This is as Im walking into Whole Foods. Luxury supermarket for the middle and low income families. Love their bakery, I was looking for roasterrie chicken,come to find out they dont have that. Wow a this supermarket does not have hot food section...if any chance newer Lidl lets put that in...anyway, always clean, and staff are the most friendliest here. Great job Lidl.

Honestly I wasnt thrilled. Its like a bigger version of Aldi slightly more named brands but not too many. Deli selection was slim pickings and no boars Head. Fruit was pretty much just bagged stuff. Didnt go into the main section the store too much just the dairy deli and produce once they didnt have that I left.

I love shopping here. Prices are reasonable and products even through not name brand still worth having. Products are fresh along with there meats. Check it out.

Bang for your buck. Produce prices are reduced here but seem to last longer than paying full price at competitive grocery stores.

Like prices on items store runs out of items quick because of low price its not a store that carries Big name product so everything is very low price and sell fast

Like the new layout its easy to find what your looking for. The fresh food being moved to the front is great.The fresh foods are fresh and go quickly so know when your store gets them in.

Very rude customer service. But they do have great meat prices. Take your time and walk around the store, you wont find a lot of popular name brand things. But there brand is just as good.

Reasons I like it:. Always a fast shopping experience, in and out! Always do self checkout, unless you need to return something. A lot of items are great deals. I love the random cycle of unpredictable buys that appear and disappear. Very modern European shopping experience.Reasons to miss Best Market: Inconsistent produce/meat quality and availability. Not always a good deal. For most staple items I prefer Aldi. Best Market has better sales on better quality product meat/seafood/produce. Best perfectly captures the traditional old world American supermarket feel.

Phenomenal customer service. Had an issue with some property damage and they were beyond helpful & accommodating. Truly amazing company who stands by their customers.

Larger selection in all departments compared to Aldis. Very reasonable prices and many in store sales at reduced prices, ample parking. Self checkout is a big time saver. Visit and see for yourself the quality and the savings.

Love this store. The beef, pork and chicken are very tender delicious. The cold cuts are very good. Havent been disappointed yet. Plus there fruit and vegetables are also good. This is my store.

I have yet to find something thats lidl brand that doesent taste good, every single thing was cheap and 4-5 star quality, and for those prices in new york, they cant be beat right now.

Lidl is unique in that it depends what kind of a shopper you are.If you want variety, this is not your place.If you are price conscious, they sell a lot of stuff keep it in the warehouse clubs.

Great little supermarket with a wonderful array of house-brand items. Produce is top quality, pricing is amazingly affordable & the meat is always delicious! I highly recommend the LIDL brand pringles -- wayyy better than the name brand!!

My new go to grocery store. Lots of parking, always a lot of shopping carts available, wide aisles, wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and fresh herbs like cilantro. I love the bakery and frozen section if youre looking for a quick meal. Download the app and take advantage of coupons. The lines can be long, but they move quick, there is also a self check section. A grocery store that sells plastic Hub Caps....Hardly any name brand foods, and no deli, but a deli section . Alsovyou must read EVERYTHING! The boxes have familiar color schemes and look alike fonts. But when you read the label the weights and measures. They are very different from the name brands. When you adjust so you can compare you are paying at or above name brand prices, for no frills products.You know how they say buyer beware...Having no understanding of where this food comes from (usually its NOT American, or i should say United States) you dont know what/safety and purity standards, if any, were used. This is stuff we put in our bodies...Buyer be scared.

Great selection and I was pleasantly surprised by the bakery! The Italian bread is yummm! It was warm when I purchased it! They have name brand and store brand items. A nice mix of household items, and seasonal items. Additionally, upon entering the store my cart was cleaned for me! The prices are very reasonable too. Produce is fresh and the store is clean, stocked but uncluttered. Win-Win! So glad I stopped to give this new store a try.

I love walking around and looking and new items.I find the store and carts dirty. No one cleaning or making sure cleaning wipes are full.The self check out is filthy and should be cleaned by the attendant standing there.Its a shame that no one cares.

It was good. Not as many weird items as there had been this summer. The employees are great and super helpful.

Lidl is popping up all over and I have to say, I really enjoy shopping here. They dont have all the varieties offered in the BIG supermarkets, but you can find some great money saving deals. Nice selection of cheeses at a cost far below big stores. The chicken salad is excellent. Burger and dog rolls very inexpensive. Nice bakery section. I especially like the baguette bread. Donuts and bagels arent bad either. They have cold cuts, but they are pre sliced and selection is limited. They have fresh meat, but I havent tried yet. The frozen burgers are great. The aisles are wide enough to accommodate social distancing and you can get in and out quickly.

Becareful lots of druggy types begging in lot !!I was at self checkout and the “ helper” accused me of not ringing up 3 paper bags ( I had and if he had just leaned in and looked at my screen he could have avoided being ugly with me ) So, for 21 cents he alienated a customer!UPDATE !!! i’ma fool and went back august 2021I picked out a pack of hummus. As i was ringing it up i noticed the barcode was ripped off but somebody had hand wrote the code on the label. It felt sketchy and I went to go get another one. As I was running to get another one an employee ran after me yelling miss miss across the store till I got to hummus case. At that point asked me if I speak English? I explain I wanted a different one as I didnt like the handwriting label one as I didnt know how long it was out of the fridge. She says it was her that wrote the label and there was nothing wrong with it and I need to buy that one... I didnt argue but I took a different flavor to avoid trouble... Bad feeling from their staff.Also, I felt “ watched “ and “ followed” during a previous visit.Those experiences combined with a less than stellar selection has made me second think shopping at LidlA side note : Be careful !!! beggars and panhandling in the parking lot. There is a wooded area at the western end of lot with homeless drug addicted people there.

Brand new store with insanely low prices. 88 cents for a giant tin of sour cream for example. They have a deli section but only precut which kinda sucks but all around a good store

This was my second time here. First thing you notice is the price. If you are on a budget this is definitely the place you want to go. They have a wide variety of products, fresh baked goods and clothes and other stuff too. I also appreciate all the space in the aisles. They wiped my cart at the door as I was greeted. Very affordable.

The BEST supermarket on Long Island. Excellent value, wide assortment of unique items and all the kitchen staples as well.

Easy and inexpensive shopping experience. Was a Stop and Shop regular for years. Ive since switched Lidl. Not sure why anyone should be paying so much for regular groceries.

I don’t want to shop here cause the security guards and staff are creeping me out... especially at self check out. Don’t worry Lidl I won’t steal from your store.

I didnt love it and was really hoping to. The store was clean and employees friendly and helpful, but there was a lack of variety of items. This could be bc Lidl is a non-traditional supermarket but for me this isnt going to be a one-stop shop.

Interesting new type of supermarket. Was looking for better bargains as per what Ive read about Lidl, but since they have a lot of name brands, I imagine I will never see their brand of the name brand item. Id rather see less name brands and more bargains. We bought some foods we have never bought before and are looking forward to trying them.

Store is very clean and employees I have dealt with have been very nice. Prices are very good on a lot of things. The fresh breads are amazing. I find it annoying that a lot of the produce is prepackaged and cant be bought individually. It would be nice if they had a larger selection of fresh herbs.

Has a number of brand name items and equivalent Lidl branded items. Wish the staff took more care when putting out fresh produce out instead of dumping into display boxes. Need to slowly shop the aisles because organization of products not typical of American markets. Buyer beware- Prices are lower on some items but so is the size or quantity. So far not a bad place to pick up some grocery items.

The store is so confusing I dont know how its organized. Maybe by brand? you have pickles and shaving cream in the same aisle. But its always clean. Hope they dont change the other Best Markets

I like the store, it’s like Aldi. I loved Best market though. They always had fresh produce and local bread. I just hope they don’t convert the Babylon location to a Lidl. PS- I just don’t know what the point of buying a company out like Best Market. Then completely converting it to a different store model. I think that was a waste of money.
