Went to Shilow for a tattoo on my forearm, he pulled out a old small plastic container with a lid, it pops open with old ink all ready in it, instead of using a disposable tattoo ink cup with newly added ink.Tattoo artists nickname Shilow he has a Sant Mary tattoo on his arm near bicep.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⚠

Extremely unprofessional. I had my original appointment set up for 4:15 pm and nobody was at the shop so I left. I got a call at almost 7:00 saying he “mixed up the times”. THEN I set up another appointment and paid a 50$ deposit fee to confirm my appointment. He completely blew me off on the day of the appointment and now it’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard from the owner nor have I been able to get a refund. If you want a reliable artist book a different artist at a different shop!!!! Waste of time.

My friend and I got matching tattoos done. They are amazing and exactly what we wanted. Dan is amazing, even with me squirming around (first tattoo). Very nice and walked us through everything. They did a great job distracting me. Everyone there is really nice. Will be coming back.

My artist Dan was very professional and reasonably priced. Got me in within a week too. I took his aftercare advice and didnt have to put any work into healing it right. Turned out great Dans the man!😜

I got a Medusa piercing a year ago from them. I’ve been told numerous times not to go here but my usual was booked. My sister was tattooed here and she didn’t like it due to scarring. But anyways when I called he said I could come in right away. When he was doing the placement for my piercing he didn’t hand me a mirror like most professionals would. It did seem sanitary as he used fresh needles but that kinda bothered me. Then after he gave me the run through of how to do aftercare. Then after three days when the swelling went down a bit I called and mentioned that it seemed crooked. The piercing was centered but the inside was more to the left. His response was that he had been doing it for 16 years and knows what he’s doing so he said it was gonna “straighten out” later. I then went to my usual shop two weeks later and she saw it was crooked. I’ve heard negative things about tattoos and piercings and how they have received tickets so I def do not recommend. And they always delete bad reviews so let’s see how long this one is up.

They literally didnt show up. According to Facebook this has happened to multiple people.

Shilow (I know I spelled his name wrong for sure) was amazing. Such a nice calm environment and was super welcoming. All the staff there was super friendly and there was never a dull moment.

They messed up my belly button piercing to where it’s crooked and way too deep. Nothing looks right in the piercing. They were also semi-rude.

I had an awesome experience getting tattooed by Brian. He did a fenominal job and Ill definitely go here again if I get another tattoo. Would recommend 100%.

Everyone was very nice when I came in the first time.. I made an appointment for a tattoo at another time as they were busy. When I got there no one was there even though the sign said open. I called and no one answered. I will never come back to this establishment.

I tried going here and they told me to come in between a certain time so when I came in on time, they sent me home very unprofessionally, not talking or looking at me, ignoring me just looked sketchy inside too people just hanging around, i would not recommend anywhere in west bend tbh i just dont get why have me come in when im going to pay and tip then send me home because you want to go home? bad service unprofessional bad employees

Walked in Tattoo Artist was already ready to go when we walked in. Got a matching tattoo with my Mother. Turned out absolutely amazing. Was done so gently, didn’t even hurt. Was very considerate if tattoo were to scab was willing to fix it instantly instead of having to make us wait, like other shops.

I absolutely loved my time here. the artist dan was more than helpful and overall just a wonderful experience. i went with my friend to get nose rings and her septum pierced and he was very professional and sanitary with the process and explained a lot of what he was doing it was a very cool and interesting process to watch. he also gave very good after care instructions, absolutely would recommend. ❤️

My sister and I got a tattoo and nose piercing. We were super happy with the results and we expected to pay so much more than what was charged so the value is excellent. Our artist and piercer were both very professional, very easy to converse with. The artist took our idea and made it so much better. The piercer made sure to show us that all of his instruments were sterile and opened the packaging in front of us. The chairs and counters were sprayed down and sanitized while we were there. Over all, we had a great experience and will return when/if we want another tattoo or piercing!

I made an appointment for a nose piercing at 7 pm. We showed up on time but were asked to wait while a family that walked in could be taken care of. I was told on the phone that there was no walk ins and that it was appointment only. We waited for over an hour and a half while the one employee working took his time talking instead of actually doing the piercings. He didn’t wear a mask and we even noticed he wasn’t wearing gloves for one of the piercings. After finally getting pierced, he told us after that it was cash only. We should’ve been informed before our appointment that it was cash only. Overall it was a super unprofessional place. We will not be returning and do not recommend this place.

Went to Smokin Ink today to get a small tattoo. Had an appointment at 3:30pm and waited over an hour and half after being told to take a seat to even be spoken to. The customer service of this establishment was absolutely abysmal. Ive never waited for any product or service this long without at least updates on why Im waiting or for how much longer. Their complete lack of care for me as a customer was not only unsatisfactory but insulting to say the least. On top of that once I finally was acknowledged by the staff they acted like nothing was wrong and like I hadnt just wasted an hour and a half of my life. It was absolute unbelievable. I understand some places have waits, but no heads up at all to an hour and a half wait was so rude. If you are looking to get a tattoo dont waste your time here. The quality of the tattoos isnt worth the blatant disrespect youll be treated to.

I made and appointment for Tuesday at 4. When I arrived, Smokin Ink was closed. I live over in Hartford so it’s a bit of a drive. If they were closed for the weather, it would have nice to hear about before walking up and seeing the locked doors.

All I hear is horror stories about getting piercings from this place. And everyone is too scared to post a bad review. Uneven, unprofessional, piercer always seems out of it . Just dont do it.

It was meh. I waited a really long time for an appointment that I had had scheduled for awhile and nobody seemed to know what was going on with it. The vibes were just not professional, they didnt have change despite a sign that said cash only. The piercing itself was fine though. A side note- nobody was wearing masks during the Covid pandemic which is like, whatever, but just something I noticed.

This is a spectacular tattoo shop! I just recently got a tattoo done here by Jimmy, and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out.I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get my tattoo done as walk in, and Jimmy was very accommodating. He did such an outstanding job drawing my requested piece, he really understood right away what I was looking for. He was so easy to talk to, and really put me at ease, not to mention he did a phenomenal job in a very short amount of time!Jimmy is a brilliant artist, and I will definitely be back again!

I got my septum done here and I ended up having to take it out because I went to another place to have it looked at and they told me the placement Was way off and way to low. One side was way lower than the other. The piercing was just crooked. And the piercingjust didn’t feel comfortable in my nose. Also not to mention I came in with a paper id and they never gave it back to me and then I called to see if they had it and supposedly they couldn’t find it there lol.

Had my nose piercing done as well as a couple of tattoos. Will never go anywhere else. Love it!

I called earlier this week to see if I could make an appointment for a piercing on Sunday (today 02/02/2020) and I was told to just give them a call before I come just to make sure the piercer would be in. I tried calling this morning twice and did not get an answer. I tried calling again in the afternoon and still no answer. The hours online say open Sunday’s. If you’re actually open answering the phone might help get some more business. I ended up going to Wisconskin Ink in Grafton and was given amazing service. I would definitely recommend them.

They didn’t have their store open when I had an appointment and when I called about they gave ME an attitude and told me I should’ve knocked on the door because someone was there when should’ve answered the phone when I was calling or had their store open. they should’ve treated me a lot better for their mistake I wasted 3 hours of my time for (long drive). They told me to leave a bad review sarcastically so here I am. Would NOT recommend to a friend.

Called on a day they were closed, wanting a tattoo I designed myself as soon as possible. Cage called me right away the next day and got me in a couple days after that. Clean, professional, quality tattoo by Cage! This was only my second tattoo, but if/when I get my next one I’m definitely requesting Cage.10/10 would recommend

I got a helix piercing 2 days ago, the bar on the earring is too small to deal with the swelling and I can’t get the earring out. Had to enlist the help of my whole family and still can’t get it out as my ear continues to swell even more. Piercers should have the common knowledge that the bar is supposed to be longer to deal with the swelling. Super unprofessional and I will not be getting another piercing from here.

Got my ear pierced for migraines. The tattoo guy was very easy to talk to. Comfortable place. Piercing didnt work for me, but it has for many others. Highly recommend the place.

Very helpful and professional. I brought my 5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced and it went perfect. Also, a week after one of the earrings fell out and he gave me the replacement stud complimentary.

Shillow and Smokin Ink are fantastic! He did an excellent job piercing my septum. He treats his customers like friends and family! He did a tattoo literally 10 years ago and I never had it touched up. I recently came in and talked to him about it, he told me he’d not only touch it up but revamp the whole tattoo!

Shilow did my first tattoo and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get my tattoo than here. I was very nervous going into it but within a couple of minutes of being in the shop I felt very comfortable. The tattoo itself turned out amazing and I will definitely be going back for more.

We originally went to Barton ink, because a friend suggested it, to get something pierced. But she was never in. She has SPECIAL HOURS. The first two times we were never told that. Just told what day she would be back. Came in that day and they said she leaves @7pm & had already left. It wasnt EVEN 7 we had 30 mins still. I am not going to keep chasing you around to give you my money.We were leaving i saw this shop, Smokin Ink. Wish I would have seen it sooner!!! (I finally wore my glasses so I could actually see). By far THE BEST customer service. We said what we wanted done and got it done. He was friendly and made us comfortable. I loved that there is also an age requirement on how you old have to be to get something pierced. Definitely suggesting SMOKIN INK to anyone and everyone, especially over Barton Ink. Smokin Ink Tattoo work is AMAZING too. We are going in to set up getting tattoos there soon too.

Worst place ever dirty dead bugs in display cases travis aka shillow did the worst tattoo ever cut me with needle and scared me kept taking breaks and had me come back for multiple sitting just to keep going over same stuff seemed to be under influence

I got my septum pierced, but it was pierced way too low to the point where it was bleeding for months and ended up growing into my skin (you can feel the bar through my nose) and is an extricating pain almost a year after.

I reccomend Smokin Ink to anyone looking for killer tattoos and great piercings. Clean and amazing atmosphere. Great customer service (works with your schedule and price range). I will be a returning customer and finally found a shop that cares and is willing to go the extra mile. Always willing to help! And the jewelry selection is incredible and was told they will be expanding even more! Thanks everyone who works there- you guys rock!

Ive been going to Shilow since he was at his old shop. He is absolutely fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about piercings and really wants to make sure you have the best experience possible. Hes always available any time I have questions and really goes he extra mile to make sure everything heals properly and looks the way I want it too. His shop is incredibly clean and Ive never had issues. Its always my first choice for myself and always my first recommendation for anyone interested in a piercing!

Jimmy has done my last 2 tattoos my most recent being in my lower right abdominal area.. pretty sensitive and I couldn’t be happier his art is amazing I will definitely continue to go to jimmy for all my tattoos

Shilow is always great to talk to and always very helpful for what ever needs you have. I have gotten 4 peircings and 3 tattoos done so far all by him. 1 tattoo to come that he is fixing. I tend to get faint when I get a peircing. He has the fan and water ready and doesnt let me leave until he knows Ill be ok even though he knows I bring someone with so Im not driving after. He cares about his clients. He always has deals going on, all you have to do is mention the deal. The shop is great, theres enough space to bring along a couple people and the jewelry he has is of wide variety and not the cheap crap you can get at walmart or Claires best part the price isnt to bad. I will always and forever go to Shilow for all my artwork I want done!
