was sent an invoice for over $1,000, including a full tune up and oil change. (?) I explained to him that my oil was just changed 6 days prior. He insisted I still get it changed to confirm the oil is synthetic. I confirmed with him the oil was synthetic and he STILL insisted we can have the oil sent to a lab to confirm its synthetic, but of course id be charged for the lab fees. I also was not yet due for a tune up, he said I might as well just get it while im here. Fast forward to me picking up my car, I had a loyal friend recommend what on my invoice actually had to be done and it only cost $250 to actually fix my issue ($107 of that price was just for them to run the diagnostics test.) Glad I was not trusting with their initial recommendations.

They don’t try and swindle you into doing work on your car that you don’t need, they are fast and efficient AND when they do need to do work on your car they are honest and try to help you understand why parts need to be fixed or replaced. 10/10 would recommend this place!

Sorry about the late review but this has bothered me for years. When they first opened I figured I would give them a try as the previous owners were great. I had to get an inspection but I knew there were things wrong with the carI asked the owner not to run the inspection and do an evaluation as we needed to make repairs first.When I got back to the shop I was hit with a bill for a failed inspection. When I asked him why he did that he turned around and nastily said to me. I have kids and need to make a living. Well guess what I have kids to and besides how much money could you possibly make from an inspection. I could only imagine what he would do if he had late Bills and my car was in his shop. Very nasty guy. I would never ever go there again.

This is my first time there And Ill be back . I had a flat tire and they fixed it and put it back on . I would have given at 10 Stars if they had 10

Both my wife and I just got inspections here a couple weeks apart. First time using them. Mike was very accommodating bringing us both in day of and kind of last minute without appointment. Very happy so far and plan to use them for future service.

As it is a convenient location close to my workplace, left my car for spark plug + air filter replacement. Good service, friendly environment. I am usually a DIY (Do It Yourself) person for almost all the basic mechanical and electronic repairs since I love to do it. However, didnt want to take a risk as spark plugs were never changed since long time and pretty old.Found a better and decent price quote here after comparing with many other work shops. 3 Rating only because I found they did not replace the air filter in that visit so I had to visit them again next day, that too with 4 hours drop off for their mistake.

If you are ready to spend your money for no use then this is the best place. I was shocked to see how they charge their customers. Please inquire about labor charges before you step in. I was charged very high (104$/hr). As soon as I heard this I was disappointed and I asked like how much would they charge if I dont want to fix. They said like they would reduce only 3$ (of total bill) as the switch they are going to replace is very cheap. But when I saw the bill, they have charged ~59 for the switch. I have visited lot of repair shops and this is the worst experience I ever had. They not only charged me more but also they lied.Please inquire about rates if you decide to go here and compare the rates with other repair shops. Even showrooms will charge much cheaper than these people.

Needed an inspection and oil change.... they were able to fit me in immediately and service was completed in an hour. Professional and courteous. Highly recommend.

Recently tried this shop out and was very happy with the service. The people in the office and the garage were very friendly and my car is running great. Very very very unhappy with these people if you have read any of the other comments about the change of the prices from Quote to the final price it is all absolutely true I had a quote for a three hour job for $150 the work was done on Monday when I went to pick it up it was $389 to pick up my Ford explorer when I drop this car off I had purchased the new part on my own,,, I then notice on the receipt I was charged again for the part which would not make sense since they did not purchase the part at $39.99. Whether it was the intake speed sensor or the output speed sensor you ask Mike he would say there’s really no difference until it comes down to making the payment to pick up the ford now it becomes this big deal apparently,,, but the job still took three hours and 50 minutes all of a sudden my Ford Explorer must be a foreign car they also decided to charge $109 an hour or was it 7. However the first quote of $150 he also told me it would take the same three hours it took almost 4 hours but the other hours were all marked up way overpriced making the 3 hrs not cost $150 but dam near $400 And in the end there is no difference my O/D light is still flashing my check engine light is still on because both of these only started to appear once the one speed sensor had its issues nothing has changed except for the fact I do believe my Ford explore is running worse than it was when I drove it into the shop I feel as though I gave these people $400 for absolutely nothing nothing change nothing went right nothing went good except for the fact they try to sell me my next problem which I’m feeling as though they already caused it. A quote on the phone for $700 same quote he was telling me about in person was $300 you do the math it will be the same thing all over again and probably with worse results I wouldn’t let them touch the enemy of mine‘s car understand and please stay away nothing good comes out of business with these people** hint hint they get you in and out quick a good thing ???? no most people already know what you’re dealing with they have open bays. Cuz customers are becoming aware Stay away

Mike has been my mechanic for a number of years now. He is the only mechanic I have ever trusted. As a woman, you know that mechanics will take advantage of your lack of knowledge about cars, Mike has never done that. In fact, he educates you about the repair and why it’s necessary. He will answer any question, big or small, stupid or not, patiently and honestly. I highly recommend this shop and will continue to go there for many years to come!!

Irresponsible people,I brought my car for inspection the person who took my information,told leave the car when is done I will call you.he never called so I went to the shop to pick my car .only to find out that they have scratched the passenger side door.i told the person in charge of the shop or owner all he did is deny we didn’t do it.he is so irresponsible for.this is not the way to do business.terrible service never again go to this place

Honest, reliable repair shop. I have been bringing my wifes car and my own to Mike for over 8 years (in new location and back when he was located on Sunrise Hwy, Lindenhurst). They are very flexible in scheduling of repairs and service and they stand behind their work.

Left a message for them to call back with a price for repair. Nobody got the message so I had to call back. Then he quotes me a price $400 more than the next guy for a simple repair. No thanks. Customer beware.

Ive been there twice in less than 2 months, first time oil change and they show me the serpentine belt needed change because it was brittled. Mike took the time to show me what it looked like and didnt feel like I was being pressure to change it right away. Mike also showed me the brakes which were worn out and he gave me a quote on writing. The second time was for annual inspection, and I had the brakes and rotor fixed and he honored his quote several weeks later. I truly feel I finally found an honest and hard working mechanic. If you dont believe it check his hands, those are the hands of a hard working man and he likes the show Vikings. On addition I live in Malverne which is over 20 miles away but I dont mind. Thank you Mike.

Finding another repair shop at this point. Set up an appointment with this station to have my Nissan reflashed. They have a guy cone in to do it by appointment I guess. I took half a day off and soecifically asked the owner would the guy definitely be coning to the appointment if I set it up as I would have to take time off from work before I scheduled the appointnent. I came in to sit for the afternoon. After an hour the third party guy cancelled. I understand the owner was dealing with a third party. HOWEVER he should have made it clear to me there was no guarantee the guy would show to do the work. I would have taken it to Nissan instead. I asked him when he called the third party to confirm with him he would definitely be there. He told me he would. Then the owner acted like it had been totally out of his hands. He did bear some responsibility for my inconvenience.

My 2006 LandRover overheated recently. Brought it into LandRover to see what the problem was. We knew the coolant was leaking. When I booked the appointment, I specifically said will the truck be seen or will you have an overflow of appointments from the previous week. I was assured the truck would be looked at. Truck sat for two days. Then was tested for a few more days. After 8 days at LandRover, they wanted to do more testing to find the problem. After spending close to $500 later and no solution to the problem, I called Hobie Lopez-Garib because I knew her husband had a repair shop. Im so sorry I didnt go there first. I dropped the truck off to Babylon Complete Auto Repair, her husbands shop, on Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. Mike called me at 10 am to inform me of a crack in my water pump. I asked for an oil change and an inspection since the truck was in the shop anyway. By 2:30 pm, Mike called me to tell me my truck was ready. I cant tell you how impressed I am with his professionalism, his work, his customer service, his shop. His prices were fair and reasonable. The work is guaranteed and he followed up with me to make sure everything was running well. If you need any auto repair work done, I highly recommend Babylon Complete Auto Repair.
