Theres a lot of employees moving around finding customers who need help; everyone is upbeat, smiling and knowledgeable about all the products. Its always a pleasure shopping here. The store is clean and well organized;chances are you will find what youre looking for and pay a fair price for quality products.
One star, not for this particular store itself but for Home Depots atrocious customer service by telephone. Id prefer not to rate this particular store so low (Im sure theyre fine), but I see no other way to get the message to Home Depot HQ. I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to make a simple 1-item order, only to be put on hold with no end in sight. I hung up and processed it on-line myself in about a minute. The reason I had to call in the first place was necessary at the time but unimportant to mention.Home Depot, your phone system kept ending my calls prematurely and dropping into apparent loops. Your rep was incapable of making a simple order, he seemed unfamiliar with your store, his audio was breaking up and very unclear, and he struggled with speaking English. I understand how hard it is to speak a foreign language and dont discredit him for trying, but your customer service reps should communicate clearly - especially over the phone.Another source of frustration is Home Depots inept way of handling tax exempt accounts over the phone and online. Other companies manage to handle tax exempt accounts efficiently and effectively. What is your problem, Home Depot?In the past, Home Depot has messed up our orders, overcharged us, and gotten delivery dates wrong.All of these are reasons why I will generally stay away from Home Depot unless I have no other choice.
The home depot associate told me Id have better luck somewhere else rather than him helping me with a price on an item.
Had exactly what I needed and the workers were very helpful to help me load the multiple heavy bags of sandbox sand into my cart. Very good stop overall.
People here are almost always sooo helpful, and caring. I get sent here a lot because why not send the wife when she doesnt know what she is going for and just has to explain the use of it or what you need it to do... thank you for always being so patient with me

The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They want to help you get what you need. Its clean and well lit and stocked. A great experience for home improves and do it yourselfers.
It’s a Home Depot so not much else to say. The employees are a bit “ambitious?” to try and help, might be a good thing for some people that are not sure where to find certain items. It does seem like it takes this store in particular a bit longer (than other Home Depot’s) to get help for loading, but I’m not sure that should detract from this review in what they offer .
Staff are always friendly and helpful.They carried my heavy bags of soil into my car for me and are always helpful in helping me find something when I cant find them.

Great price, delivered in good time. The fridge had three dents in it, box was perfect, so it mustve shipped that way from the manufacturer. Even exchanged it that afternoon, refunded the cost of shipping. They even took the new one out of the box for me so I could inspect it. Happy with the customer service...

Its home depot - what more can you say! This Home Depot does have very friendly staff that was also very helpful matching a paint that we had gotten from Lowes but had since been discontinued.

I go here for buying power tools, hand tools, and paint without a doubt. Its a great place to buy high quality tools, paint, grills, John Deere lawn mowers, and the employees are always ready to help you and are capable of answering the questions you have. Its not the best place for appliances and serviceability after purchases. They use 3rd party contractors for installing and servicing their appliances.

Its The Home Depot it doesnt really need a review....if you need something to fix your house or are a contractor and need supplies then this is the place for you. Store is always clean and has higher end registers and self checkouts than other stores. They also offer MILITARY DISCOUNT which is the main reason we shop here if we need anything home improvement related.
Great store, prices arent as good as the one across the road, but overall great place to shop.

Was good. Got what I needed and was out. But the young lady that I said have a good day to. Was not having it I guess. She didnt reply or even recognize me at all.
They were so very friendly and helpful I am always thankful how well they take care of military families. Home depots customer service is far superior to menards.
This store is awesome ROD helped us out he was very knowledgeable an understanding honest and funny😂😂 the store was clean an organized calm and quiet I loved everything about it. Its a home depot. Love their garden Center though....the variety of plants and its obvious the staff knows their gardening! It nice to have a gardening conversation, without that high schooler dead pan, this is just a job dude. Do you want me to scan it or not? Attitude and have the associates actually know what gardening/landscaping is all about!
Respectful regarding peoples choice on wearing masks or not. Unlike the Menards across the street. Youll get my business. Thumbs up!

Great HD location.. Im hosed, so wife is getting the driveway salt... the staff fell over each other rushing to carry the the heavy bags out! Always helpful, bought all of our remodeling stuff there and rented associated equipment too... their design staff helped us get the right custom sized stuff ordered correctly.. place across the street needs help to catch up.
Some prices are a little high. But for the most part they usually have what I need.

Excellent place to conduct business. Clean, well organized, and staff was outgoing. I personally try to return as often as possible. A bit far from my location and it worth the extra time and miles to return.
I was looking for a certain product and just could not find it. Finally the Store Manager asked if I needed help. I explained to her ( I think her name was Crystal) what I was looking for and she advised me that they did not carry that product, but they had something similar. She walked us over to the product and asked if we had any questions. She was very knowledgeable of the store products and where they were. Its refreshing to get this type of service.

Customer service was very poor and lacking product knowledge. We were looking for information on wall ovens that they carry but they didn’t have any to view. The sales person said they didn’t have them in the store due to so many different styles. We thought that was weird since they carried so many different styles of dishwashers on display. When we asked about them on the website, he really couldn’t answer any questions but we could understand that. What was frustrating was that they didn’t seem too interested in making a sale though.
At most stores, you have to wander aisle to aisle in hopes of finding an employee but not the case here. They were all over the place and both people were very friendly and helpful in finding what I was looking for.
Some employees are very nice, but I couldnt find the things I needed an those that helped me were either uninterested in helping or arrogant and rude.
I was there this afternoon and bought a dish washer and some mulches.Rhodes, the appliance specialist, was excellent with great service.In the gardening area, there are two giant entrance doors. Two cashiers were at each door side. I stopped by the right hand side first, the lady asked to go to the other side while she was doing nothing. When I stopped by the left side, the other lady asked to me wait and shut the left entrance door. So I had to drag my purchasing back to the right side and out after checkout. Thats ridiculous.

We worked with Justin a flooring specialist who was very nice, professional, and super helpful. He even stayed overtime to help us resolve our online order issue. We appreciated his service a lot! Would be comfortable working with any employee at this Home Depot, they are all very nice!
Always easy to find what I need
During checkout there was an issue while trying to use a gift card we had to purchase our items. Manager Anne was very patient and thorough while dealing with my frustration and the confusing situation customer service had put her through. Taking reasonable COVID-19 precautions. Very helpful staff--way more than across the street. Do carefully pick through wood products to avoid warping and winding.
Not a fan of Home Depot but I needed a new fridge fast. I had to hunt for an employee. Asked him questions he didnt know the answers to and didnt bother to find an answer. 3 stars because I did find a fridge at a decent price and, besides not answering questions, the sales guy was nice.

Ordered a check valve from Home Depots website. I choose pick-up and had locker number assigned to me. It came up as invalid. I went back to car and choose curbside pick-up. That process was flawless. I did come at a busy time at the West Bend Home Depot at 4:30pm and my curbside wait was 3 minutes before I had my check valve. Product itself was in good functioning order. If afraid of COVID-19 and doing in-store shopping. I most difently recommend Curbside pick up. Plus no additional fee for curbside.

If I was content to deal with people who couldnt find the items have, have tools marked incorrectly and we have no help to offer I would have just gone right to Menards.Guy in the cowboy hat just said didnt know and walked away.

Ive shopped at many Home Depots and have to say that the West Bend location has had the most friendly and knowledgeable staff . Having bought a house about 3 miles from the store, Im at Home Depot about once a weekend and everytime I have been pleasantly surprised by the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff.
Very friendly knowledgeable where every thing is located. I give it a five star.
Don’t be fooled by the words “free delivery. You will get a random time block- 4 hours long! The day before your delivery date. So you can imagine how much your employer will love to give you half the day off, the day before. So you can plan or paying a sick day or personal day for this “free delivery”. And it’s not just the initial delivery that works this way. When you call to “reschedule”. You get another delivery a week later and another 4 hour timeframe. You may as well rent a truck and do the work yourself. At least you can do it at a time that works for you.
This is one great place to find All Of ones home building/maintenance needs. If one of the floor people cant answer your question he or she will go out of there way to get your queston answered. A new loyal customer.

I am 75 years old. A young woman helped me make a choice of tomatoes plants and a Rhododendron plant and even helped me get my items in my van. I will shop Home Depot over Menards any day. Really appreciate the extra mile they go for their customers. What a great person this lady was in helping me. Hope she is there again when I return. She is a asset to Home Depot.

Tennies is an institution in West Bend. It was here b4 I moved to the area in 88. Before the big boxes arrived, Id split my purchases btwn Tennies, Jim and Daves and Fleet Farm. Well, J&D is no more and Fleets relocation to the back of beyond is just too far to go for routine hardware purchases (I live in Trenton, 6 miles East of WB on Paradise). So, that leaves Tennies. Menards and Home Depot.I typically like to support local businesses over the BgBx stores 1) on principle and 2) more knowledgeable and personalized service.Well, I have to report that Tennies--WB, has slipped in both customer service and knowledge. Except for local ownership I really have no reason to patronize this store. About 2 weeks ago, I went to Tennies looking for GOOP hand cleaner--the white stuff that comes in a small tub. ( Neither M or HD had any ) and some industrial grade nitrile disposable gloves. As soon as I walked in, I saw an employee and asked where I could find these items. Without engaging me, this young woman just pointed over her shoulder towards a couple of aisles which may have had the items I sought. No verbal communication, no attempt to put aside whatever task she was working on to help me.No thanks to this employee, I eventually found what I neeed and went to check out. The young woman at the register was equally aloof. I felt that my appearance was an annoyance and all she wanted to do was to complete the transaction as quickly as possible so she could get back to whatever she was doing b4 I interrupted her.The only thing that distinguishes local businesses from BgBx competitors is customer service. Taking the xtra step to establish a relationship with the customer so they feel that you understand their problem and are there to help them choose the product or service that best meets their needs. Without that, your business is toast because you cant compete w the BgBxs on quality or price. Todd Tennies needs to understand this and train his employees accordingly
Dave is extremely knowledgeable. I found him near appliances. He has a voice that sounds likeit should be in a Disney movie. He seems like the best guy they have, heck.. I want to hire him. Dave, thanks for educating me in appliances. I literally went to Dave the appliance man college I felt. So now, about the Home Depot... Its pretty cool, only because Dave works there.
