Our family has gone in a quarter beef 3 times now with Sauve Terre and Joe. Were quite pleased at the quality and interactions with Joe. There is a great comfort in going direct to the source and supporting small businesses. Were happy customers!

We picked up a quarter side of beef a few weeks ago from Sauve Terre Farm and the quality is fantastic. Farmer Joe is a great guy, and you can tell he truly cares about his animals and the land they graze on.I was a little worried about whether it would fit into our chest freezer but we have room to spare, and you cant beat the prices for 100% grass-fed beef. Theres a nice variety of cuts in there, from roasts to steaks, soup bones to ground beef. Weve been really happy with the purchase.With the problems of a centralized supply chain exacerbated by COVID-19, it makes all the sense in the world to support a local farmer.

I love this farm! Their meat is fantastic—the care for their animals and the land really comes through. Plus, Farmer Joe is friendly and organized. We get a regular delivery of beef and pork, and our family gets all of the benefits of this wonderful grass-fed meat. Sauve Terre Farm is the best of Wisconsin food culture—I’m so grateful to have this local resource!

Why would anyone consider buying meat anywhere else?! Delicious, quality meat that is healthy, ethical, and convenient with home delivery. Not to mention Joe is a knowledgeable, reliable farmer with exceptional, humane practices. He amazingly even turned my vegetarian daughter into a carnivore again because of his sustainable, ethical approach to farming. And his nitrate-free beef sticks are legendary in school lunches all over the Midwest! We are fortunate to have him in SE Wisconsin.

I have purchased beef and pork on several occasions from Suave Terre Farm at a local farmer’s market. Most recently I made the 1/3 lb. patties for dinner, and my 14 year old daughter said to me — “Mom, these burgers are better than Kopps!!” The beef makes all the difference!

Weve been getting beef deliveries from Joe at Sauve Terre for years and are always satisfied. The meat is excellent, though grass-fed beef IS a bit different from the standard grocery store beef. Service is great, with deliveries coming to our local farmers market or right to our home. Joe is always friendly and willing to educate us about his products, he clearly cares deeply for his animals.

Ive recently started visiting the Shorewood Farmers Market and discovered Farmer Joe while looking for healthier meat options. The beef is amazing! If you want to support our local farmers who are doing good things, this is your place!
