This was my first time going to powerhouse. They have a fast turn around time for the amount of work and quality they put into their builds. Frank takes the time to explain everything to you about the build and part quality, no matter how big or small the project. I never felt pressured into getting things I dont need. Nor did I feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience. They very much put you and your bike first. Im definitely going back to do more updates.

Update time. Quick shifter, power commander, ECU unleashed flash, and dyno tune completed. Bike runs amazing, she never stops giving. All my questions have been answered. No more guessing. All my specs, horsepower, torque, top speed are on paper (facts). Frank is a true master at his craft. I plan on coming back this winter to start another project. Im thinking about race cams, and lowering the bike. Also, many plug & play options are available for power commander V. Stay tuned.

Brought my ducati 1299 here for a flash tune, after receiving the tune my bike was stalling off of idle maybe 10 times every time i took it out, frank kept insisting that something was wrong with my bike and it had nothing to do with the tune, in which case i temporarily refused his terms for the refund since he swore it wasn’t the tune that was the issue i didn’t wanna throw away a “good” tune... figured i’ll make sure whats causing the issue b4 throwing away the tune. After plenty of easily accessible research on the ducati forums and by speaking to multiple ducati techs, i was told its the air fuel ratio thats the issue apparently the 1299’s are sensitive when air fuel ratios are off and it causes a stalling condition. Even when confronted with this information frank still refused to have the afr’s adjusted, continuing to tell me theres something mechanical wrong with my bike. So, i spent about $600 to have the coil wires, coils and spark plugs changed in an attempt to troubleshoot the stalling issue. Of course it made no difference, the bike was still stalling. In my research i found that the only other cause of the stalling could be a valve issue, but before i was gonna go down that road i had to have someone try messing with the afr’s. So i finally took the bike to hudson valley motorcycles to have it retuned as they assured me the air fuel ratios were off. After the job was done they told me the bike was running extremely lean and now with the afr’s corrected it runs great idles strong and never stalls or even gives as much as a hiccup. If you want a good tune please avoid this place. Also i asked for a refund again confronting him with this new information that the air fuels being corrected fixed the issue and he has refused, even though i offered to show my receipt from the place that retuned the bike since he was insinuating that im trying to get a free tune from him, but he still refused. Avoid powerhouse at all costs people.Response to reply: Lmao, mechanical issues?!? Call Hudson valley motorcycles in ossining and ask to speak with steve... ask him exactly what he did to my bike, he will tell you.. dyno tune, your tune was garbage. Nothing mechanical was wrong with my bike i spent $600+ because i listened to you and went digging for a mechanical cause and all that did was blow more of my money. The only thing that was done since you last saw the bike at your shop stalling all over the place is a proper tune. Nothing else. Ask him, ask steve how it stalled on him like 15 times before he got to tuning it. Once tuned, it idles perfect no stalling whatsoever. Don’t agree to work you cant do on a bike you don’t know anything about. And now refusing a refund lol. Good luck bud. I guess your $380 for your garbage tune is worth more than your business.

After a long conversation what should i do with my 2020 Yamaha Mt09 with full akrapovic system, Frank suggested to get a power commander and a Tune. It was a good choice. My bike is running like a dream.Thank you

Place is a joke. Way over priced. Had a leak in my rear tire. Oil pressure gauge was blinking on the dash of my R3. Plus I need inspection and an oil change. Left with no result of the leak...later on I got a flat. No inspection was ever put on the bike but I payed and ran back to work and never checked. So I’m out $6 what ever. Charged me I’ve a $100 for an oil change. Never addressed the oil pressure light. Place is a disaster don’t bring any bike here at all.

They charge you for things no other shop will chare you for. If they cant fix the problem they will not tell you and keep charging you for the work they thought was right... Im speaking for other people ITS NOT JUST ME please tread carefully there are better shops trust me. Fixed my bike spent 550 and it breaks down the next day. Worse case scenario go here

I brought my 636 in to frank to get dyno tuned knowing it wasnt running its best. After the dyno results frank showed me how horrible my bike was running before the dyno. My air to fuel ratio was so off and instead of trying to scam me for more money like other places in the past, he was nothing but honest from the first phone call and truly wanted my bike to run to its top potential. I got my bike back a totally different bike, highly recommend powerhouse. Thank you for the awesome service and complete upgrade of my bike frank!

I had the pleasure of talking to frank in the past and he gave me free advice over email. Even though I live in canada I had my ECU shipped to him to get it flashed. Just a quick note to thank Frank and Jason for the work they completed on my VTX. The new clutch, tune up and complete service completed was TOP NOTCH. This bike never ran as good as it does now, not even when it was new. These guys are PROS at what they do and Id recommend them to anyone that wants their machine to run at its fullest capabilities. Got my ECU flashed. I thought I ruined the bike. turns out the bike made so much more power the clutch cable had to be adjusted. Once adjusted holy ish. Its an hour away but Franks the only guy that works on my bikes from now on. Thanks Frank!Yellow Triumph Triple

Cant say enough about Powerhouse!! Brought my 2013 turbo hayabusa for Frank to dyno tune. Made more horsepower with it then I was expecting and didnt sacrifice drivability to get there. Bike runs amazing at all rpms. I will be making the trip back next time this year with the bike to make more power and I know the right people to take it to is Powerhouse Motocycles. They fixed my M109R clutch and oil pan after new York motorcycle messed my bike up and insisted it was like that when I rode it in... leaking oil and stripped oil drain... now the bike is putting the power to the ground and no oil leakes.. Im only going to POWERHOUSE for now on.

Its not professional, he charge me $835, dollars for a job he didnt complete! Took him a motorcycle because it didnt start, he couldnt started & still charge me $835 dollars! I will never take a motorcycle to him,I know he has a business to run, but how ur going charge a person that much money,if i told him everything that I did, he did as Well! I recently brought my 2014 Kawasaki ZX6-R to Powerhouse Motorcycles to get Dyno - Tuned. I had a couple other shops much closer to my location, but when I talked to Frank over the phone, I knew he was the guy I was going to. Frank took his time to precisely answer all my questions. My CEL light is on and frank threw in a diagnostic check for free, while also explaining to me how to fix and get the light off. He gave me a folder with both before and after dyno tests and my bike felt great after the tune.I recommend this shop to anyone in the tri-state area.Thanks again Frank

Rip off house. Owner is not a nice person. Didnt know my bike and overcharged me. Turns out his dyno needs to be calibrated. Bike lights all stopped working a day after I picked it up. He charged me AGAIN to fix what he had broken. Dont trust him. HORRIBLE!
